I can't give rate this because I had with my granddaughter the worse experience with this salon. I took my granddaughter because she hade more than 2 colors on her hair so she explained to the stylist that that took her what she wanted to have done on her hair and the lady said that it could be done but it would take a 4 to five hours because she needed to bleach the hair probably various times to get the blond color she wanted and charged us $250.00. When I went to pick my girl up her hair wasn't even close to what she wanted, it was medium to dark brow NOT blond. The owner ARELIS is never there, and she drops everything to the employees, it has been almost a month and still no response. I keep calling and their excuse is that they need to wait for the owner's answer. So I now want my money back because it was a service NOT done correctly and I not even aske for the money back all I wanted was for them to do what we went there for and give the color she wanted. If her hair is damage is ok, they don't have to take that decision for us, so since they didn't do anything NOW, I DO WANT MY MONEY BACK. read more

let start with I was a regular been coming here for years but I only really wanted to Alta to touch my hair , however is always busy or very selective on who she can take .... I came in pretty early I believe and I was seen hours later i remember leaving when they where closing and I was basically one of the first batch of people .....and I waited because the quality is usually worth it ... however this last experience was the last of Ariel's for me ..... you guys work in a English based area it'll be nice to speak wnglish especially when it comes to adding chemicals and cutting hair .... im a black woman I have kinky curly coily hair ..... I don't use chemicals at all I just wash , and add oils my hair has never been damahe'd which leads to me to believe that the chemicals that were put in my head was very similar to a perm ... I didn't req and I actually set under the dryer for least 3 hrs with this chemical in my head ,...... the dresser was succors friendly she over cut my ends to the point she was chopping my hair then it wasn't even at alll ...... now my hair is severely damaged and it has made my self esteem go down badly like I went from loving my hair to completely hating it to the point I need to chop it off thanks to Ariel salon ..... I paid $75 plus a tip for my hair to look unhealthy .....I do not recommend this salon unless they learn how to walk and talk ... tell the client exav why you're doing while youre doing it instead of treating us like paid lab rats ... im hitting twitter with my hair journey as well as tic tok because I called several times with being hung up on or them acting as if they don't speak English read more

No I'm very pissed off i came in with bright red hair because obviously i wanted to be a red head they washed all my color out it's dusty pink and just ugly but that's not the issue i Lowkey expected that what I'm most pissed off about is the fact that i get blowouts often I'm from Atlanta in Atlanta it's $50 and my blowout usually last about 5 days man y'all i kid you not as soon as i got home my whole head is poofed up and i spent $80 on this for it not to even last the car ride home on top of that the stylist didn't even care to style my hair didn't even ask what side my part goes on or anything like I'm sooooo mad cause i spent $140 this day $40 for Uber there and back and $80 on something i literally could've done myself when i flat iron my own hair it poofs back up like this when i go pay people that means i expect perfection like now i gotta just go back to Atlanta to get a $50 blowout that will actually last orlando really trippin with these prices and the work don't match I'm super pissed read more

Overpriced. So so service. The owner blew out my hair. I thought that would be the best person because it's her business. Nope! She took huge chunks at a time leaving some hair wavy. I visited this salon this morning and was very pleased. I asked for a haircut and a blow out. Elsi evened out my hair and gave me beautiful long layers. She also really took her time to make sure my roots were straight because I have very thick curly hair. I would definitely recommend if you live in the area! read more

I love this salon. I have been to many Dominican salons and this one is wonderful. It is located on the corner or Hiawassee and 50 in a shopping center behind Taco Bell and across from 7 11. it is a simple shop not highly decorated but I don't care about that. They do a phenomenal job with hair. I have seen miracles performed with people. One thing that sets them very apart from other Dominican salons is there is not a lot of use of high heat. The products are top notch. My hair always feels soft and silky and looks great after. Alta is the manager and also the stylist I recommend. She is from New York and really takes great time and care with your hair. The prices are very reason all and yes it is a Dominican salon so the main language is Spanish but Alta understands me very well. I can't say enough about this place. I have seen very blond straight hair to ultra kinky short amazing services performed. Highly recommend!!! Typical wash style with deep conditioner included is $35. read more

I have been going to Arelis for the past 7 years and Alta has been my stylist ever since. I first went to her when my previous stylist was on vacation and I was so happy that I stayed with her. Alta is the absolute best stylist that's ever done my hair. Before her, my hair had been so damaged. For the past 7 years, my hair has been so healthy and long that I get so many compliments. I have sent everyone that compliments my hair, family, friends and they all have been so happy that they stay. I can't imagine anybody else doing. 4 stars for friendly employees, convenient scheduling, and extremely reasonable pricing! I came here after reading Veronica J.'s review, and I'm very glad I did! I need a keratin treatment ASAP, and I wasn't thrilled with where I had gone last time. I also didn't want to spend $300. Groupon was no help, so I had resolved to just bite the overpriced bullet and find somewhere nearby. However, I couldn't find a ton of reviews on keratin quality even at pricey locations. Eventually, I found Arelis! It's not the type of salon I usually frequent, but it was a very easy experience. I called a day in advance and was able to just show up the next day around the time I had suggested (they didn't require a particular time). My keratin treatment was $150 (regular pricing, not a discount/groupon, etc.) and my stylist did a great job! The prices for keratin start at $70 and then go up depending on the length and thickness of your hair. Just a heads up, only the main stylist/owner speaks English. My stylist was very friendly, but didn't speak any English. I tried out my basic Spanish, but I don't think that she was thrilled with my attempts, lol. Also, the location is just a very basic spot in a mediocre plaza. I knew this in advance and it didn't bother me, but don't come here if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. I just moved to the area and I'm trying to find a new hairstylist. The reviews for this place looked promising and they use the products I do so I figured I'll check it out. I have relaxed hair and I'm stretching my relaxer. I went for a wash and set and blow out. It took 4 hours and my roots are still super curly. 3 women came in after me (I made an appointment) and left before I did. It was clear the stylists knew them and chatted with them the entire time. 2 stylists there but only one does your hair. The other sits on her phone or talks to the receptionist. I sat under the dryer for a deep conditioner for 1 hour then 1.5 hours after with nothing being done. Never going back there. read more

Very disappointed. Roaches everywhere. The place was dirty and the one chick I think her name was Alta was very ghetto and talking about the African American girls hairs in Spanish right in front of them, of course they didn't understand. People had made appts and were left there to wait while the girls took other people because they were so unorganized. I was so upset I left before I even got my hair done. I do NOT recommend this place one bit. There are many other salons that not only are they cleaner and more organized but have much classier hairdressers and have better products. Altagracia (Alta) has been my hair stylist for 6 years. I moved to Orlando from Michigan and was referred to her by my best friend, Stephanie who is still a client of Alta's! Alta is perfect for hair maintenance which is shat is important for me because I am a weekly client. She has a special skill of repairing unhealthy hair and growing it to its maximum potential. My hair has never grown as long as it has under Alta's care. She is great with relaxers, colors, and natural hairstyles. Even with strong products Alta guards hair from too much heat and over-processing! I was so happy to hear that most of her training was done in New York City, New York. Came into the salon today with a head full of tangles, kinks and curls. Got the keratin by Alta and she did an amazing job. I've gone to a Dominican salon before and would always clinch when the blow dryer came out but she was gentle and handled my tender head well!
