Ok, I'm going to go against the grain with everyone else regarding this place. I didn't stop here to fill up on gas, but rather to take a much needed restroom break and to get a snack. I was driving to the city of Redland from West LA, so it was a welcome break. This gas station is located between the freeway and a small road. A tall mountain sits across the street from this place, which made for some dramatic scenery. I parked at the pump, and asked to use the restroom. The cashier told me I needed to buy something, so I bought a small bottle of water. I went around back with the key, and entered a well-maintained restroom. It smelled like they sprayed cologne in there. Nice! When I came back to the cashier to return the key, I decided to buy a Mazapan (a type of Mexican treat). The cashier was a pretty cool guy, and I very much appreciate this place for providing me with what I needed. I cannot speak for the gas prices, as I did not pay attention to them nor did I fill up here. But everything else was fine. read more

The wife and I had just finished a much enjoyed Dinner on the hill at the Pomona Valley Mining Co. As I carefully descended the hill I noticed the ARCO sign and the ridiculously higher than average prices. I mean these are prices I'm use to seeing in Baker, CA or Needles, CA. I'm a sucker for pumping gas here, assuming the price was like any other and assuming ARCO was cheaper than any other gas stations, because this place, unlike any other ARCO, charges a dollar more than typical gas shops. I would advise anyone pumping gas here to think again and check the price before pumping your gas, otherwise, you'll end up pumping gas $15 to $20 over your intended amount. Insane. I was here on 8/21/14 and the prices are still the same as the picture on here. I didn't realize the prices until I already had started the pump. The glare of the sun kept me from seeing the prices on the gas pump. I needed gas, I saw an ARCO and didn't think about looking for prices since typically its cheaper at ARCO and I wasn't in the middle of nowhere...then I looked up at the sign as I was filling up and said "Oh $hI+". The funny thing was the attendant walking around sweeping the ghost town and looking at me like I was going to rob him as revenge for robbing me. This Arco closes their bathroom at 7pm, except I was there at 6:50pm. And they denied me entry. Could have cared less how long everyone is stuck in traffic. They are rude, and I recommend any other gas station. And yes, I purchased gas, but even if I didn't, show some common decency. Bad Service. And horrible attention by the workers here. There was a woman with blonde dyed hair, and a heavier set man that both denied to give me their identification and hid the name tags. On this day my friends tire popped and we had to pull in their parking to replace the tire. It was raining and weren't going to take long. The man said we couldn't do that and was in his phone the whole time. The woman was underneath the counter when I went inside to ask for air, but she pretended to have not seen me. I'm really disappointed by their actions because I know not all of the employees here will act that way. And will be even more considered under the type of weather we were in. I recently drove from the Moreno Valley area and had enough fuel to get me into Los Angeles county. I made the huge mistake of stopping at this place. They charge an additional dollar per gallon. All four grades were priced an additional dollar. Do yourselves a a huge favor and do not fill-up here. You will pay dearly. I will never, ever, stop at this place. Totally and complete RIP-OFF ! I was on my way home from school and needed gas so I told Siri to locate the nearest Arco, and this bitch sent me to this Arco that I will never again return in my life.
