(10/7/2023) Came through on the same road trip 8 years ago. Had forgotten we'd stopped here before. Sandwiches tasted about the same, if skimpier on the meat. Customer service is still exasperated with every customer who comes through. It looked like a lone person was manning the register and the drive-thru. Bathrooms were atrocious. Toilet paper holders broken, hand dryers broken, no paper towels, and filthy. Plenty of options for fueling up and travel plaza designed to get you in and back on the road easily. read more

This Arby's is part of the Pilot Center in Kenly, NC off of I-95 South. It was the anchor of the Center being on one side. Believe it or not, my bladder was NOT the cause for this stop. I was actually the sleeping passenger so when we stopped, Honey Hubby said since it was after 3 pm, time for a quick break for food and we learned on trip up, he was able to get more meat from Arby's. The place was relatively empty. Though there was dining area, chances are, people are picking up food and getting back on the road. Sign on door clearly states need for wearing masks inside (due to Covid), floor signs state 6' distancing. We ordered and I ordered #17 French Dip and Swiss, sandwich only. The masked cashier, behind the plexiglass, clarifies that I'd like the dip with it. I had water waiting for me in the car and with heavy holiday traffic, I don't need us to need multiple pit stops (I DID have us stop in VA already ). Honey orders Double Roast Beef and medium Sweet Potato Fries (which I dreamt of from trip up), and his soda. The condiment center was closed for obvious reasons; there were certain tables with signs to close them for usage so larger distance between tables. . Others masked customers were coming in to order and interestingly two separate people came to the front counter along the left side of the place where most who have placed orders would wait. Maybe they were trying to stay away from where Arby's flow into the rest of the Center. Honey was feeding our ride (Pilot gas) and I brought our order out. He was the one who noticed my dip wasn't in the bag so I went back in. Definitely busier but the employees were attentive as another asked how I could be helped and went off looking for the dip. . . Which another then went to help when he came up seeing I was standing there. The Cashier who had been busy taking orders from people who may have come in after seeing the bag brought out .. . Hey, truck pumping gas next to us made eye contact with my bag and was second in order line, must know where this special dip sauce is and gave instructions to the second guy. Ok, I'm glad I got the warm dip because the bread perfectly soaks it up and helps melt the Swiss cheese (which was already melted but my having to go back in caused it to solidify again) and roast beef. Bread was soft but not the perfect soft if it was by itself, so the dip helped. I mean, come on, this is a fast food joint so quite pleased. The aroma of the sweet potato fries were wonderful. I wish I ate them when they were still warm/hot. I do wonder why and how it gets that deep orange color though as it was quite sweet, thus the reason sweet is part of its name. Quick, fast service. Wish the mistake of leaving the dip out didn't happen but they responded well. . . Mental note to always check the order before leaving. Eat the food when it's warm and do get the french dip! read more

We didn't get to eat today. This review is more of a complaint against the drive thru worker that clearly didn't want our business. There was no cars in the drive thru so it couldn't have been that busy. When I tried to order, I started with a kids meal, he didn't ask the side or the drink, he just followed up with, "is that it?". I was no, I need apple sauce and apple juice. "Is that it?" No, I'd like to order a #2 classic with curly fries. He clearly aggravated and snapped at me asking what drink I wanted so we cancelled the order and pulled off. I work too hard for my money and put up a lot to earn what I take home and I won't spend it where it's not appreciated. Never going back here. Oh and we are local and have visited frequently and never had this issue. read more

The other people I was with did not have issues with this Arby's but my stomach hurt for the entire day after eating here. I think it is because I ordered the roast chicken salad, whereas my counterparts ordered a classic roast beef sandwich. Next time, I will not order a salad as these are the hardest to clean and I do not think Arby's did its due diligence when serving it. I have never had an issue with Arby's before, so this will not be my last time, but in the future, I am going to play it safe and order a cooked sandwich. read more

Friday April 2 2021 at 6:30 pm we stopped at Arby's in Kenly NC. It was the worst experience ever. We only had 3 cars in front of us and we sat in line for 26 min waiting for our food and as you know they have the drive thru fixed so you can't just leave. Once we got to the window they gave the guy our money and we waited another 4 min. My order I told him sweet tea and he made the drinks. We pull over to eat in the parking lot and tea was unsweetened so my husband took it in and the girl said we're out of sweet tea and he should have told us, so fine we get soda. We dig into the bag and the fries were burnt and hard not much cheese on the cheddar roastbeef sandwich either. After wasting all that time I'm letting everyone know how sorry it is. I would prefer to give no star but looks like I have to. I'm posting a picture of the fries on my fb so everyone can see and I'm letting them know about it too. Poor management and sorry workers except the only female that I saw working her ass off. read more

Service was good however they ran out of roast beef right after our transaction? The place was a little unkempt but mostly clean. Looked like they used bathroom towels for napkins though, and the soda in the fountain didn't taste quite right. But the lady's working were friendly! read more

Visited the drive thru today.... VERY slow service waited in line 30 plus minutes...to find out no chicken salad and to get home and find a bug in my wife's chicken sandwich....j read more

I just went through the drive thru ordered 4 meals. $40 and every single one of my sandwiches were wrong. How can you mess up a beef and cheddar half pound? I'll tell u how no sauce n ok cheese the wrong bun... ordered a chicken sandwich plain it had mayo. Ordered another no lettuce or tomato it had lettuce and tomato. Ordered another beef and cheddar it had no cheddar but at least had the right bun. They were not busy at all. No excuse for 4 out of 4 sandwiches being wrong. The only thing they have going for them is the nice guy in the drive thru. He was awesome and in point. I have already gotten home and my kids are not going to eat these sandwiches I'm not driving all the way back in this heat. Just ridiculous! read more

On my way home from Florida. Decided to stop and get a sandwich and Mozzarella sticks. The young lady at the window was new, but served me well. She rang it up as a meal as that would save me money. I was surprised when I received fries. (In addition to the rest of my yummy food). The manager was on her way home but made a point to explain that to me when i was confused. One of the cleanest arbys I've ever been too. It's at a huge truck stop area. It's typical arbys food of that's what your looking for.

On our way to Washington DC my brother decided he wanted to eat at Arby's. He made a good decision. The staff was friendly and fast, which is usually rare thing. Restaurant was very clean, definitely a place to eat if you want something fast. This Arby's was located in Kenly, NC. read more

Serious health hazard!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I stopped here to use the restroom. As I was washing my hands one of their employees walked out of the stall, quickly rinsed her fingertips, and walked out! She did NOT use soap at all, barely used enough water to really consider this a rinse, and walked back to her post behind the counter! Disgusting! read more

Such a pleasant environment! Staff very cordial & professional. Food was cooked to order. Love the extra touches - flowers on tables, checking on diners at tables, all giving one the sense the staff takes pride in their work!
