Due to COVID, Dr. Dotson is only offering Telehealth appointments, but you still go into the office for all lab work purposes. The young lady in the front was very polite and energetic. Her customer service was exceptional! I was very comfortable being that it was my first time there. I did not have to wait long at all once I completed all my paperwork. I was in and out in no time. I am really happy I found this office as I've been in search of a PCP for a few years now. I have to also mention that the environment is very soothing. You cannot help but get comfortable there because they make sure to bring a more homey feel to it. This was a great visit!

I've also heard horror stories from multiple other patients about being billed twice for their copayment because the office doesn't seem to keep their records or receipts very organized. It's happened to me a couple times where I will pay copayment and then still have a balance on my account with them. I would advise anyone interested in this office to find a different doctor, because not everyone has the time or patience to sit and wait nearly 2 1/2 hours to get a refill for their medication. I had a great experience with a medical student who was able to tell me more about the medications I was consuming than from my very own psychiatrist. Ridiculous, but true. I'm sure not all of the psychiatrists are impersonal, but most are. This makes the feel of the office the total opposite of a cozy environment, instead making it feel like just a regular scary doctors office.

I spoke to Jake from the Addict's Diary who got me approved and my deductible scholarshipped into southern Florida's Luxury United Recovery Project....NOTHING Luxury about it... more like Real World "Heroin Edition"!! The pictures I was sent were not where I ended up. Complete insurance fraud. I went for PTSD- There was no quiet time at all. There was a beat up wrecked echoing house full of addicts yelling and somebody having a fit every minute. You attend drug classes every day and Narcotics Anonymous classes each night. I ended up having to leave against medical advice because they will keep you there as long as your insurance will pay- 2 months, 3 months etc. do your research on patient/body brokering before you go. I had never heard of it!
