Right around the time I need to fill up my car, my mini trash can is also full. I always use gas station trash can and it's usually a pain point when the cans are full. But this station had pretty clear cans and it was obvious they had been changed out regularly which I appreciated. I was delighted to see purell dispensers at each pump, but it looked like they hadn't been filled in quite some time. I am the type of person that completely cannot stand these gas stations that offer cheaper rates for customers who pay cash and normally I don't even waste my time stopping. I mean, who carries cash anymore anyways and especially at the gas station. No one wants to lock up their car and leave it at the pumps while they go inside the store and wait in a line and finally pay what is probably more than the car will take just so that they can walk back into the store and wait in line again to get their change. Am I right? People want to pull up the pump. Jump out and get gas and then be on their way. Anyways, back to my review. I got gas and decided to opt in for the deluxe car wash in order to make my price per gallon go down. So instead of paying $24.00 just for fuel, I ended up paying $34.00 for fuel and a car wash. Makes sense doesn't it? This service station is an old one and the new owners haven't done any upgdates to the facility. They offer the car wash and since I bought the middle of the road one for $10.00, they pressure sprayed my car down with soap and then took brushes to it before I ever even entered the automatic wash. Basically, my car got washed twice but I have to admit that it turned out way better than if I had just taken it through an automatic wash someplace else. This is just an immigrant family trying to live the American dream by owning a gas station but I feel like they have a long way to before they are up to par with most other area stations. The entire time that I was putting fuel into my car, the attendant was sitting in the booth between the pumps just staring at me and that was pretty uncomfortable. He was also the guy who helped me at the car wash with one other guy. I think they both are the only ones running things so if they are tied up at the car wash, you'll have to wait for help at the pump or visa versa. The manager Sergio took his time to look for it; he gave me two dollars to go buy, new screws; and, he gave me a plate holder to put it my license plate plates. I have never encountered such a professional manager at Brown beer. He was very personable; easy to talk to; and a genuine care for customers. One would think he went above and beyond, but it seems to be the norm for him. Definitely knows how to diffuse a situation. I wasn't even upset, but he went out of his way and I greatly appreciate him!
