No pressure and took his time explaining options to me and gave me a quote. Admittedly they are not inexpensive but it's a quality product. Not sure if our HOA will approve these modern gates so I didn't want to put them through coming out to our house. I contacted Edwin and asked him to come out and fix it, but I had to contact him many times before he finally came. Unfortunately, the same problem happened again a few months later. Once again, I had to repeatedly ask him to come out and fix it. Then, a few months later, the gate stopped closing properly again. This has happened over and over for the past several years. At this point, I am emotionally exhausted from having to deal with this situation. Every time there is a problem, I have to contact him repeatedly--sometimes 10 times or more--before he will come out to address it. Now, he is completely ignoring my calls and text messages. I don't want to keep chasing him anymore. He installed both sides of the gate, but the locks were not installed identically or properly, which I believe is part of the problem. He originally promised that the gate would be covered by a lifetime warranty. Based on my experience, however, he has repeatedly failed to honor that promise. This entire experience has been extremely stressful and emotionally draining. I don't think he realizes how much stress he has caused us by repeatedly promising to fix the problem and then failing to follow through. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone who wants reliable service or someone who stands behind their work.

My deck has a lot of odd angles and was a complicated project, but Paul made everything feel easy. He was extremely communicative--texted me back right away, came out immediately to give me a quote, and always answered every follow-up question I had. It was genuinely a pleasure working with him. My custom-designed railing (64 linear feet) was hot-dip galvanized and took about six weeks from start to finish. Paul recommended a matte black finish because the hot-dip process can leave slight irregularities, but it ensures the metal will never rust. He was absolutely right--the final result is stunning. The railing was installed the day before my birthday party, and we made it just in time. All of my guests and neighbors were blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Paul is professional, reliable, and highly skilled. I would honestly ignore any one-star reviews--they do not reflect the quality of his work or service.
