Spent close to $2000 for a simple hearing to have a violation dismissed and the attorney did not deliver. I felt the attorney spent 5 minutes to review my case before the hearing. Waste of my money. Extremely disappointed and frustrated and wished I had worked with someone else. read more

Aretsky (Eric) Law Group offers fast and effecient services . They handled a matter for me immediately after being contacted on a Friday afternoon for a court date on Monday during the Thanksgiving holiday. Eric responded immediately and got the court date rescheduled. He did an amazing job with the prosecutor and received results that were amazing. From possible jail time for a traffic violation to a minimal fine. I would definitely recommend him for any traffic ticket problems as well as DWI, family issues, etc. His rates were more than fair. I will recommend him over and over again. read more

Eric Aretsky has represented me in a variety of legal situations. One involved the termination of a real-estate lease with due cause; another was a dispute with a driver who backed into my stopped vehicle and then refused to pay damages; and a third dealt with the unlawful claim by a business for unauthorized services. Mr. Aretsky was efficient and tenacious in the handling of each case, and as a result each was resolved in my favor. At all times he was both professional and pleasant. Bergen County divorce and family law attorneys Dolores L. Aretsky and Eric J. Aretsky established the Aretsky Law Group, P.C. in 1991 in Hackensack, NJ. The mother and son team always treat their clients like family. The founding members of the firm recognize the turmoil that these families are experiencing and do their best to provide legal expertise and care. The law firm expanded and has highly experienced attorneys representing clients with divorce and family law matters throughout New Jersey.

Meet the Business Owner: Eric A.

Eric J. Aretsky, is a very experienced and respected New Jersey divorce and family law lawyer. Prior to establishing the law group in 1991, Mr. Aretsky served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Conrad W. Krafte in the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County in Hackensack. He received his law degree from New York Law School in 1990 and his B.A. degree from Fordham University in 1987. Mr. Aretsky is a Court Approved New Jersey Divorce & Family Law mediator. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (Family Law Committee) and the Bergen County Bar Association.Mr. Aretsky is a long time resident of Bergen County.
