Power Mortgage started off great promising me several things. Some of those things came true, they…read moregot me money back on a re-fi and got me close to the interest rate they said they would. But a few things did not go as they said it would and ended up costing me money. They promised from the beginning since I was a veteran I would get my appraisal fee back. This never happened. There were several credit cards on the re-fi that were supposed to be paid off. All but one was paid and I could never get an answer why the last one wasn't paid. I was also promised to skip 2 payments. When I was signing I noticed the first payment was only a month away. I immediately called the person I'd been working with. He assured me that would be fixed and I would get to skip the second month's payment. Throughout the next month I texted and called that same person and was always reassured it would be taken care of. It never happened. When it came time for the payment he ghosted me and of course I made my mortgage payment. I even called them, spoke with a different person and tried to get these things handled and got nowhere and was ghosted again. These things left a very bad taste in my mouth with Power Mortgage.

There was a small issue that I required some assistance with and I have left voice mails emails for a month and no response. I called the other members for the power mortgage team and nothing back I reached out to their parent company mortgage architects they are trying to help but still no response. I have submitted an official complaint to the Financial Services commission of Ontario, the complaint is under review. The sad part is I reached to my Lawyer, and we came to a solution in about 10 min. If Power Mortgage had responded to my multiple pleads for a response they would have gotten 4 starts STAY AWAY FROM POWER MORTGAGES THEY WILL GET YOUR MORTGAGE AND NEVER CALL YOU BACK !!!!!

Well, Luis...hopefully you understand that a bad review last longer than an informative phone call to help help a consumer become more educated in your field of expertise. Next time someone calls, my advice is to make they feel important and comfortable in taking their next step in a major decision they are making.
