My son and I ordered the Plato Chapin, which included three tacos and two empanadas, along with a few chips. My wife settled on just the tacos. In a rare moment, we all agreed the food was excellent. Of the two empanadas, I enjoyed the beef better than the cheese. Very happy that we found this place and would recommend it to anyone that yearns for a really good meal with really nice people.

I learned later that there are a few Burrito Loco locations but this one is in the middle of a good bar district, which means late-night eats are a must. There are a handful of pretty basic options to choose from and a couple of drink options. They get bonus points for serving bottled Jaritos. Service was patient while we ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. My husband got a burrito, which he did not finish (never a good sign). I got a bacon quesadilla, which seemed like a fairly safe option. It was OK. The bacon was really fatty. But it was hot, filled with cheese and made me not starving. So check. I DO think that if I had been out partying at a bar and needed something to scarf down at like 2 in the morning, Burrito Loco would be PERFECT.
