Garbage truck driver refused to come down and collect our 2 yd dumpster. Fed GFL a bunch of lies about having to back down our lane. No truck has ever had to back down our lane. Our barnyard is large enough to turn a semi. I still have not had a pick up. Think twice about their service. They are not reliable.

Randomly, out of nowhere, they just stopped picking up the cardboard boxes I put out. When I called to ask, the person that answered got all flustered and said that she didn't know why they picked up before then stopped. She told me that I could bring the cardboard and drop it off for free, but I told her it didn't make sense that it was picked up for 18 years then just stopped. Then she got even more frustrated when I told her to just charge me, that I didn't care as long as they picked up. She then further showed her backside and said that they had new rotations and maybe someone was just doing me a "solid" by picking them up before and now they are getting in trouble for it. Whatever.... this place needs some serious customer service retraining. I am paying customer that called in to offer to pay more and got treated like I was 3rd rate citizen putting out too much garbage and putting square cardboard boxes (broken down) outside the round cans that they don't fit inside. I guess it's time to start looking for a better service. I don't mind paying for better service, if I can find it. Otherwise, I will treat them the same way they just treated me.

Rick, the owner, was very helpful in meeting our timeline. To be sure we had the dumpster by Saturday morning, he delivered it on Friday. We did fill the first dumpster by Noon and called to order a second one. No problem. He arrived in a short time. Then, before taking the first dumpster away, he and his crew helped us load some heavy things into the second dumpster and gave us tips on how best to pack the remaining space. The pricing was very clear. The delivery and pick-up were prompt and professional. The extra service provided was amazing. Such a blessing to have such a high-quality family business in the area! I recently called Haul It Off to help me clear out my mother's house. I only had a few days left in…read moretown and they kindly fit me into their schedule. Most household items and the furniture were sold already but I still had things to keep. I sectioned off my keep piles and told them everything else goes. I grew up in the house and my mom lived there for nearly 50 years! She loved Christmas, crafts, sewing and gardening. The basement and garage were full of projects and scraps. Rick and his very helpful sons came in and hauled all the extra stuff to the dumpster they provided. They were done in a couple hours. It would have taken me days of painful effort to load the dumpster myself, plus they know how to load it efficiently. They were careful about moving things out and very respectful and polite. I enjoyed working with them. I was able to pay for their service with the money from the garage sales and had plenty left. They gave me an accurate estimate before they came. I highly recommend Rick and Haul It Off in Clinton! (And once the house was finally cleaned out it sold in less than a week!)
