Ours was delivered last week by two men, one of which was extremely rude to me and my family members as soon as they arrived (2 hours late). Complained about the job, accused us of being unprepared (took off work and moved stove and cabinetry out of kitchen). He was referring to our need to remove the doors of the fridge to get it in the house -we told Menards we would need to do this and they assured us it would be no problem. His partner left during the delivery because "time is money". He tried to do it alone and nearly dropped the fridge and then he dented our stove with the old one. We asked him to please call his partner back and he said that the waiver I signed meant he could "damage whatever he wanted". Repeatedly said "I should leave this on your front porch" and "you're lucky I'm still here". Demanded extra cash on top of what we prepaid. Ultimately the partner (who was kind and apologetic) returned and they were able to bring it in no problem. My husband did at least 50% of the work bringing in doors and removing the old fridge while he sat on his phone and complained. We asked them to leave without installing because of his behavior and attitude. Menards refunded us and said they have had similar complaints before. Will never hire or recommend. I feel bad for the apologetic partner, he probably could've done a good job without the other guy!

Absolutely the worst business. Booking the move was the only good part, pleasant on the phone,…read morewent over a detailed list of the stuff we had. I even called back and added some major items to the list so they would be prepared. I asked if they come and look first, no, no need for that, we are all set. ok? I said this is a large move they were going to send two trucks and four guys and I wanted to get going early, so 7 am was the time. They call the night before (Monday), they wanted to start at 8am instead "because we have a large move and the guys are tired", sure come at 8 but be ready. So moving day comes and we have our beds taken apart, a ton of boxes and we are waiting... now they are like 13 minutes away on google maps, but it took them about 30 just to show up, and with only one truck? So the head guy ( I guess since he had a clipboard) comes in and looks around and immediately goes outside to get on the phone. No second crew shows up either, what is going on? So this guy finally comes back and just says 'we refuse to move you' like that's a thing? Said we have too much stuff, that's the job! Just refused...and left. That's it. No call from Kenney's, nothing. Worst ever. They should be out of business to do this to people. Website says they take the stress out of moving, total crap, I have hardly ever had more stress. And then having to arrange another mover (see my other review, was actually a great experience). Obviously these guys don't want to work and wanted a day off I guess, whatever. Can tell they don't have vested interest in their job which is to move families. Pro tip-= I should have read these reviews on Yelp because I would have know what we were in for! They have been in business over 70 years, but it won't be many more with the crappy way they run things. Avoid Kenney's at all costs and tell all your friends and relatives the same. Terrible.

It's been a year since I've used their service to load a Penske truck and I'm just now at the point…read morewhere I can write the review without vomiting four letter words all over the page. We packed all of our items into boxes but decided to hire movers to load the truck for various reasons: 1) we thought they would be faster 2) we thought they would be more efficient 3) We thought they tetris the boxes better 4) Boxes are heavy :) 5) we have two little kids that could get under foot, so my wife could leave early and I would follow her in the truck After calling a couple of places we decided on Kenny's as they appeared to be the cheapest and were the most local. They quoted us that it would take approximately 3 hours (they charged by the hour) and they would arrive between 8-10am. 10am rolled around and they did not show up. After a few phone calls we figured out they were finishing another job and would be there around 11. They arrived at noon and you could tell were completely exhausted and worn out, I felt awful for them. Anyway they started loading and after about an hour I could tell this was going to take a long time so I started carrying boxes myself. They finished around 5pm nearly doubling the cost of the movers. I had a long drive ahead of me and was expecting to be on the road much earlier plus I'm now exhausted having worked for most of the day even though I was paying someone to do it for me. As we were loading, I kept noticing things that looked off, for example they put my table in the truck and loaded boxes under and on top of it. I told them it would be better to flip the table (it was just a cheap ikea table) and stack stuff on top of it. They also loaded boxes onto my couch. They assured me they knew what they were doing and everything would be fine. When we got to our destination, the table had collapsed, the couch had 6 holes in it. Not a single piece of furniture was undamaged. The amount of damage caused by the careless way they loaded my truck could have easily paid for a full service moving company that would have packed and moved my stuff. Anyway I was extremely unhappy with their service and hope this review helps prevent someone else from making the same mistake I made.

I asked the man kindly to move his truck to the other side of the road or to park in front of the house he was working for and he told me he would "in a few" I then explained that I had to go to work soon and would not be able to leave if he put the truck back where it was. He told me " just come grab me." I told him I did not feel it was my responsibility to come get him to move the truck when he was not parked on the right side to begin with. He said he could park where he wanted and continued back into my neighbors house. I ended up having to call the police to get him to move the truck at all and he only moved it because he knew he was wrong. He also had no cones out warning cars of the truck, until I called. He still parked in front of my drive way but left my anointing neighbors driveway open just enough for me to fit. The point is I shouldn't have even had to call them in the first place I asked him multiple times to please move his truck before I called the police and asked the neighbors to request they move it as well. (Not sure if they did or not) highly unprofessional and do not recommend.

They came out and looked at all we wanted moved and listed it all and gave us a good estimate. We had a couple weeks to change items (some ended up selling with the house) and with those changes in place we awaited moving day. I don't know how to explain how great these guys were. They wrapped our items so nicely in blankets to avoid any damage. They were friendly and personable and way nicer to my 14yr old that kept asking them questions than they had to be. They didn't even grumble when I asked them to rearrange items when they got to the new house because I changed my mind where they should go. Best of all they moved a 300lb safe from a basement to another basement and tried their darnedest to get a standing freezer into the new house basement (unfortunately the logistics just didn't work). Estimate came in a lot lower than we expected too. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat !!!

Unfortunately, our experience with this moving company was very disappointing…read more During the packing process, I had to repeatedly follow staff around to make sure things were actually being packed. Items were left behind in closets, kitchen items were missed, and overall there was a lack of attention to detail. We were also told that our toiletries were "too much" and they would not take them, and they refused to take unopened, brand-new laundry detergent. Communication became another major issue. We were notified less than 24 hours in advance that delivery would be taking place at 8:00 a.m. at our new home. We contacted ownership and simply asked if delivery could be moved to noon because my flight was not landing until 9:00 a.m. and my husband would arrive later that day. Instead of working with us, Angie was rude and stated that we already knew when they would be there. That was incorrect -- she appeared to be referring to the packing schedule, not delivery. I explained our travel situation and tried to communicate in advance. The next morning, I received a message stating they were signing paperwork as "customer not present" and leaving the load at the house. To make matters worse, we discovered damage and missing items: * One dresser was damaged * Another dresser was left laying on its side * Our Tempur-Pedic bed arrived missing wires/components * A decorative statue was damaged Moving is stressful enough, and we expected better communication, more care with our belongings, and basic customer service. Unfortunately, this was not a smooth or positive
