    Lemon Fried Pie

Arbuckle Fried Pies is an Oklahoma institution and a staple! I remember going to Falls Creek youth camp as a kid and stopping by Arbuckle's for a special treat, but haven't had a reason to be back in this area of Oklahoma for about a decade now. But recently, I was out here for two different conferences in back-to-back weeks and man, did I make up for lost time! I ended up getting nine different flavors over the course of those two weeks and I enjoyed every second of it! From the first deep inhale when you smell the delicious dough of the pie from the warm bag they just handed you, to the first bite of that same soft, delicious dough, to the very middle bite just oozing with filling, every part of the Arbuckle Fried Pies experience is so special! My only regret is that I probably won't be able to be back for at least another year! However, that makes it all the more special when I finally get the chance to stop by! Until next time! 5/5

Love stopping at this place whenever driving on the way home. There's always a line most times it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the counter. Love the pineapple fried pie. Just wondering when we're going to be in the area again

We are from San Antonio and was driving through town wanted a fried pie so we dropped this place that my wife recommended. The people are friendly the pies are fabulous they have great flavor they have sugar free fruit they have meats a great variety to choose from. Don't drive and pie at the same time they will fall apart and you'll crash.. lol In all honesty they are actually very delicious and they cook them fresh you can't get any better great job Y'all.

Savory fried pies..? Who knew..? I was in the area on a Jeep off-roading trip, and this was on the way to the meet-up stop, so I decided to stop in and try them out... yeah, wise choice! I've had fried pies from all around OK and TX, and these were pretty good. Not sure if I'm a fan of the savory pies, though. I tried the egg, bacon and cheese... the eggs develop a strange texture in the re-warming process which I think is the only thing I didn't like about the pie. The crust was warm and flaky, delicious, but the egg threw me off. I also tried the Polish sausage and potato which, again, crust was so good but the sausage ended up a bit dry. The potatoes were good. Wish they could be customized with cheese or mushrooms, but understand they're pre-made and then rewarmed. As for the Apricot, forget about it... I was all over that pie and dreaming of some vanilla ice cream to add some additional sweet to that amazing flavor. Had to make do with my chocolate milk. Definitely a family run, friendly staff, delicious place to stop when you're in the area.

We decided to stop by here on the way to Dallas to try some fried pies. I've always driven by this place but never stopped and I'm so glad I did today. We decided to try the blueberry and chocolate peanut better cream pies. I got the Burberry. It was. A hard choice of which pie to try, as they all look fantastic. The crust was so good and the filling ratio was perfect. My boyfriend got the chocolate peanut butter cream fried pie and thought it was good, but had a large amount of filling. He ate it all though. Granted we did feel pretty full and heavy after eating them, but it was an enjoyable experience for us! The crust was flakey and not too oily. The service was prompt and the worker told me the top flavors people were buying. Blueberry was not on her list, but I tried that one anyways. The inside was clean and there are many tables to chose from

The atmosphere is charming kind of like a cozy campsite vibe inside. The bathrooms were fairly clean, nothing remarkable but decent enough. As for the fried pies, I don't have much to compare them to since I haven't tried many elsewhere. They were okay, not amazing, but not bad either. I personally didn't enjoy the crust and ended up leaving it on all of the pies. Since they're fried, they're definitely rich and very filling. Service was good overall. Our savory pies took about 10 minutes to come out, while the sweet ones seemed to be premade and ready to go.

The fruit pies are ready as soon as you order them, but the savory pies take approximately 10 minutes because they make them to order. The stop is warm and cozy with a mountain inn ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They all seem to enjoy their job.

The fried pies, both sweet and savory, are AMAZING! The coconut cream is dream worthy! The chicken and vegetables had so much flavor and wow. It was a tad busy but they are quick and efficient on getting things out quickly. Loved the souvenir cups too! Prices are fair and the eat in area was clean. The only issue was the lady taking our order was super rude. She snapped at my daughter because she tried to take her pie when she sat it down on the counter. I did not appreciate her tone and for no reason really. Had it not been for her it would have been a perfect stop.

This place is awesome. Their friend pies are so good. Got the Tex-Mex and a pecan. Both were delicious and easy to eat while I drove.

Omg what a sweet sweet surprise off of the highway! Definitely a must have if you are driving on this highway. I got the chocolate pie and the blackberry pie and both were perfectly sweet and the dough was so fresh and cooked to the perfect crisp! This is a mandatory stop for me now.

I appreciated the care and concern he took when he learned that I needed to eat Gluten Free. He explained everything and made me feel good that I wouldn't get sick. The gluten free brownie was really good and big enough to split. It's wonderful and was gooey and tasted great. The ice cream is really good too. Plus they have more than ONE option for anyone whose gluten free! All of the regular baked goods looked amazing. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend stopping here.

We told them what we were looking for and suggestions were made, we ended up getting a lemon cookie (I asked if it was chewy and he showed me how soft and moist it was) and a raspberry lemon cake. The cookie reminded me of the slices of lemon cake you get from Wally World (delicious!) and the cake was just as delicious. the raspberry filling added a nice little touch that didn't overpower or create too much sweetness/tartness. it's a good thing that I don't live near by cause I'd be a regular however any time I come through Durant, I'm making a stop at the sweet spot!
