Just completed the installation of a new gas fireplace insert. I chose to have a licensed plumber (Arch Plumbing) tap and run the gas line back to the fireplace. The fireplace installer just had to hook up to the gas line placed by Arch. I highly recommend Arch plumbing for their cooperation, price, patience and work quality. Arch came out on Thursday and gave me a bid (reasonable considering my short time frame), then returned the following Monday and installed the gas line. Both (Arch & fireplace installer) came the same day and worked together very professionally. I am grateful for the peace of mind their work gave me. Thank you Arch !!! We are very happy with the excellent attention and service from Arch Plumbing. They are very nice people, too. Our water heater died on Thursday, we called around for estimates in the afternoon, and Arch Plumbing installed a new water heater by 10 o'clock the next morning! would not give a basic price over the phone for a bathroom sink faucet to be installed. Wanted to charge me $118 to come out and than give me a price. I would be stuck paying $118 even if I didn't like the bid when he saw it. It is pretty bad that they can't give a ball park price over the phone. I would never use this kind of company who's tries to make an extra $118 for their so called service call bid. read more

I feel like I was scammed, but I only have myself to blame. They don't give you any indication of their hourly or estimate of fee for a basic job. The person on the phone "doesn't know anything" - BS. All I had them do was replace a shower cartridge. $275! Seriously? It literally took them longer to fill out the bill than to do the work. They tell me they don't charge by time, only by the job. Well, I lost out on some $ and they lost out on tons of other work. I did get a small reprieve since I supplied the cartridge and the fee was "only" $235. Would have told them to take a hike, but they charge $118 just to walk in the door. Never again. read more

Horrible customer service. This company installed all of our new kitchen plumbing less than 6 months ago. The garbage disposal stopped working, so they agreed to come and look at it. The technician looked at it for all of 2 minutes, and then claimed that the Moen disposals are not good and it is a bad disposal. It's brand new! And then he proceeded to ask for the $118 service fee for the visit. We have several future projects that will require plumbing and I WILL NOT be calling Arch Plumbing. After contacting several other plumbers that were either non responsive or not interested, it was nice to find a local company that was able to get me scheduled in within the week. I had Rich from Arch Plumbing come to my home Around second week of January 2021 to give me a bid on installing a new sink, disposal and to move some water copper piping. Rich said I should receive the bid in about 4 days. After about a week, I reach out to Rich asking when should I expect the bid. I also let him know that I needed him to give me a call because I had some question about the sink. Rich sent me a text message on January 15, 2021 letting me know that I would receive the bid that afternoon. Again I asked Rich to give me a call. Rich text back to me and said, "Will do, when I get done this morning". Rich never sent the bid or gave me a call. On January 18, 2021 Rich sent me a text message saying, "I'll send you our proposal tomorrow morning. He never sent the bid nor called me. On January 19, 2021 Rich called my wife asking to come over and verify the measurements on the sink. On January 20, 2021, Rich text me saying, "I'll send over the bid later today. Rich never sent it. I text Rich on January 21, 2021 asking when I might receive the bid. Rich text me saying, "I'll have it over tomorrow morning." The bid never came. On January 22, 2021, again I reach out to Rich asking, "Will I get the bid today?" Rich text me back saying "I will get it to you first thing in the morning." I never got the bid. I text Rich letting him know that I am sick of his false promises and I will be calling the company asking for someone else to help me. On January 25, 2021, I talked to the office letting them know the lack of service from Rich and wanted someone else to work with me and send me the bid I have now been waiting for for over 2 weeks. I let the office know that I was not going to purchase the sink and have them install it so I needed them NOT to put the sink in the bid. I also let the office know that when I talked to Rich, that I wanted a 3/4" "Full Port" ball valve on my copper line and not a 3/4" standard valve. The difference between a standard ball valve and a full-port ball valve is in the size of the ball and bore in relation to the nominal pipe size of the valve. For example, the bore size in a 3/4-inch full-port ball valve is 3/4-inch in diameter, while the bore diameter in a standard ball valve is 1/2-inch in diameter. She said the sink will be off the bid and the "Full Port" ball valve will be on the bid. I did get the bid today, January 25, 2021 but on the bid it said, "Supply and install new Superior Sink 16 gauge with sound dampening pads and full spray undercoating brushed stain finish sink same size as existing sink." and "Install new ¼ turn ball valve for main water shut off." I reach out to Arch Pluming about the bid, but they never returned my call. I have never experience such poor customer service where promises were never kept and what I was wanting done never met. I have decided to go with Craftsman Pluming. I will never recommend Arch Plumbing to no one. read more
