He quoted me 1000 bucks which I thought was fare. I called him back in September of this year for a quote to prune that same tree and he recommended removal instead of pruning it due to safety. He quoted me 3k which I had no issue with told him I needed to wait a couple of months to save up. I called him about a few weeks later and asked him if he would still be able to do the job around the 4th of November he accepted but said it might not be that exact day but he could do the job. I reached out to Eddy on October 27th to see if he had a day in mind he would be able to do the job he texted me back and said I don't think we will be a good suit for you . I'm like so you wait til the week of the job to tell me you can't do it???? Very unprofessional!!!! I also called him weeks prior and asked him how he removes the tree I'm not sure if I offended him but I wanted to know if he used a boom truck etc. He sounded like he was irritated every time I called him. He called again and quoted $1400 so I agreed and told him that I wanted the estimate in writing. He insisted on having my email address to send the estimate and stated that he would not sell my information. Days pass and there is no estimate. He texted and asked if it would be okay if he came on Sunday around 8 or 9 to do the job. I said that was okay and he promised a written estimate before work began. He never showed up on Sunday. He texted Monday and said that he was busy with other customers on Sunday and maybe next weekend. If he had called that day I may have given him another chance but he's the one that set the appointment and I rearranged my schedule to accommodate him. I consider him unreliable and would not hire him and told him that I would find someone else. My email then exploded with spam messages. I guess he does sell information.

I watched the entire time from a house mounted camera. Service was preformed in 50 minutes for my house and 20 minutes for my sisters home. I called to complain. The receptionist just said I didn't know how hard they worked. I also received a call from an unknown man, who was too busy yelling into the phone that he never gives quotes or hourly rates? So how do they do their billing? Evidently make it up as they go. He called my disabled sister too screaming he is putting liens on our property if we don't pay. Wow. Running away. Who in their right mind thinks that $701.03 is a fair or reasonable cost and who would agree to that price?

William (Bill) Swawell of Servicemaster was one of the few people who returned my calls and did me the service of coming out to inspect the space despite the miasma. He and his team did a great job processing large quantities of garbage and biohazard waste but were sensitive and careful enough to pick out all of the treasures (ie old family photos, important documents, even loose change) buried amongst it. He has stayed involved with clean up projects and helping me to manage a lot of work that still needs to happen at the house; it is essential to have someone I can trust doing this work since I am out of state and cannot directly supervise. Bill has earned my trust for the quality of his work and equally important his honesty; he refunded the unspent portion of our initial deposit down to the penny. I hope you don't need ServiceMaster...it's a disaster mitigation service and no one wants a disaster. But when (not if) disaster hits you will want a team like Bill and ServiceMaster DSI involved in putting your life, home, and/or business back in order.
