I was honestly nervous coming here after seeing the 2 star ratings, especially since I had just changed insurance & didn't have much of a choice as the distance is a lot further away from the actual city I'm closer to. So glad it worked in my favor. The wait was long (2 hours), but they warned me ahead of time & even offered another location with shorter wait time. After driving almost 40 miles, I chose to stay and it wasn't too bad. The office is small but not crowded, and the staff was kind, efficient & attentive. Having lived in LA, 2 hours was nothing compared to average 4-12 hour wait I was used to-(LA pre-pandemic & ever since) The nurse checked on me, apologized for the additional time in Exam room waiting for the NP, asked if I needed anything (which I've never experienced). Nurse Practitioner Ana was great--she listened to me closely, checked everything thoroughly, and sent my prescription in so fast it was ready before I even left the parking lot. I was also able to get a referral to a specialist without jumping through hoops or the usual resistance I've dealt with in the past. Overall, this was one better urgent care experiences I've had in years. I felt heard and taken care of, which sadly isn't always the case anymore. Hoping the rest of my care here stays just as positive. It was mentioned I'll be in good hands, when I see my new PCP, so that was reassuring. Located behind Starbucks off Main Street. After having Kaiser for 20 years, I had to switch providers after starting Medicare. More than once, I said, "These people are going to kill me". Insane wait times for a simple annual checkup... like three months. Twice the doctor mixed up my chart with another patient and didn't know until I told her that doesn't sound like my test results. The doctor didn't even look at my bloodwork until I was sitting in front of her, and I felt rushed. I told them I was moving out of state, but no one made a note of it. I kept getting texts from them, I replied I was no longer in the area. After getting set up with a hew healthcare system, I finally feel well cared for again, and realized how poor the service is in Ramona. read more

After switching insurance from having Kaiser my whole life, and being assigned a PCP at the ramona office, this place was a nightmare when trying to familiarize myself with how getting healthcare typically works outside of systems like Kaiser. My experience with this office has made me question whether our healthcare system is somehow worse than I already knew it was. I wish I was exaggerating when I say that almost every single time I have come into this office or spoken on the phone with them, they have made a mistake, told me misinformation, or started to share my private health information over the phone before confirming it was me speaking. As a service industry worker, I try to be very understanding. That being said, you cannot afford to be bad at your job when working in healthcare. Alternatively, this office has failed time and time again to provide timely care because of scheduling issues. I do not find it ethical to keep accepting new patients as a PCP, but not be able to see them for MONTHS at times. I cannot imagine how much more stressful this experience would be for the elderly, or those with life threatening chronic illness. If possible, just make the drive to Poway. The extra time and money you spend on gas is nothing compared to the stress you may experience if you have urgent health problems that are not being properly addressed. I have never felt strongly enough to write a negative review before, but unfortunately it is that serious when it comes to public health. read more

It started with me calling the clinic and getting the most patient insurance help, then I went in to a bunch of nice receptionists. The one who was on the phone with me earlier helped me check in and she was very friendly and patient again. I barely waited 3 minutes before I was taken back. The doctor came in quickly and had wonderful bedside manner. She was knowledgeable of my injury and did a marvelous job prescribing medication. I believe she was Dr. Flores. read more

Front desk reps were very friendly, helpful & kind. Nurse Practitioner Anna was warm, sweet and sympathetic. Xray tech was caring and efficient. It took a couple of hours from start to finish but that wasn't surprising for urgent care. Glad to know we have this available in Ramona! read more

I honestly can't believe Arch Health Urgent Care in Ramona only has a 2.5 rating. We went there as out-of-state patients, arriving just 45 minutes before closing, and the care we received was exemplary. George, our nurse practitioner, was amazing. There was some concern about a possible heart issue, and he took the time to carefully work through the symptoms, order the right testing, and reassure us every step of the way. What impressed me most was his thoughtful, compassionate approach to the fact that we were self-pay -- he gave us excellent care without breaking our pocketbook. From the front desk to the provider, every person we encountered was professional, kind, and attentive. I truly can't think of a situation where five stars is more appropriate. What an absolute joke of a healthcare organization. 3 months ago I had a checkup and apparently they've had a network breach. They won't take your phone call they make you come in and then they give you bad information. And all of them have this dumb blank look on their face like we have no idea. It's ridiculous not helpful and dismissive. They recommended I call the records office in Poway and ask them to mail it. I did the records office said they only thing they can do is fax it to the office in Ramona and I go and pick it up. I go to pick it up guess what the fax is down The fax has been down she knew it they knew it and gave me wrong information anyway. I have been trying to get my Metformin for over a month now. I understand they were ransomwared, but over a month?!? I have been out for this long and I am pretty sure that can be dangerous? I have been using Arch for 3 years, and have seen them steadily get worse. The latest insult is the new lab they use. Yesterday I arrived at Labcorp in Poway, as directed by my Arch doctor to have blood drawn for tests. I got there 15 minutes after they opened that day, 0715. I was there, waiting for service for 90 minutes. I waited in their area used for that purpose. There were average 40 people in a room that was 20 feet by 15 feet, with low ceilings. There were chairs for about 2/3 of the people. The others had to stand in that crowded room. I was told that the waiting time and the number of people there was about average for their business. I would imagine some of the people were there for routine yearly tests, but that many were likely being treated for some kind of sickness. I think only the most careless, unaware people would go there a second time. read more

