Almost always a bottle neck. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 9:30pm, on Saturdays till 8pm and on Sundays from 7am to 8pm. Bottle neck and limited parking also when visiting the warehouse. We have our "set" parking space/area where there is even less traffic and almost a guaranteed parking spot for us; well not during the current construction. Service - Self service. Price - I do not check, usually a low cost leader. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 1988. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. Now you are the 5th largest retailer in the world and #10 on the Fortune 500. 804 warehouses worldwide, with 558 in the US. 1980 - IPO. 1993 - Price Club and Costco merger. 1997 - Rebrand all locations to Costco. 2024 - 132 million members.

So what lies ahead has happened in one form or another, several times. The prices are high because it's on the freeway service drive. We get that. Gas is always a bit higher in Reno but this is grossly out of line. Even if I were on empty, I'd risk getting to the next station to avoid this place. IMHO, I would push the stalled car the long haul way, to avoid the jokers that work here. With a smile I tried to explain I was here for a tank of gas and a newspaper and really wasn't interested. Every time I've been to one of these, I get a really nice greeting, the guy today was from India, very polite to everyone that walked in. I talk to him for a second, since I've been to India, he was extremely nice. I think his name was Bahn or something similar. If I am not mistaken, you can also use your Smith's card here for discounts on gas. So if you don't have a Smith's card, get one as it is definitely my favorite place to shop for all of the low price groceries.

Expect convenience store prices. Fuel costs are usually 40+ cents a gallon higher than the three membership stores in our area. Their club discount card once gave you 4 cents a gallon discount on fuel & now it's 2 cents. On October 4, 2012, Flying J Management re-entered the convenience store market with its purchase of Maverik Inc. Maverik operates more than 370 locations in the western United States.
