We were up in Brantford for the weekend and on our way back to the hotel, we just wanted a quick bite for lunch. We stopped here and so glad we did. You can customize your entire order here which is great. Think Chipotle for burgers. They make your burger and then you can add whatever toppings and sauces you'd like. So cool. It feels like how fast food places should be everywhere. I also got a milkshake since they had a deal for summer cold drinks and it was so good! The restaurant itself was super clean and organized. We took the food to go but we came back and ate here another time and had a great time. I am gonna have to start a petition to bring Harvey's to America. We will make this a stop on our tour of Brantford every time for sure.

I did some searching and found Harvey's nearby! We stopped in and ordered a cheap burger (some promotion they had going on) and a crispy chicken sandwich meal. I went to the restroom after ordering but when I came out, my boyfriend told me I had to pick my toppings for my sandwich. What?! So it's like a fast food restaurant but you can customize your food, which is fun. I was able to add lettuce, tomato, and hot peppers to my sandwich along with some mayo. The fries were hot and fresh and the sandwich was crispy! The burger was a little weird - it tasted like a Morningstar veggie burger. Not bad, just a little strange. I also found that the restaurant was clean, and had a large amount of condiments, along with the free drink refill station which was near where we were sitting. SERVICE: We were served by a kind younger gentleman that took our orders with patience and kindness. I found that the service was very fast and attentive. I enjoyed how the gentleman that took our orders was polite, and also answered all of our questions without any pressure to order certain items. Apparently the Canadian version of the U.S.'s grilled chicken sandwich is their Country Chicken sandwich, which consists of Applewood sauce, cheese, tomato, and lettuce, and was tasty. I also got a small fry to go with it, and McDonald's fries are my favorite. Bathrooms were nice and clean and the entirety of the restaurant was very modern, too.