Went to the urgent care and they attended me quickly. I waited about 30 mins. The doctor listened to me as I explained my symptoms.

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm sick with a cold and running a FEVER. Living here in Ramona there's not much options. I called first time the guy who answered said I called the wrong place and proceeds to give me a number I call, it was the same number. Get ahold of someone the second time and she said " ok I'll pass the message and have the doctors call you". Three hours goes by, NOTHING. I call again for an update they hang up on me! Worst worst worst place. How dare you do this to sick people. This facility should be shut down if they aren't going to help people. read more

This place used to be so good! I was so excited when they first opened and we had a medical urgent care facility in town. I don't know what has happened in the last year, but it has continued to go "downhill"! Was there for an upper respiratory infection and was told it was too early for meds. It had been 5 days with steadily worsening symptoms, neg Covid! Went home and Teladoc for zpak and albuteral. Four days later sinuses weren't better and really bad and went back to urgent care and waited 2 1/2 hours to finally be told that they couldn't see again for the same symptoms!!! 2 1/2 hours of sitting in my car because I couldn't sit in waiting room with those symptoms!!! Lady at desk was extremely rude and I just got my co pay back and left. Wait they couldn't see me again?!?!!!!!! The next morning I call the regular office for an appt and they told me they wouldn't see me because the original urgent care visit aftercare plan was to go to ER if symptoms got worse. They haven't gotten worse, just sinuses not completely healed. I was never told this nor given the paper work from the urgent care provider. I am in no way needing to go to the ER and take up space let alone expose myself to so much!!!!!!! Arch I am done with you !!! BTW I am still waiting upon a call from my dr that I have called 5 times about one of my medications.........Poway urgent care was wonderful and great!!! read more

Just wasted 2 hours waiting for urgent care services. The delay was the billing person at the front was incompetent on what number to verify coverage for a veteran! The number is TRICARE to get the approval. I find it hard to believe there are no veterans in Ramona and that this facility would not have the experience necessary to get an authorization. Completely unacceptable, I've never had a problem with an urgent care not being able to authorize services. I will never go back. read more

Last time I called for an appointment I spent 20 minutes on hold and being forwarded from Ramona to Rancho Bernardo back to Ramona. So this time I thought I'd use the automated online appointment scheduler. I ran through the menus and waited, no appointment, no email, nothing happened. Fail. So then I decide to try to call in. I have a card that is supposed to remind me to make the appointment. There's no phone number on it. I look up the number on their website. I get a message saying it's outside of office hours and they're closed, and to "please call back when our office is open, Monday through Friday, 8am until 530pm." IT'S 11:30 AM ON A FRIDAY YOU JACKASSES. read more

Tried to get a prescription refill before I left the country on vacation. The "system" was down. Rite aid had tried to get approval three days before. No one could use a prescription pad to hand write a refill order. No one cared. Utterly disgraceful. Will be looking for a new doctor. read more

This review does not reflect Dr. Blando. She is amazing, the reason they are not receiving a 1 Star only. But the location it's self is understaffed. The staff it's self is good, no complaints, but the wait will be at least an hour even with an appt. Oddly you can make the same appt in Poway or Penasquitas location, and your appt is on time with your Doctor. Sadly this is not a location to take an elderly or sick person, as the wait time is overwhelming. Urgent care is also lacking on the amount of time or attention given to the patient, we made three visits to the urgent care before finally making a trip down the hill to urgent care there to have better care. Would recommend any of the doctors here but not to this location. read more

