At all of my visits, I received outstanding customer service. My most recent visit, my license plate screws somehow fell off in the wash. The manager Sergio took his time to look for it; he gave me two dollars to go buy, new screws; and, he gave me a plate holder to put it my license plate plates. I have never encountered such a professional manager at Brown beer. He was very personable; easy to talk to; and a genuine care for customers. One would think he went above and beyond, but it seems to be the norm for him. Definitely knows how to diffuse a situation. I probably use this carwash about fifty times. I have a white audi that for some reason the birds are attracted to. The vacuums are free and there's towels and sprays to white town after. Greatest establishment. Easy and affordable. read more

-Went into the Kent car wash on 8/2/2023 with our new truck. -Noticed significant scratches on the hood & passenger side panel. - brought truck back to car wash & manager said he can't see evidence of the scratches before or after the car wash. He said he didn't think the car wash would make those kind of scratches. He said he could offer $100 towards a buff job. - took truck to collision business and they said it is from the car wash. Is there a way to tell when someone had been thru a Brown Bear car wash? Yes, there is. Sometimes you'll see blue tape on their back windshield wiper or they have the Bear air freshener on their rearview mirror. I guess you could say I'm a fan. Been visiting Brown Bear car washes all over the region since I was a kid. Remember those All Star Auto Glass commercials with Mariners pitcher Jamie Moyer talking about those 12 free car washes? They were pretty goofy. My cousin's school was doing a fundraiser and I bought a bunch of his Brown Bear coupons. This particular location in Kent is so busy on sunny days. It gets backed up to W Valley Hwy even though they have 2 lines going. It's a smaller location compared to the one on Grady Way in Renton but at least they have a Brown Bear in Kent. Staff is always friendly and they do their best to keep the lines moving efficiently. read more

Unbelievable! This car wash caused extensive damage to my car. Dented and scratched my passenger door and tore my front bumper halfway off. As upsetting as this is, accidents do happen, but the part that makes it worse is when I addressed the issue to one of the employees she told me it was MY fault! The machine even damaged the car behind me. I have pictures and am definitely filing. Buyer beware. I will NEVER return. My husband's car is filthy dirty he washes it twice a year. And anytime I drive it I like to have it washed. We pull up to One of the two lines to wash the vehicle. There's a really nice lady who stands outside and describes anything for us that we do not understand and makes recommendations if we ask her. I told her my car was really dirty and she said that if we felt the car was still dirty after we went through the car wash that we could run it through again for free. That was cool. I Paid for my car wash and moved forward. Another really nice lady had a paddle in her hand that Gave us the expected direction of when we should go which way to turn if we're outside the lane or inside the lane. Put your car in neutral and let the conveyor move your vehicle through the car wash. Inside there were multiple color lights which was entertaining with itself. When we got to the end of the car wash I was surprised at how clean it was. I really didn't want to take the time to run the car through the car wash again but it only needed a little bit more cleaning. It looked 80% better than it was. I was just happy it didn't look disgusting anymore. I would definitely go here again. It was one of the best carwashes I've ever been to, I especially love the fact that I didn't have to get out of my car. read more

I have the monthly membership which allows me to stop by at any Brown Bear Car Wash and I love it. I love keeping our truck clean so it's very easy to quickly stop by. This particular day was pretty busy so we had a bit of a wait, which we don't mind. At other locations I usually get a wet towel that we use inside as we are going through the car wash but at this location I was told they only had the wet towels available after you exit the car wash tunnel. Usually at other locations they scrub our back window before going in but I'm not sure if they forgot or they just don't do that at this location but we weren't scrubbed. I wasn't going to get off and get a wet towel because it was pretty busy. Lots of people drying and cleaning out their cars everywhere. I do like to clean the inside with the towels just so it's not so dusty, so I decided I might as well vacuum since I was already having to get off for the wet towel. The vacuum machine worked good. We also used the shampoo machine, It had a great refreshing smell and worked great. I was very pleased with that machine. Overall this location is good, I'm thinking I'll have one of my kids get off first and get a couple of wet towels first before going in the car wash. read more

This by far is the best Brown Bear automatic car wash I've been to. I've probably used it 30 times by now and each time I've been very happy. Easy to get in and out of, however on a nice day and in summer it can back out onto the street. Even if there is a line it moves fast as they have two pay point gates. If you're in a truck use the LEFT LANE otherwise you may have to jockey aroubd the immediate right turn to the wash building. I have a 3/4 ton extended cab and if using the left side I can make an easy turn and make it. If you get gas at the Chevron you can pay for your wash at that time and just enter the code at one of the gates. Also this station usually has a good price so to fuel and get a wash at the same time/location is great. read more

