It was my first time at moonlight and had Ren. She was so sweet and did a great job with my nails. A full set with gel took about one hour. They offer different services, like waxing, and have plenty of chairs. They also had Christmas decorations up already which was a nice touch. I will definitely be visiting again! read more

I found this place because of the Yelp reviews and showed up without an appointment on a whim. I was a little unsure at first but was floored at the attention to detail and how accommodating and kind every employee was. One of the best pedicures I've ever had. I'm a very simple girl and needed something basic but the women who like elaborate designs were getting some of the most amazing nail art. 10/10 read more

Got moonlight nails recommended to me after moving here a few months ago and I will never go anywhere else! I drive 45+ minutes one way to see Nary who ALWAYS knocks it out of the park. Everyone except the lady who wax was extremely sweet and welcoming. The lady who wax me didn't seem to care maybe even had a problem with me? everyone? Unsure... but she waxed very very aggressively... I've been waxed many time at many places and never had an experience like this. This salon doesn't operate efficiently and took care of my friends mani-pedi but left me without getting a manicure and then blamed me for their incompetence. Went here for the first time because my friend recommended this place. I thought my nail appointment was at 10:30 AM but it was actually at 10 AM, Annabelle called and she kindly changed my appointment to 10:30 AM. I made an appointment with Annabelle and she was super sweet, attentive, and very detail oriented. She brought my nail inspiration to real life. I have never had such an amazing experience at a nail salon and will definitely be coming here moving forward even though it was quite a drive from where I live. She was so gentle with my feet and massaged my legs omg can't even describe how amazing it felt. This has been my go-to place in the Orlando area for pedicures and very basic manicures. I always go to Winter Haven when I want something more detailed, only as I have been disappointed time and time again in the immediate area. Until today! Walked in (extremely appreciative of them taking me as a walk in, will definitely sched an appt next time!) and left extremely satisfied with Annabelle's work! I came in with a general idea of anime themed nails and the most important aspect of what I wanted (gomu gomu no mi nails), Annabelle was able to execute it well! Will be returning again for nails! I used to genuinely love this place for months and I used to love doing my nails with Annabelle. Until one say i had to do my nails with another woman that is extremely unprofessional and greedy. (Unfortunately i forgot her name but she is in her 30's) She started making up on the spot her own prices and trying to charge me 2x more than i usually pay. I argued that "i usually don't pay that much with Annabelle" which she replies while looking at Annabelle "Really?! Really?! Why would you do that price?!" I got up and said i would go elsewhere because i'm not paying more than i usually do. To which she responded "okay bye have a great day" Extremely disgusting and greedy behavior. That same woman had already up-charged my mother before and i gave her the benefit of the doubt. She doesn't deserve to work there unless she fixes her character. They lost a genuinely loyal customer because i'm never going back. read more

