TLDR: It's a wait but well worth it. It's the last week before tax day and I expect there to be a wait. This was my first time here but two people who don't know each other recommended this spot. I'm a social butterfly so while I waited I talked to a few people there and all of them said it's worth the wait. They have a good system where you get seen twice, the first time gets all your documents in order, the second is with Sonia who does the taxes. I've been married for over 10 years, I have 3 kids and I own a home. The last 5 years I either owned or got lucky and was even-Steven. Now only did I get a return but I was given good advice on how to prepare for next year. Needless to say I will be back next year. P.S. they do other legal things too. read more

Dolores did my taxes for 2021. I thought that was it. I never got copy of my taxes. I've been paying the IRS for an error in 2021. I have been emailing her since then. She is "always " on vacation and refuses to email back . Do not trust her. There's something fishy about this business. read more

Ive came here before and I havent had issues until this last year, my rating is based on my experience on how she handled the situation. Long story short i received a notice from the irs for a $1000 deduction from my taxes that said i (my tax prep) input something incorrectly and that i needed further proof or they would keep my money by a given date. When i went the first time she said i will hear from the irs before the deadline. The deadline started to get near and i didnt hear from the irs so i went back to ask for an update and she says "you will hear from them eventually" thats when im well no shit im going to hear from them, after they inform me that they are keeping my money. She thinks shes smarter than you is what the problem is and she thinks youre going to take a dumb simple answer and not think or do research. I think when she drops the ball she doesnt like to rectify it or even take responsibility. read more

A friend recommended this place to me. She said the line is out the door because the tax preparer is that good. I waited about 4 hours to be helped. The lady is not friendly. She's serious while collecting $75 from a person every 15 min, all day. The first year, I thought good for her. Then I realized she rushes though the paperwork & is not that knowledgeable. Last year, she added all the stimulus checks as income. Later to find out, they're not taxable. She stares at you after she asks a question as if she's pressed on time. To long of a wait, it will take you the whole day just to do your tax. But they are ok.

I don't recommend this place. The wait time is ridiculous even with an appointment. They have a sign on the door stating the documents needed however I was assisted with my tax return, the lady took my w2's and followed by asking the account number for the direct deposit, however not once did they asked to see OR document my ID or any other form of identification. This made me feel a bit unease. I also received a called TWO MONTHS after my appointment stating I missed a signature for my tax return and this could lead to some legal issues if I did not go to come back to sign ASAP. They not once apologized for the inconvenience but made seem as if it was my fault. They need to get it together. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I definitely would. My family trusted this establishment since last year for filing taxes. We just found out today that Arellano's made a mistake when filing this year. They claimed a dependent that we asked them to remove and received verbal confirmation from them that they had removed said dependent. The person tried to file their own taxes and is now facing a dilemma in receiving the right amount of their tax return due to Arellano's mistake in not doing right by its customer. We called and asked for the claim to be removed and for the error to be fixed and Arellano completely accepted responsibility AND STILL let us know that we'd be charged for the correction. Unbelievable. We are no longer a customer of Arellano's and we hope that this serves as a warning to others to be careful with which business they trust with their money. read more

Had an appointment at 5pm. Get there at 4:55pm. No one greets me. I say I have an appointment at 5 and i am told to sign a paper and someone will be with me. Its 510pm and I am told there is a wait on the appointments. Maybe not take walk ins over your appointments. So what is the point. Maybe you should not make appointments if you cant keep them. Very irritating and unprofessional. read more

My wife and I have been doing our taxes there for the last few years. Other than the wait, staff has been knowledgeable but this year, they messed up our paperwork and they told us to come back in a few weeks to correct their mistake. We called in a few weeks and told us to call back another time. Today, we went back and they charged us to file their error (amendment) . Their mistake not ours.,we have always recommended this place to friends and co-workers but this year will be the last. read more

I used to love coming to Arellano Tax Services... but it got to be a little far from where I live so I had to go to a new place. The woman who did my taxes this time around has been an accountant for many years and does everything by the books. When reviewing my tax refunds from the previous years she was shocked and told my husband and I that we should "watch our backs" from the IRS coming after us for the next 5 years because they had really done some shady stuff in order to get us those so called great refunds. Be careful before doing your taxes here. Not worth the extra money. I like that I'm now somewhere where I feel confident that I'm getting the maximum refund in a LEGITIMATE way. read more

I usually go to jch in Temecula and have been going there for about 6 years, so I was a little bit nervous about changing my tax place. However I was pleasantly surprised to find my new tax home in this little hideaway. I felt very comfortable here all of the ladies were funny and sweet and I have never received such great friendly service, along with extra reasonable pricing. You girls really know how to treat people right. I will always return to you and I would recommend you to everyone, see you in 2016 ladies. These people suck. We did our taxes here and we never received our federal income tax. It's been six months and we had to call the IRS ourselves to find out why it was talking so long. Only to find out that Arellano never filed our taxes in the first place because they needed a pin from the IRS. This should have notified them on their end. I don't understand why they never notified us if they have an auditor that goes in on Tuesday's. It's been almost a month since they were suppose to send us copies of our federal income tax so we can sign them and sent them out so they could finally get processed. read more

Never ever will I go here again!! Went in to get a quote and Sonia ended up filing my taxes without my approval or signature on anything. I had to call the IRS because I thought someone stole my identity when I tried to file somewhere else I was very disappointed and on top of that she didn't even call me to let me know what happened or let me know how I will be receiving my checks!!
