My favorite part of it was looking at the old books that had beautiful bindings and leather covers. They have great prices for the books that you get and some of the titles there were relatively recent. Because they are used books I wouldn't expect any new releases to be there but you could find some great classics at a great price! The organization is a little bit confusing, but if you look up, there are a ton of signs everywhere directing you to each genre and certain authors. The service was super great as well, and we were welcome as soon as we walked in by multiple employees. Will definitely be bringing my cousin and boyfriend back eventually as it has some great items.

This is a used bookstore with so much more to offer. Beyond books, they also carry unique knick-knacks like vintage clothing, arts, journals, and other thoughtfully curated items. The overall vibe is very bohemian and relaxing, the kind of place you can wander through and instantly feel at ease. As expected with a used bookstore, there's that classic old-book/thrift store scent, which comes with the territory and adds to the charm. The space itself is quaint, organized, and really cute. The bookstore section was my favorite, such a great selection across genres including mystery, romance, banned books, crime, and more. Truly something for everyone. I ended up purchasing two books, both reasonably priced and in great condition, which made the find even sweeter. The employee working that day was super friendly and helpful, answering my questions not only about the books but also about the surrounding area, which I really appreciated. Besides a focus on mystery and thrillers, they really had most genres covered. Most of the books here ... and they claim tens of thousands of books ... are used, and are generally on consignment from somebody. So quality varies, and you might find two copies of something in very different conditions and at matching price points. That being said, the selection was exceptional and well worth investigating. The Book Rack had an especially large selection of kids books ... which was great for us. The only downside of some of these large holdings is that they aren't all classified and organized. Sometimes a certain genre will just be stacked in crates or boxes ... but don't let that dissuade you. There are treasures to be found here. I brought two books on house plants and planting in containers. I couldn't find any pies making or pound cakes baking books that were on my list but I emailed them to today to ask if any of these are available. They replied right away. Even though they didn't have the books I wanted. The customer service was great. They're willing to reserve these books if those come in. As another reviewer wrote, they seemed judgmental of those of us coming from Charlotte to visit as part of the Charlotte Book Crawl. Firstly, their very young employee Emma took it upon herself to send the painting via UPS Saturday delivery!
