I tried to install it this week and my drill bit quickly got used up. I sent Chris an email asking if he knew of someone who could install it. He immediately responded and said he would install them. Later that day I got a call that he was at our home and asked if it was OK for him to install them even though we weren't home. We got home an hour later and they were installed. My custom-designed railing (64 linear feet) was hot-dip galvanized and took about six weeks from start to finish. Paul recommended a matte black finish because the hot-dip process can leave slight irregularities, but it ensures the metal will never rust. He was absolutely right--the final result is stunning. The railing was installed the day before my birthday party, and we made it just in time. All of my guests and neighbors were blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Great fab work from this shop…read more Dropped off my 2019 Tacoma back in April '23 for a CMR (cab mount relocation) and the turnaround time was quick and completed with quality install. Welds looked clean and has held strong since April. Bare metal was covered in Steel-It so I haven't seen any rust developing yet. Price was very reasonable and very competitive to other shops I had received a quote from. The shop isn't too hard to find but it's located on private property and isn't a part of an industrial area (as I was expecting). You'll be finding yourself in a neighborhood, which you'll need to walk through the front gate and into the back to let someone know you're there for some work. However, their shop is professional with tons of projects going on. Only drawback is the shop is quite far out in the hills of East County, and there's no cell reception out there, so you'll need to use their guest Wi-Fi if needing to get a Lyft/Uber. Be advised that it may take a while to find a driver to accept a ride when you're out there.

First off have been coming here for about 6 years with decent customer service…read more Came in to purchase 6 gauge standard expanded steel a few days ago. Was told over the phone that they were sold in 4x4 sheets. Got to the store and they said they could only sell it in full sheets of 4x8 (not a big deal). Ended up paying to have the 4x8 sheet cut. Got it home and realized the ends were even and the center was off by 1.75" (not even close to being straight), it was dome shaped. So 4" were wasted and I had to make two additional cuts to get it straight. Then brought it to my fabricator and it turns out it isn't even what I had ordered. It's flattened, not standard like what I ordered and confirmed (didn't know there was a difference). Came back to get the correct stuff and they said there was nothing they could do about my previous order because they had cut it. $180 down the drain for a piece that was not what I ordered and not cut straight. Not even a partial refund or anything on the next correct sheet. Had a good relationship with a few of the employees but this is the last time I do business here. UPDATE: Spoke with Shelby who provided great customer service unlike the female I had previously dealt with. Ultimately, a refund was issued and the mistake was corrected. Very disappointed that it took a bad review for them to finally correct their mistake, but am happy with the outcome.
