Beer!

Going on our third week abroad we were really looking for something different. We found it in this little Latin restaurant. We really enjoyed our fajitas chicken and beef but the guacamole was the star of the show. We would definitely recommend this and will return when we come back to Prague.

Agree whole heartedly with Jasmine on this one. This place has alright mexican food for fair prices, especially during happy hour when we went. I got the chicken nachos for 120 crowns and it was a good size portion for one person. The cheese was very good quality, melted and plentiful..but chicken was a bit sparse and bland. It appeared to be seasoned but did not at all taste this way....Also there was so many beans, olives..?????? and jalopeanos on the nachos maybe I just was not supposed to notice there was much less chicken? I will say the ambiance here is awesome though, feels like an authentic mexican place in the US or Mexico. Very cozy and nicely decorated to be inviting. I like how the tables are spaced so that you feel like you are alone with your guests, instead of in a large crowded place. The service here was also not the best. At least our server spoke some english, but she didn't check on us once, forgot my friends drink twice, and was generally just not around. Not sure if this is the norm here or not, but I didn't see anyone else working but bartenders and it was not busy by any means just a handful of tables. Overall I can say I won't be back- Due to the medicore food and alright service. I would rather try a place that is worth 4 or 5 stars instead and blows me away with awesomeness.

This restaurant came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint!! Our food was phenomenal and my friend even said her fajitas were the BEST she's ever had! The chili con carne burrito was fantastic and we loved the chips and guacamole to start off with!

Arepas De Lyna - Don't let the looks fool you. This soup smells and tastes delicious. I could eat a whole bowl of this. Free with the lunch special.

I wish I had discovered it sooner, as the food was quite good and I have wanted to try arepas for a while (they've become popular on the East Coast of the US, but they're hard to find in Los Angeles). The actual menu shifts somewhat from day to day, depending on what items are available. Lyna tries to serve only what is fresh. There are typically three or four main items on the menu actually available out of a somewhat larger assortment listed on the menu. The owner deals with this by having a menu with a number of clear plastic slipcovers in it like a small binder. There is a neatly printed overview menu on one page up front with the drinks list on the back of it, and then photographs with handwritten titles of the day's available items are in individual clear plastic pages following, so that she can swap them out on a daily basis. I have heard that opening hours can be a little inconsistent, so it may be best to call ahead and confirm if you're going with the group or going far out of your way to the restaurant. The arepas were delicious: deliciously cooked shredded beef and/or chicken, avocado, cheese, and vegetables, all stuffed into a chewy, crunchy split pastry made of cornmeal (polenta, harina de maiz), a bit like a pita but much chewier and very satisfying. there are two sauces to go with it, I read somewhat spicy sauce and a green sauce flavored herbs and a bit of garlic. Plaintain chips and fried bananas were also quite good. Desserts vary. Sometimes there is a flan. We had small, sweet cornmeal pastries stuffed with cheese and sweet corn. Beer is good, from Únětický pivovar.

I think these must be the best arepas in the central Eurrope :) Option with meet or…read morevegetarian/vegan. And empanadas (de queso o con carne) to die for. Don't forget to try LynaLimon as a liquid sweet treat :). Important to add that all ingredients are 'bio'. The extra flavor of arepas is thanks to quinoa, chia, and other superfood :) Este lugar es sentirse como en casa para todos latinoamericanos visitando or viviendo en Praga!

No. Just no. This isn't "Latino" food. It's not Tex-mex. It is just terrible…read more For a place called Mezcal, they only had 3 mezcal on the menu and 3 tequilas. I ordered a tequila on the rocks with lime and salt. I received a tequila straight, rocks on the side, a lemon and was told salt was on the table. So many things wrong with that situation. I was hungry and was excited about the thought of eating late night tacos. THEY DON'T HAVE TACOS! No tacos. Let me remind you, this is a Latino restaurant. We ordered the "nachos" before deciding if we wanted to order dinner. We received a plate of store bought tortilla chips with cold yellow goo that I think they called cheese. On little bowls on the side were salsa, sour cream, black beans and guacamole. It was by far the WORST nachos I have ever had in my life. These nachos were made with longing, by someone longing for nachos but only had a rough description. We decided to "nope" it outta there after that. This place is a bit too pricey for what it is.

We also got their specialty - chicken fajitas which was nothing more than sautéed vegetables (not in the cast iron dish) and some sad chicken. They'd do well to hit up a couple of YouTube videos on Mexican food. ... to their defense - I've yet to be at all successful for any sort of Mexican food in Europe.
