I've used this company twice; once in 2015 and again just today (2020). Both times I was extremely happy with their services and prices. The first time I had them take out 5 trees and stump grind all of them. They were quick and efficient, and attentive - they found a little empty bird's nest and set it aside for me. Adorable. Charlie was my main point of contact for this year's service and came out quickly to do a quote; my job was small (a couple hours) and so we kept in contact about when they would be able to squeeze me in. Today a team of three very nice guys trimmed up 3 mature trees for me, and they were super professional and courteous while working. They were very careful around my garden and all the random things I had in my yard, including a broken down arbor, bird bath, bird feeders, and lots and lots of random pots, stumps and stones (my yard is a work in progress). I was home alone today but never felt uncomfortable or concerned for my safety. I would 100% use this company again and recommend them to friends and family. read more

Absolutely the best in tree and customer service! Russ and his crew are knowledgeable in all things tree related. They are punctual, efficient, and make sure they leave your yard clear of debris. It was an total pleasure to work with this crew. We had a large Juniper removed from the yard and they trimmed our Willow. We asked them to leave the stump of the Juniper in place so it could be turned into a large bird bath. The next Spring our willow flourished beautifully thanks to the pruning. I would recommend Arbor Tree Care to everyone in the Central Oregon are that is looking for tree removal, pruning, cabling or any other tree needs you might have. Arbor Tree Care, owned by Russell Abt is an exceptional 5 star company. I had planned on taking out a number of Ponderosa pines off my property near Bend by myself. I had arranged my day, moved all of my toys out of the way and prepped to begin the task. It was then that I realized I did not have the skill necessary to take down one of the bigger trees as it was leaning toward my house. I contacted a number of tree service companies in the area and was told it would take days to get an estimate, then more days to arrange for a crew to come out and do the work. Then I contacted Russell at ATC who said he would swing by and take a look. Well he showed up about an hour or so later. Long story-short he took the tree down, by himself, in about ten minutes, No hassles, no problems, just very good quality work done quickly and at a fair price. Russell Abt and Arbor Tree Care are the real deal! Old school service, professionalism, and competency. Be sure and use ABT when you have need of an arborist. Russell and his crew truly know what they are doing. We had several big trees far too close to our house. Arbor Tree Care took them down without anything even touching the house. A truly professional outfit. When they were done the trees were gone, the debris was removed and the house looked great. I was surprised at how fast and efficiently they worked. If you need tree work done, especially if it is a tricky job, these are the guys to call. 5 stars is the most you can give anyone but I'd give them more if I could because they really were that good. read more

I had been calling around trying to get a quote to remove a massive cottonwood that was on its last leg, almost all the Arborists I called only a few returned my call. Arbor Tree Care called me back the same day I left a message. He came out and wrote me a bid the next day which was half the price of the competitors! I was told they were booked out for the next couple months but they'd let me know if anything opened up. I was super happy when they called and said they could fit me in a couple weeks later. The crew showed up and did a great job. This tree was right beside my house and a fence in the other side, they were able to maneuver the big trucks in without running anything over. We asked to keep some of the wood for our wood stove. They removed all the little branches and cut the big stuff into manageable rounds for us. Left it in a nice and neat pile. Called the 5 best rated Bend arborists in Bend. The only one that returned a call was Todd and he was on-site the next day to take a look and provided an estimate. He stated he was scheduled out several weeks - understandable - and I shared with him the reservations dates of the house so that his crew didn't try to do their work while the home was occupied. We moved into our home last summer and our large yard had been neglected for awhile. Charlie came out to help assess what kind of shape our trees were in, then we made a plan to down some dead trees, clean up the low dead branches on our large trees and get rid of some small trees that weren't thriving under the large tree canopy. His crew did a fantastic job and we are thrilled with the results. They were professional, worked hard, and listened to what I wanted during the day and asked questions for clarity.