I have to admit that I was really skeptical about having my kids go to Arch for their physicals because of the 3 star review on here but I'm so glad I did. Dr Han seems awesome. I wasnt able to make my son's appointment due to my own Dr appointment but they allowed me to fill out forms so my son could drive himself. He saw Dr Han and that guy was so thorough. Even called me after the appointment to let me know everything and asked for permission to talk to my son's sport therapy Dr who he seems to know personally. Also goes to the games himself which says a lot about his support for kids in the community. I thought he was great. Will be using him from now on read more

Avoid like the plague. Always running late and the doctors spend less than 5 minutes with you. Dr. Blando is terrible. She has a bad attitude. My pharmacy and I had to call multiple times over 2 weeks to get my -inflammatory and flexeril refilled for a rotator cuff. I've had to take painkillers from multiple surgeries and now a torn rotator cuff. She had prescribed 1 Norco a day which isms like baby aspirin for me. She would not refill the one a day and said I had to see an ortho. I can't get an appointment with ortho for over a month. I couldn't even get her to order a 3T MRI with contrast (MRA). So she left me hanging in excruciating pain just from not refilling the non-controllef substances. Have been using Arch for general practitioner services but never again. They also deleted my similar review on Google. Terrible place where Dr. Blando has made multiple mistakes on my prescriptions. I wouldn't recommend this place for a flu shot read more

I see Dr. Dasoff and he has always been great. He takes the time needed to talk and discuss your situation. The staff is great too. I did see Dr. Kasch once and I was sadly disappointed. My five star review is for Dr. Dasoff and the office staff. When I saw Dr. Kasch, I had asked her when she was done if she could also take a look at the bump growing on my finger. Her exact words were "it looks like some sort of nodule that may or may not go away". Really?? I received an additional charge for that. The next time I saw Dr. Dasoff he immediately told me it was a gangling cyst and offered to send me to orthopedic. I had a 1 inch palm frawn thorn broke off in my foot. It had gone through my shoe and into my foot then broke off. I went to urgent care and signed in. Wrote on the paper I had the thing stuck in my foot. Talked with the girls at the desk about it. Sat and waited an hour and a half to be called back. The "doctor" on duty (was a nurse practitioner, there was no real doctor there) didnt even look at my foot and told me "I'm not doing that here. You need to go somewhere else". It was said very rudely, she didnt even try to pull it out, and I waited all that time to be treated like that. If she is unable to pull out splinters or thorns, then what the hell is she doing in urgent care? Or the medical practice for that matter. I ended up going to Pomorado in PowY and they pulled it out and didnt even have to cut my foot open to get it. read more

Today was my second visit here; I hesitated to come back, as my first experience wasn't so good. However, I was pretty sure I had shingles, and my regular dr ( in El Cajon) couldn't get me in on short notice. This time, I have nothing but good things to say. I was greeted and signed in, and my insurance verified quickly. I didn't wait more than 20 minutes to be seen, and didn't wait in the exam room at all. Everyone from the LVN who took me in and took my vitals (I am sorry, I can't remember her name), to the PA, Steven Holm, was friendly, efficient, and kind. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I brought my four month old in tonight due to a splinter that was embedded in his toe. I figured it was simple enough that we could save the hour drive down the hill and come to this location instead. (BOY WAS I WRONG!) It wasn't too deep, but it was deep enough that I couldn't do it on my own and it was causing him discomfort. When we arrived, the COVID screener woman approached us and got WAY too close, when I stepped back to put more space between us she got even closer - couldn't take a hint. She asked us just two questions (if we had been in contact with a positive COVID case or if we had a cough) and then took our temps. That was the only "screening". Compared to Sharp offices this is pathetic. I'm now concerned that we've been exposed to COVID as a result of our visit. When we finally were able to see a nurse practitioner, I explained to her what was going on and that unfortunately I had gotten half of it out but the other half was embedded. She asked if I wanted her to try and get it out, which I responded yes (as that was the entire point of our visit). She tried with tweezers and obviously could not get it, and then asked if I wanted to go home and soak it again or if I wanted her to try to use a sterilized needle to get it out. I said that I'd much prefer to get the splinter out as that's why we went to an urgent care for medical assistance. So she attempted for about five minutes, and then said she was no longer comfortable attempting to get it out and told us to go home and soak it and/or come back again tomorrow to see a doctor who *might* be more comfortable getting it out. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Side note - at no point did I see anyone wash their hands, and my sons toe was not sterilized before or after being poked with a needle. All they did was wipe it with dry gauze and put a bandaid that didn't fit or work on his toe. As we left, the screening lady was sitting by the front door on her phone with her shoes off. So incredible unprofessional. It's not worth it to go here - just go down the hill to see real medical professionals. read more