This is probably my favorite location to get my car cleaned and wash. I used the monthly unlimited membership deal and have never had an issue. The sticker placed at the front of my car wasn't registering at first, but they were able to adjust it and locate it on the side since my car was small. Hehe But it's always fast, convenient and friendly service. Even when the lines are usually long on the weekends or those beautiful sunny days... yet it still goes by fairly quick! I like this car wash a lot for the price, efficiency and amenities that offer that I've yet to find any where else. This is a standard wash machine(not touch less). With three options of clean starting at $6. They also have an option for monthly memberships with unlimited car washes. Idk any one who washes their car that often, but if that fits your fancy by all means. As crowded as this little corner gas station gets these employees hustle to move the line especially if some one at the digital pay stations just doesn't understand(and there's always one). Good job guys! My favorite part however is when you pull out of the wash you can park it and they have a station with towels and a window cleaner spray for you to clean out the inside of your car as well. And get the the little spots the giant mopping machine simply can't do. Complete with a vacuum station that takes additional quarters and a giant trash bin. Also per a standard gas station there's a tire pump. This a full service stop for your car. One knock however is those same extras I adore so much have lately been lacking. The spray bottle turns up missing all the time. They have been out of the car fresheners as of late. I've been spoiled and it's disappointing. read more

After visiting Texas, and experiencing their car washes down there, I find Brown Bear to be below average, at best. The owner of BB should be worried if they ever think of coming up here. They'd probably put them out of business. In Texas, the wash tunnels are 3 times as long...yes, I said 3 times as long. Also, the vacuums that run continuously....and they are FREE. Yes, FREE. And, if it can get any better...if this Texas business is not too busy, and you have two persons in the car, you can use both vacuums on each side of the car and vacuum twice as fast....for FREE. Your car comes out superbly clean, even in those weird "dirt shadow" areas all cars seem to have. I've never had problems with the employees at the Kent location, but the ones in Seattle on Elliot - don't even get me started. I work near this location and would have purchased the monthly washes when they first came out, but decided against it because of these smug SOB's. I even think one of them scratched my back window with their diamond ring when I had to ask him to scrub before entering the tunnel, but just try and prove it.... But, anyhoooo, I find Brown Bear to be average, if not below average. Because once you've been to Texas...jeepers creepers, it just does not compare. My car is never fully clean when I exit. I am new to the state of Washington. Where I am originally from we have "hand car washes" so I'm used to my car getting extra care and detailed cleaning. Brown Bear is ok I guess if you want the dirt knocked off your car. So if you don't mind a half done wash job this is the place to go. I opted for the most expensive wash, the attendant stood behind my car with a brush and literally just swiped my bumper before I was lead into the " wash". My car wasn't spotless clean but it looked better than it did before. I don't like these kind of car washes and I don't recommend them to anyone. read more

I have been going to this location because I work nearby. Today was "free car wash" day and I was in line. Of course, it was going to be a bit busy but the people directing traffic were like high school kids who probably do not drive yet. I was next to get my wash and my tires were obvious not in the proper position but I followed the young workers directions, accelerated a little, put my car in neutral and waited. Car pulled forward on its own, stopped, then the car behind me rear-ended me. Workers rushed frantically to tell me to drive out of the soapy machine. When I pulled out, one of the workers had the audacity to say it was my fault! He said my foot must have been on the break. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Now Im filing through my insurance company and I WILL NOT take responsibility for something that was clearly not my fault. Come on Brown Bear, you have to have something in place for incompetent workers who make mistakes! I will NEVER go to this brown bear let alone gas station again and I am letting everybody I know what a horrible experience I had. If you want to avoid a head, DON'T go to this car wash. read more

The car wash itself isn't bad, however, they only have four stations for vacuuming and people camped out to detail their car even after they've vacuumed. There's nobody on duty that will go over and ask them to relocate to finish detailing their car. read more

If I could rate them zero I would I'm a regular customer at Brown Bear however I noticed right away after getting my car washed my seahawks front license plate came off and I asked the guy to look for it he was rude and told me they wasn't going to stop the car wash to look for one plate I immediately made a police report and called their cooperate office here it is a few days later and still no response I would recommend another location if you are a regular customer this location has terrible customer service and no care for their customers. read more
