When I was ready to relaunch the boat, I was tolld could leave it in the hoist till the 5200 cured . She also made her way around the boat to see how all the passengers were enjoying their trip. She was fantastic! Jo-Jo was a great captain. He was also very friendly and took the time to talk with my 6 year old. Brenden was also very wonderful. Making sure all the walkways were clear and safe. He was also taking the time to talk with the passengers. Lyndon was our bar tender and was also so incredibly nice. Made some great Long Island iced teas and was great to chat with. The boat is very cute. We truly had a great time on our cruise. I highly recommend going out on the tour at least once. I would love to do it again. A cute tiki bar on the river with live music, fire pit and margarita slushies sounded like the perfect place to be. We sat down at the bar and weren't greeted for at least 15 minutes. There were probably 10-13 other patrons around so we gave some grace even though we prefer a "Hey I'll be with you shortly" or whatever else. One lady came over to us looking grumpy and said (referring to the other woman behind the bar) "she isn't a bartender so if you think she's ignoring you, she's not). We said okay thanks, no worries. another 10 minutes goes by while we watch the "non-bartender" pour quite a few beers for people who arrived after us. Very confusing and a bit upsetting that we had now been sitting for almost half an hour without even getting our drinks placed. As soon as we agreed to leave, the grumpy woman asked for our orders with a scowl on her face. During our order, the non-bartender asked her a question about a beer being on draft vs the bottle. The lady answered her, rolled her eyes and said "what else" to us with attitude. We were so uncomfortable and felt lied to. My excitement about this place quickly went down. I would rate one star, but the place could be so great with better employees/better system. Google reviews showed multiple reviews about the same grumpy woman. Unless she is the owner, maybe it's time to find someone else...

I have been on rivers, lakes and the ocean before. I like a challenge. However, this was really hard for me to be in the back of the canoe for the whole trip. The obstacles are nearly constant for the first hour and if you go with a group like we did it was hard to stay close to them because of them. *That might be what you want! * Great! I have always loved canoe trips because they feel so chill however this was not chill. I couldn't look away. The current, wind, trees and other kayakers/canoes in the river made this stressful. Probably not great for those brand new to canoeing and kayaking- or those that don't feel like non-stop hard paddling for an hour. The second half was more what I was hoping for- Open river. Fewer trees down. Fewer people. If I had been in the front of the canoe it all would have been delightful. My son was in the canoe with me and enjoyed it (but he didn't have to navigate). The staff was friendly, helpful and kind. The space and gear were great. They were very family friendly and an experienced person can easily take their kids.

As a first timer, I was enamored with the magnitude of available charters and was nervous about picking the right one! Thankfully we received glowing recommendations for Real Teaser and I now know why. Captain Mitch and First Mate Dave worked incredibly hard to ensure we had the best outing. Within minutes of leaving the dock, five salmon took the bait and the boat swung in to action. Reeling in my first fish was exciting and way more difficult than I had anticipated! Thankfully, Dave was in the trenches showing me how to wear the feisty fish out and properly reel him in! It was an adrenaline rush catching one after the other! Reel Teaser worked hard to ensure we caught what we could, constantly switching out bait, traveling to different depths at various speeds. We had a great time and the 16 Salmon were just a sprinkle on the Sundae! I am already planning another trip with them in August!
