I currently have one child in braces, and what used to take about 20 minutes somehow turned into a two-hour appointment this time. When I asked the front staff for an update, they responded with attitude and absolutely no effort to actually check what was going on. The front lobby staff are consistently rude, dismissive, and condescending. Every visit, I watch them talk down to clients, embarrass people about payments in front of the entire lobby, and accuse families of being behind--only to be proven wrong when the client shows screenshots of their payment. It seems like their system doesn't update fast, but instead of handling it respectfully, they immediately assume the worst and berate people. It's unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. As for why my son's appointment took so long? They had to remove and reinstall four brackets because they "weren't aligned correctly." Having to redo multiple brackets less than a year into treatment doesn't sound normal. I don't understand why they don't communicate the procedure with the parents before they proceed on doing something like this. The removal was painful for my son, they pried the brackets off without dissolving the adhesive and then spent almost an hour drilling away leftover glue. It makes me question whether they even put them on correctly in the first place. Their prices might look a little cheaper upfront, but trust me--the lack of professionalism, rude staff, long wait times, and questionable quality of work make it absolutely not worth it. I'm taking my business elsewhere, and I recommend other parents think twice before choosing this place.

It was obvious that their focus is on excellence. Everything was explained by Dr Herrera and his dental assistant at each step. The office manager, Steve, is outstanding as well. He went above and beyond to locate and procure a special tool needed for my implant previously placed in another city before I moved to the valley. I am extremely happy I found them for my dental care. I highly recommend this dental practice.

We first went there because they were giving us 20 dollar gift cards for each of my children to get…read moreseen there. I have three kids so they obviously targeted us. Also when we got there they didn't pay us the gift card until our appointment for all 3 kiddos was over. I know they are mostly seeing medicaid patients and it doesnt look good that they are paying people like this and is probably not legal. We were taken to the examinations room to see Dr. Jacob and he clearly had a long night because he reeked of alcohol. He did a fast examination on my children and when it was time for them to have treatment done, Dr. Jacob said sorry mam, no parents in the back. He did an application of the fluoride to my youngest but my 6 yr old and 11 yr old both needed treatment. My 6 year old said he didn't do anything on him but when we asked for the billing statement it said that three fillings were done and billed to the insurance. My 11 yr old daughter needed 5 fillings done she said that Dr Jacob didn't even numb her and just started drilling her teeth. She said she told the doctor and the assistant that she was having trouble breathing but they wouldn't stop. I am reporting them to the board and any other agency that is in charge of handling in FRAUD AND ABUSE.

We were scheduled at the end of the week on Friday and it look like they getting ready to close for the day and maybe for weekend. The dentist who I think his name was Dr. Jacob or Dr. Jay, he came in to look inside mines, my husbands and my two kids mouths and teeths. We had to wait for like one and a half horas and when he came in he looked really tired with eyes really red and was slurring like he was drinking before and was flirting with his dental nurse rite there in the room in front of my kids and mi esposo. This was so much not professional things to do and they start taking kids to back to get some silver teeths that our other dentist never said they need before. We wait for it and my husband say we want to leave after the kids gots there silvers. They agree and we got our twenty dollars and when we are leaving the patient area in back and walking out, we see the dental nurse and Doctor Jacobs was both breathing from the mask and tubes of gas they give to my ninos. My husband was very mad and we do not know where we need to go to report this dentist and nurses for medicaid. This NOT a good place for anyones families. Next time I check Yelp and I listen to the other patient reviews. This place is no good and doctor is bad.
