Looking at the recent reviews for Arby's , it's not a fast food place I'd want to go. Actually, I like fast food burgers and Arby's never offered burgers ... till NOW! The only reason I'm here is to try the brand new Wagyu Steakhouse Bacon CheeseBurger! I fell for all the advertisements and decided to give it a try. Other reviews said it's great, so I hope so. I already tried the Deluxe version which is a dollar cheaper and no bacon. First off I notice the price is higher than what Arby's advertised. It's supposed to be $6.99, but really it's $7.79! Pisses me off they do that even though fine print says prices may vary .... say what the damn price is and keep it there! No one else in line so I order a Deluxe Wagyu Steakhouse Burger. Just to see what it's like. I hope this fast food burger is worth $8 bucks! First, let me say, Arby's is not set up to do burgers, meaning no flame broiler or flat top griddle to fry the burgers on. So, what they came up with is to pre cook the burgers at some central kitchen factory, by vacuum sealing the raw meat and cooking them in hot water to a still medium pink. Then they are shipped to the restaurants to be unsealed and heated. Get this, by DEEP FRYING the pre-cooked patties to get a crisp on the outside and bring them up to cooked temp to be served. About 90 seconds I hear.  Hey, I got nothing against deep frying, I love most things deep fried! First time for a burger though. I get the burger and bring it to the table. Hmmm... it is pretty hefty, heavier than a Double Double at In N out. Unwrapping, I can tell this is gonna be messy, lots of sauce oozing out the sides. OK, first bite .... first bites are like first kisses, you never know what to expect, but hope for the best! Well, YUMMERS, this thing is pretty good. This is a decent thick patty and a more meat centric experience, say compared to a Double Double where the meat ratio is less but works well with all the other ingredients. This bad boy is all about the meat! This cheeseburger bacon version is definitely better and worth a buck more than the standard Deluxe version. The taste of the smoky bacon really comes through more than I thought it might. It was not over cooked, still slightly pink and moist. I though it could have used a little more lettuce or maybe less sauce. I gotta say, this Wagyu Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger is a keeper! Get down to your local Arby's and give it a try. The only downside to me anyways, is the price, over $8.00 inc. tax for a fast food burger, add some fries and it's a $12 or $13 lunch, maybe that's just the prices these days. I usually only do fast food with coupons ... 2 Jr. Whoppers and 2 fries for $4 bucks! I'm gonna say the price for what it is is a little high, just for what I feel you get. Still tasty though if you have the money. read more

I haven't been in an Arby's in over 5 years and now I am reminded why! This place was awful. Yeah, I know, it's a car stop (setup like a truck stop except for cars) but that's no excuse for serving less than good food. This a food court sharing space for Arby's, Subway and the coffee and soft drinks and pre-made/packaged sandwiches and hot dogs for the gas station. I had a Corned Beef Reuben on Marbled Rye ($6.99) and a small fountain drink ($2.69). The young lady behind the counter was nice enough but the sandwich she made me was a poor value at that price. I've had better at the Safeway Deli counter and less expensive. It's not a good value. And, the Diet Pepsi from the machine was bad - hardly any Pepsi syrup. Save your money, fry up some fish sticks because that is basically what you are eating. I took three bites the rest went into the garbage. Very clean and the gentleman at the register was very polite and helpful. Clearly had a good attitude and work ethic. Whole area is nice, cool air, and comfortable to visit. Food is good quality. Worst food ever. Dry stale pita bread and disgusting meat on the gyro. Nasty "roast beef" placed half in and half out of the bun.

It's been ten years and yes, I did it. I ate at Arby's. What compelled me to seek out my teenage bingefest fast food chain of choice? I don't rightly know. Maybe it was the dream of that thin roast beef product and gooey cheese that seemed to taste like heaven in all of its salty glory. Anyway, I showed up. It was everything I remembered. A fast food that can be both compelling and nauseating. The restaurant is inside of a truck stop and isn't the cleanest. The woman working looked very unhappy. It was dark and creepy everywhere. But that sandwich delighted me all the same. While the employee wasn't very friendly, she put the food together well and made sure we had what we needed. Thin beef product and gooey cheese. If I could leave 0 stars I would! This is the worst Arby's I've ever had in my life! What kind of onion ring is this? It took over 20 minutes for my order of onion rings! When I asked for peppercorn ranch the lady was rude and said they had it, then said they didn't have it, then said she did have it and I would need to give her shitty ranch back. I only come to Arby's for the peppercorn ranch & onion rings. Today I had BURNT, onion SKIN not even onion. Rings. I'm going to say this is semi fast food. It was about a five minute wait. It didn't bother me the wait was for fresh hot food not soggy fries. Roast beef add cheddar sauce curly fries with cheddar to dip in. Good food. I do want to point out how friendly the two ladies were. They are working fast food on thanksgiving weekend and we're still pretty cheerful but definitely helpful. read more

On Oct 12 I went to Arby's for the first and last time. I entered at about 5:15 and there was an older couple (probably around 70) in there that had already ordered. I placed my order and stood back waiting. The male customer walked up to the counter to remind the workers that he wanted extra sauerkraut on his sandwich. The male worker walked out slammed his order down. The customer asked again in a very calm voice if they had included the extra request. The worker tore off his apron and approached the customer. He then began telling the customer that he was going to fuck him up. I was standing back about 10 feet and asked the worker what his problem was. He then came towards me and told me (72 years old) that he was going to fuck me up too. About that time I asked for the manager. She came out and I asked her what she was going to do about her worker. She said"nothing". The other couple walked out without their food. Worker was still stalking around trying to act tough. I then got my foo and left. I have called the Arby's corporate office at 800-599-2729 four times and explained the situation to them each time. Each of them told me that I should expect a call back soon. No call backs! No apologies! No nothing! I tried to get the owners name or phone number and said that they did know it. Yea, right, i forgot to add as all this was going on I asked what the manager was going to do. She said "I am going to do nothing and you all need to leave". I don't know who to complain about because nobody had nametags but the employee who took my order was very rude, I know everybody has their days but this was not the 1st time I've been treated so disrespectfully at this same Arbys. Not a usual place I frequent but there's been a commercial playing over and over in my head so today at lunch I said imma try some Arby's. Drive on over walk inside the truck stop and start looking at the menu board. Apparently that's not ok because as I was looking and walking slowly forward the lady behind the counter sighed, rolled her eyes at me then walked off while mumbling through her teeth that she would be with me in a minute. Stopped at this arbys and ordered a beef and cheddar, french dip and a side salad. It came to over 17 dollars. Opened up the sandwich and there was about an ounce of meat on it, the bread was stale and fell apart, they give me no house sauce and did not even bother to ask. I thought it might be on the side counter but it turns there wasn't any. Overall just tasteless. When J asked them about it they said that is how all arbys do it and I said no, and the lady said we put 3 ounces of meat. There is no way a flat sandwich has 3 ounces of meat and service was not friendly what so ever. NEVER coming back here again read more
