The train tracks that used to belong to TJ Moore are no longer in use, and the store doesn't seem as busy, which is sad in a way. You'll be able to find your lumber, and parts for fixing things around the house. It's not on the scale of Home Depot, so don't have real grand ideas coming here. The aisles are easy to navigate and the store is quiet, if you're shopping for basic home improvement items in a no frill place it's here.

He is a great salesman. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. When I wanted to roam around by myself, he let me. When I had questions, he was there to answer them. He always shared his knowledge on why and why not. If you are ready to purchase, I would look for him. The only thing you need to be careful about these guys is the prices. I saw this beautiful sofa/love seat set for $2400. If you love it, the price should not matter with 48 months no interest plan, theoretically. Frankly speaking, it does sting a little when you find the exact same product for $1500 and free shipping. This deal was only available in Chicago and North East area, but still, you realize they have a huge profit margin that they are working with. I strongly believe that the store and the salesman should make money off of your purchase. Just not $1000 for an item.

So, I ordered it. Three days later it is here. I will pick it up on Monday. No transfer fees. No driving to a distant "metro area" to pick it up.
