I stopped here one late night as I was staying nearby at the Holiday Inn Express, I drove around and there are not too many places to choose from and I got lucky to see the lights on and went inside and at the time there was only two other couples in there eating and so I sat down and got an iced tea and ordered up my late dinner. The food was prepared quickly and there was just one Lady working the place. When I googled to find a restaurant this place showed closed, but it wasn't. I think some jerk-Off placed it in the system as being closed and it was not and in fact the only restaurant opened at the time. I Highly recommended stopping here to eat.

    Proof they offer curbside

I decided to give this dumbfuk place another try. It's been about 2 to 2 and 1/2 years since I gave them my money. Used to pick up doordash orders here, and no other restaurant, did Ibhavent9 repeatedly cancel the order due to them not even having started make it yet. Never had to wait at any other restaurant ever longer more than I did at this particular denny's, usually 20 to 30 minutes and that's not what any doordasher is supposed to have to ever do. I've given them my money twice before and each time they screwed up my order or never even made it. Decided after a two and a half plus year hiatus, they must have improved and actually gotten proper management, but nope! Chose curbside because it's literally an option on their actual website, not through an alternative app or site, on the Denny's freaking website! They even so much as ask you the make model and color of your damned vehicle! Because I have a sprained ankle I decided to choose this option and it was literally the only reason I chose denny's, as there are no other options in this area and I was not going to choose a place where I had to walk on my ankle and risk injuring it even more. Never got a link or number to call and they have no parking spots marked for curbside so I simply parked in front and called their number three freaking times! On the third try they finally answered their damn phone and I told the lady I was waiting for curbside and gave her my name and car color and she said they don't do curbside LOL I laughed and told her it's on their actual Denny's website in addition to my order receipt it says curbside and she blabbed off a couple of words and then hung up. I stayed in my car assuming she would figure it out but no one ever came out. Went inside and stood there for far too long for some level of acknowledgment, and then was finally given my order. No explanation why they offer curbside on their website but they don't do curbside. They are just as stupid as the majority of the people who live in this area. Backwards, uneducated, freaking imbeciles!

Order still says finishing up after I went in.

Ordered online, curbside pick up Whst a joke. They don't offer curbside. I sat outside for 10 minutes after I arrived. No email saying my order was done. The sloppy waitress said I my order had been done for 15 minutes. Cold fries. Small portions cold burger. Asked for a manager and sloppy girl hung up on me. I'll never return.

I like how Michael S put it- its a Denny's, you either like it or you don't. I agree wholeheartedly. And for me- I like Denny's. You know basically what the menu is before you even go in there. You don't need to worry about what to order since it never changes and you'll always find something. Breakfast all day, coffee all night. It's not the best and we admit that. We don't expect that from a Denny's, especially one that's part of a Loves Truck Stop. Service is slow but kind- very nice- just don't expect anyone rushing to help you. I placed an order over the phone, she told me when to pick it up. I showed up and after waiting in the lobby/cashier line/right across from the gas station restrooms for about 10 minutes, she waved me over and checked me out. Sweetest girls that work there, I was just unsure of if I was waiting in the right place or not since no-one was at the counter and the man rolling utensils just looked over every minutes or so but didn't say a word. My burgers were huge! Like, so big for a Denny's! The salad was typical but missing red onions and I didn't get the side of mayo I requested but hey, whatever. For a to-go, real burger, in the middle of nowhere, Ill take it. Thanks Denny's and girls that helped me!

I think this Denny's here in Corning is a little better than the one we have in Red Bluff. I've even got my free birthday breakfast here! I've stopped here on occasion when traveling the 5 south outta Red Bluff. Breakfast is pretty standard and predictable. I know most people eat breakfast here, but the lunch and dinners aren't bad either. Good burgers here. Service is better here than some Denny's I've been to say like in the Bay Area. Easy on and off the freeway.