She offers both waxing and sugaring services (witch is rare i feel) I opted for the sugaring Brazilian and when I say I didn't feel a pinch. i am not lying. i have been waxing on and off for some time now and recently switched to sugaring and i swear that is the MOST PAINFUL experience ever. But some how Geo makes it so pain free. She has so much attention to detail and makes you feel comfortable the entire time. She keeps the facility super clean! The set up is so cute ! Pricing is a bit up there ($70 for my full Brazilian) but she adds the happy train and the back strip in there for you. Honestly, the most I've ever paid for this service, but overly well worth it! She was worth every penny! I live in Tampa and I will drive to Orlando each time just to see her!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Moonlight Nail Salon and I must say, it was a five-star experience from start to finish! The salon itself had a cozy, clean and inviting atmosphere, making me feel instantly relaxed upon entering. Now, let's talk about the real stars of the show: Annabelle and Kylee. Annabelle's skills with shaping and nail designs are truly exceptional. She listened attentively to my ideas and preferences, and effortlessly brought them to life. She even MIXED COLORS to create the perfect match from my inspo pic. Her attention to detail and precision left me in awe. I left the salon with the most stunning set of nails I've ever had, and received countless compliments on them afterwards. Speaking of the pedicure, Kylee (I think that was her name) was simply amazing! She was not only professional and friendly, but also extremely skilled in her craft. The care and precision she put into every step of the pedicure made me feel like I was walking on clouds afterwards. My feet have never looked or felt better! Had a really great experience here! Hazel did an amazing job on my mani and pedi. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and made sure I was happy with everything throughout the appointment. I want to start off by saying, I never write reviews, let alone bad ones. I'm generally not a picky…read moreperson, but everyone I've talked to has told me I need to write a review about my experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I started my appointment fine, I was prepped by one tech Lynn, who after I showed my inspo pic, she switched me to Mai. Concerned, I specifically asked Mai when I showed her my inspo picture if it was too hard to do and I would pick something simpler, and she ASSURED me it was fine. The reason I asked was because I had an event to go to and knew a bunch of people were going to be looking at my nails, so I didn't want to risk them turning out bad. First, I asked for Gel X which should be easier to do than acrylic or dip. Right? Wrong. Mai used a gritty primer before adding color to my extensions that make my nails so bumpy. She literally mentioned how it looked weird and retried to apply multiple times and it still looked bad and she just kept going. Then she applied nude for 6 of my French nails that were so patchy because she didn't do enough layers. Then for the actual design. She verbally stated to Lynn that she didn't know how she was gonna do it but that she would try. Not comforting to hear... For the design the first red flag was that she used a hot ass pink color for the base lines, keep in mind the design is bright red. She assures me that she's gonna add red and does the lightest streakiest red ever! At this point she starts to put top coat on and I speak up about how the design looks-- she's missing vertical lines in the gingham, the lines she does have are they're too spaced out so the white spaces look rectangular not square, the lines look messy uneven and didn't go all the way to the inside of my French nails, I truly hated them and I told her so nicely "I'm so sorry but I do not like them, is there any way we can just do French instead at this point? and she blew up on me! She started getting hostile and saying that my inspo picture was messy and she just copied the messiness of the picture, that "no one can do it completely 100% like the photo", and kept pushing me to answer what was wrong with the nails and I told her everything and she said she would fix them but at this point I just wanted something simpler. I asked again can she even just cover them with a solid color and she refused, and we literally sat in silence until I agreed to let her "fix" them. I had to instruct her on exactly what to fix and everytime I would ask for something she'd say "I'm not done yet!". She kept arguing with me that there were not vertical lines on the sides on the nails only one in the middle like what? It's a gingham pattern... and yes it is in the picture, when I point out that she's wrong and just missed that there were extra lines she completely dismissed me. I literally almost never speak up at nail salons and this was just such a bad experience and I hated my nails so much that it took all the courage I had to speak up for myself so I wouldn't have to leave with nails I hated and she legit pressured me into keeping them. Not only that but she tried to gaslight me the whole time into saying her poor quality was MY fault. She said it's because I have bigger nails and that I chose a different shape than the inspo picture... um what??? She just kept saying that I needed to pay her for her time that's why she wouldn't change the design but 1. I never said that I wouldn't pay her, I definitely would've she just didn't want to keep working on them because she was lazy. 2. she promised me something and did not deliver, at all. AND in the beginning she said she would test doing the design on 1-2 nails then ask me how I liked it and that NEVER happened. Matter of fact she not once checked in on me to see if I liked them or explained her plan so I just trusted her and the process. Big mistake. I cannot tell you how frustrating, embarrassing, and upsetting this was. The way Mai handled the situation was beyond rude and unprofessional. If you want cute designs DO NOT COME HERE, or rather DO NOT GO TO MAI. I specifically picked this placed because I saw photos of cute designs and thought they were capable and maybe some of the techs are but my experience was so horrible I will never be back. Everyone I have shown has told me they can tell that it's bad and i cried several times about it. DO NOT GO HERE. Save your time, money and mental well being by just getting gel x press ons and doing your nails at home by yourself. See inspo pic attached versus what I got and keep in mind that what I got is not even bad as what she originally did. I had to literally tell her what to do to somewhat make them look decent. Yeah it might look alright if you're 500 feet away and squint your eyes. But the quality is truly horrifying upclose. 0/10 would never recommend and honestly this is my last time going to a random fucking salon.

When I returned to have them corrected, the response was dismissive, and I was told that the color was simply "supposed to do that." I did not feel that the quality of the service matched the price, nor was the issue handled professionally. Despite that experience, I later decided to give the salon another chance. Unfortunately, the customer service was still an issue. After the salon provided me with the wrong total--and after my friend and I had already been overcharged--the owner followed me outside to my car, knocked on my window, and demanded an additional $5. The situation could have been resolved calmly inside the salon, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and uncomfortable. No apology was offered for the billing confusion or the interaction afterward. I understand that mistakes happen, but how a business responds to those mistakes matters. Between the premature chipping, inconsistent billing, and poor handling of my concerns, I ultimately chose to take my business elsewhere.

Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry.
