I called AAA home services because their site offers same day or next day services. However, when you call to schedule the female that scheduling says they do not offer the service and they have no idea why it's on the website so it's very misleading. They do not work after hours they only work until 4 PM so if you work after 4 PM, you will not be able to get any home services by this company The female was very rude on the phone. I have used this company for 15+ years boy have they changed I have an under the counter ice machine. they came out looked at it for two minutes. Told me I needed a part. Ordered it $600 later they didn't even stay to make sure it was working the next day nothing still. came back out told me I needed a $1700 part and proceeded to tell me they could sell me one. I think they're more about selling appliances than fixing. they have became very rude and arrogant almost like they're annoyed to have to be here to fix your appliance. beware go somewhere else. read more

"Used" them for warranty work on my ice maker, the guy came out said they had to order a new ice maker. 3 months later and about 30 run around phone calls and the ice maker finally came in. Repair man came back a put the ice maker in, since it was ice and couldn't fully test it he left saying it was fixed and it could be 24-48 hours for it to start. Gave it the weekend and still no ice. Called to get them back to fix it and they said they couldn't come fix their mistake unless I called my warranty to set it back up... it's the same call cause you didn't fix it. Absolutely no customer service. When I asked for a manager I went straight to voice-mail and haven't heard back. All I ask is to stand behind your work, is that too much to ask? read more

Had a relatively minor issue which required partial disassembly of dryer to remove change that had lodged under drum. They came when advertised and promptly fixed the issue. 1 star for showing up. This company responds to every quote I request for plumbing and appliances in my area. Unfortunately, their technicians damage what you have, in order for a call back. 2 times. First time I used my home warranty company to service my HVAC system. The tech pulled out the air filter and it took me 3 months to realize he did not replace. He just left it sitting in the basement. 2nd visit - before looking at issue told me I needed a $709 toilet. He tried to insist I have to plunge it several times and it needed replacing I have only used a plunger 1 time about 9 months ago. That is an incident not an issue. He said he would make adjustments to stop the leak. He did and 15 minutes later $287.50. Now everyday I have to use a plunger. Why would a tech think that by making my situation worse I would use his service again. read more

I called AAA to request a plumber. They asked what the issue was, once I explained the problem, they gave me the first day they had availability. It was only a few days away. I scheduled the meeting and the plumbers arrived on time. Dave and Colin were friendly, examined the issue and created an estimate pretty quickly. Once I agreed upon the cost, they started to work. They completed the work and cleaned up after themselves. Everything worked great. I also said I had another issue which they looked at and gave me an estimate for that. Had them come out to replace outside faucet. I had opened up the wall to a 4" x 4" opening exposing where the sillcock connected to the existing plumbing. They charged me $80+ to open the drywall to 8" X12". They also charged $280 for the part and labor. It took less than an hour to do. The part could be bought at a local big box store for $50. I called the company to get the above detail of the charge. I expressed my frustration during the phone conversation to the charges that I felt were really outrageous. I understand companies need to make money, but this really felt like gouging. The only explanation I got was basically the price is the price. I will not be using them in the future. Response to Dan. Dan, I did know about the $78.50 service call charge. No issue with that. I asked when I called in if they could give me a ball park figure of what it might cost to do the work. I was told that it was not possible until the technician looked the problem over. So, when I called and talked with you you were able to provide detailed information about the call. Standard charge for sillcock, standard charge for cutting drywall. If I had been made aware of that upfront this could have been avoided in the first place. As I said, I priced a replacement 10" sillcock from Home Depot. $50 was the cost. So why was the charge for installing a part that cost d$50 so much? That is what seems like gouging to me. read more