It's a Denny's - you either like it or you don't. I, for one, don't mind it. Reasonably priced, large portions, OK food (if you want great diner food you'd find a Black Bear Diner)... You get the point. This Denny's was a convenient location to stop for brunch and a break on the drive from Marin County to Mt. Shasta. It's attached to a Love's truck stop... quite different from the typical convenience store attached to a gas station down in the Bay Area. For what it's worth, the restrooms (shared with Love's) were clean, and I was pleasantly surprised that the stalls had actual walls and doors, not the regular stalls where you can watch people poop through the inch-wide cracks between the stall wall and the door. It wasn't super busy at this Denny's when we went, though it wasn't completely dead either. The people working here were friendly and the service was prompt, despite other reviews here stating it was slow. We got our order taken right away and the food came out reasonably quickly. Everything in the restaurant was clean and tidy - something you shouldn't take for granted at other Denny's locations. No complaints there. The food itself was fine. Again, when it comes to reviewing a large chain like this where the menu and ingredients are basically identical anywhere in the country, there's not a major point of reviewing the actual food. That said, I had the Double Berry Pancake Breakfast or something like that... about $12 including coffee. Reasonable. The short version: it's a fine Denny's, better than some I've been to, but nothing exceptional. I'd come again if I was passing through the area.

    Lame fries

The burger wasn't bad, but honestly who decided to put this order together, barely any fries and they messed up the other orders too. This place used to be good.

The food was tasty but they were out of some utensils and boneless chicken wings. The waitstaff was nice and attentive. Decent place to stop and eat at while getting gas at LOVES truck stop.

    Raw Sausages I got DISGUSTING!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! This place was one of my favs now Customer Service Sucks, And It seems My 9yr Old Can cook a way better breakfast. I went in to get my birthday breakfast, came home to find that I could share with my 11month Baby cause the sausage was still raw in the middle, and my SCRAMBLED Eggs were all Watery! DISGUSTING I KNOW.. I try calling 14 times NO ANSWER, I go back in to show them then they throw eggs and sausage in a container and like if I'm the one who messed up! NEVER EATING HERE EVER AGAIN NOR WILL I TAKE MY FAMILY HERE!

Its a casual yet classy place for lunch and dinner. They have a shaded patio in front as well ( dog friendly). I love smaller towns! Relatively no traffic or crime! My boyfriend and I ordered off the lunch specials menu. He ordered the smash burger and chose macaroni salad. I ordered the grilled shrimp on a skewer with brown rice and spicy coleslaw. We always try each other's food! The smash burger was juicy and the macaroni salad was good! My shrimp had a nice grill on it and the coleslaw was delicious. The brown rice was alittle dry for my taste buds. It has a full bar with tvs to watch sports. There is quieter seating on the other side of the bar area. Overall it was a good experience! Great menu with plenty of speciality cocktails along with some craft beers! Staff is professional!

The bathrooms are clean and large enough to accommodate a large amount of people at one time. We decided to taste the gelato while waiting for our car to charge since we already had lunch, but looking at the fact that they make their own sourdough a sandwich would be a great choice for future stops. The gelato is made in house, and I had a lemon which was light and refreshing. My husband had the dark chocolate gelato. He said it didn't have a heavy milk based taste and not really creamy but very chocolaty. The server for the gelato was very friendly and let me taste first. Plan on around 7:30, the crowds diminish, and the sunset is beautiful." He also said reservations are fine but not necessary. Cool, see you this evening. Returning to the B&B, I decided to research the restaurant. I found the website, and searched the menu and reservations. The website said closed, and no reservations available.I thought it odd that the information was in conflict, so I called. I received confirmation that the were open, and made a reservation. After arriving that evening, we were told we needed to wait awhile because the server was busy. We waited patiently for about twenty minutes to be seated. After finally being seated, we waited again to order. The place was very busy for a Wednesday evening. After all the waiting, I started to wonder it this would be worth it. Finally, the meals came. The food was very good as was the service. After the meal, the waitress coherced us into the cheesecake for desert. She said - if we liked - she could serve us on the patio. The sun was setting, and the weather was beautiful, so we took her up on it. What began as a question marked evolved into an exclamation mark. The cheesecake with blueberry compote was Devine. Was it worth the wait? Yes, for the cheesecake alone. If you are visiting the Mt. Lassen area, this place is a must. Barring the inaccuracies of the website, the experience was wonderful. I could rate the restaurant a four, for the error, but they get a six for the cheesecake, so five it is.
