Finally!! Real competition on gas prices in the Jackson area. For WAY too long people have been getting gouged by .20, .30 and even .50 cents more per gallon over Sac metro area pricing. Why???? This ain't West or even East Whoville....Sac has suburbs farther away than. Jackson with lower pricing. So WELCOME AMPM! Location has the potential to be a bit of a goatscrew traffic wise should jk pricing be as good as other locations. Martell Road and Highway 49 may get slapjammied by all the customers fleeing Chevron, Safeway, et ux but then again that would make the crow point quite tasty for the legacy gas stations of Jackson. On a short trip, we swung by this AM PM for a couple energy drinks. We went to the fridge and they were all out of the drinks we wanted to get. There are obviously items in the back of the fridge that they use to stock the shelves when they go empty. We saw other drinks behind the shelves. Behind us were stacks of random energy drinks. In this display were the drinks we wanted, but they weren't cold. We went up to the cash register and asked the old lady if they had any cold ones in the fridge. We showed her the Rockstar can for an example. Her response was disgusting. Not disgusting with what she said, but she gave, which was a disgusting look. A look that someone would give when they say "Eww! Thats nasty! Get it away." She even leaned her head back a bit. All that ended with her saying no. We put the warm can in the fridge for the next person and just left. read more

I recommend not going to this location. I am local here. I have seen one person who calls it her store make up rules with other customers and today I experienced something similar. 4 coffee card stamps get you a free cup. I presented 4 coffee cards each with a stamp and asked to combine them, she looked at me like crazy and told me they had to be on one card. I have had a cashier tell me there when I forgot my card before to just bring in enough for the coffee and stamp me another card and done this at other locations. When I explained this to Rhonda and said I think you dont understand how the program works she snapped and raised her voice at me and said she had been there since day 1 and was following strict policy. I said I was going to make a complaint she told me to never come back in her store. Coffee has always been good up the street, guess they don't want, need or know how to interact with customers, so I won't be one. read more

I was in today about three pm, and I gave the young man some extra money for my gas as I was wearing gloves and did not notice the extra. The clerk {Isaiah} called to me as I had made my turn to go pump the gas. He told me I had given to much money and instantly held it up for me to see. Very unfriendly staff, I would go somewhere else to put gas, I used their machine to pay because the line was filled with construction workers on their lunch, the self serve machine took my cash, I stood in line for 15 minutes and the manager said she would help me she went and opened the machine and said well looks like it took your money (obviously). Then she proceeded to tell me that I could be lying about putting money in there so she would have to get back to me, she didnt write my number down because she couldn't find a pen so her solution was to have me "check in, in a couple days". Gassed up here yesterday early morning about 5:15am,1/9/20 and then got a fraudulent charge of $150.35 on my ATM. It was listed in my account with the same vendor ID (10923 hwy 49) as my actual gas purchase, so I'm guessing an inside job. Someone there hacking the ATM cards? One of the nicest Arco's that I have ever visited. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The car wash is the best in the area!

This location has been open for almost a year now and it's amazing! First of all, the building is beautiful. I love how loaded their inventory is. You'll find something here you'll like... For a quick snack. They also have mango-chili ICEES. Yum. A decent kitchen with many hot items. The car wash is nice too. The staff is SO SUPER COOL and so nice every single time I go here. Everyone is so happy and they look like they love their job. Definitely my go-to. I will drive out of the way to fill up here, which I do often because I drive for a living! read more

Very disappointed with the disrespectful staff. Especially Rhonda whom will argue with you eventhough she admitted she had no idea. I suggest customer service training, because clearly she missed the memo that the customer is always right (I was right but that's not the point) I understand that things aren't her fault or out of her control but she needs to learn how to talk to customers and learn how to be kind to customers because with that nasty attitude she will just keep pushing customers away. I give it one star because if you like being disrespected in front of other customers and your own children while you help pay her salary by all means enjoy this new gas station. read more

This location has a terrible reputation for its traffic flow. It can be really difficult to get in and out of. Their car wash also has a terrible history of damaging cars. My friend just had his entire back window of his LOCKED canopy smashed out and huge scratches and dents over the rest of his truck. It was literally pulling his truck up and down before it smashed it out. They didn't even offer to give him his money back for the car wash. Now, AMPM is going after him for loss of revenue for having the car wash shut down, but it is still up and running today (this happened yesterday!) No thanks AmPm, I'm going to Safeway or John's Pit Stop up the road! read more

Their car wash fucked my vehicle up and left a bunch of fine scratches from the brushes. Business refused to help me let alone give a refund after I paid money to have my vehicle damaged. This place has horrible customer service and deserves to be shut down. Don't go here unless you wanna have your shit fucker up. read more

I was inside the store buying food when I attempted to use their mustard dispenser. The mustard discharged out the top and front, leaving mustard on my face and shirt. That in itself was not ideal but then the cashier laughed and stated the mustard container had been doing that. No apology. No comped food. Just a laugh. The car wash has shattered toner cover rear windows, ripped side mirrors off and pulled windshield wipers off of vehicles as well. The staff are friendly but unresponsive to these issues. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, the pump took my $20 bill and did not give me gas . So the kid who works there is slowly texting his manager to see what he can do after "making sure she's not driving and she's home " They have me fill out a form and told me to come back in two weeks when the bank comes to open the box to see if there is an extra $20 in there as if I would lie about this !! Meanwhile my gas light is on and it's 100 degrees outside, spent 30 minutes after getting off work dealing with this bs customer service . I've never had such an experience with a gas station. i went to the ampm in martell california saturday february 10th. i got a car wash and the brush on the drivers side in the back majorly scratched up my vehicle. the manager cassidy said they are not reponsible any damage done to any vehicle that comes through there car wash. i will take this to court if i have to. do not get your car washed here at ampm unless you want damage done to your vehicle. they were very rude when i tried explaining what happened and they kept saying that they are not going to fix or take care of anything. what a unbelievable experience i had there at ampm on my first visit. read more
