After Lowell General tried to dismiss this and send me home, I demanded an MRI that was reviewed by Dr Cook. He remarked that my disc in my back was so herniated that he could see it across the room, it was pressing the sciatic nerve which was causing the intense pain. 2 Days later I was in surgery. I'm so glad that I finally left this office because I have been waiting to write this review for years. I have lived all over the country and have had over a dozen doctors and this is by far the worst healthcare I have ever experienced. I would not recommend this facility to ANYONE. I feel it is necessary to share my experience if it helps someone make the decision not to go here. My last visit with them, towards the end of 2022, was the absolute final straw. I have a genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (type III) that affects my connective tissue, causes chronic joint and muscle pain, and impacts many of my bodily functions. It is a rare and under-researched disease that progresses with age, so a lot of what I am experiencing is very new. Every monthly appointment, I have something new to discuss with my provider, including muscle tension/spasms, urinary and gastrointestinal issues, pelvic floor issues, and extremely painful periods. I have been particularly dealing with digestive issues lately, having little appetite, getting full after two bites, suffering from constipation, and losing 30 pounds without trying in just a few months. I asked for a referral to a GI doctor and while explaining my symptoms, my provider, Roshani, told me that I am "overthinking my symptoms". I was bewildered. How could she look at my chart and see a 30 pound weight loss and tell me I'm overthinking it? It is so incredibly frustrating to know something is wrong with my body but not know what it is and to have minimal support from the person whose job it is to help me. I am in pain constantly, developing new problems every day, and trying to figure them out myself. In fact, Roshani didn't even know what my disorder was until I explained it to her. She clearly doesn't have any education on it because if she did, she would know that my symptoms are very real and all related to my EDS. I had long sensed that she didn't take me seriously, and this incident confirmed it. This caused me to finally switch doctors after 4 years of negative experiences with CBC. In fact, there are so many that I can't even fit them all into one Yelp review, so I took screenshots of the rest. Feel free to read the attached photos that discuss several other incidents that led up to one big incident of the old office manager, Chen, acting incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful towards me. I will note I have never had any personal issues with anyone else in this office, the ladies at the front are very kind, but Chen (who has since been replaced) and Roshani were both extremely unprofessional and horrible to deal with. It blows my mind that this office is still running. I switched to Lahey, who listened and empathized with all of my concerns, and after just one visit, I had several referrals. I wish I switched years ago, maybe my symptoms wouldn't have progressed so badly if I had been appropriately helped when I needed it.

My Primary Care, Julie, got the ball rolling with me even though she was supposed to be on Lunch break. If you ask me that is dedication to her patients and practice. I was in for a routine physical and because of my conditions I had to have a few extra tests done aside from the average patient physical. 8/17/16 I was back in CBC's office this morning and I had another great experience with staff going out of their way to help me get what I needed. Irma and Marla are the greatest they are always so pleasant and helpful. I ran into a slight problem with one of my treatments and the insurance company but Julie and Irma figured out a way to resolve it. All in all these past two visits in the past two days have been a great experience for me. Every visit is always pleasant and very helpful and informative. All of the staff are very nice and helpful and you can ask them any question you may have and feel comfortable. They don't judge they are just there to help you and provide for your needs and answer any question that you have. My experiences have always been great coming here for my medical care. They were closed until 1pm for lunch, which I didn't know about. I had to sit there and wait, which was annoying. Then when they came back, I had to fill out paperwork, so that pushed my appointment even further. When I met the dr, she was so very sweet! She answered all my questions, didn't rush me and explained everything she was doing. I felt so comfortable with her. She's one of my favorite drs! I'm so glad I met her. My experience here at Lowell General ER Saints campus this week was beyond unacceptable. My mother…read morewas profusely sweating, vomited seven times, and couldn't stand because the walls were spinning. She had such bad vertigo. She was taken by ambulance to Lowell General's emergency department. They wheeled her from the ambulance to the waiting room. We proceeded to sit there for the next four hours until almost 2 AM. So many people were taken before us, even the people that arrived after us. They could walk, they were in their 20s, and they were all scrolling on their phone. Yet my almost 80 year-old mother was sitting there hour after hour, after hour,after hour. When I asked after four hours, how much longer I was told two people are in front of you unless another emergency comes in. Sure enough four more people came in, and they took all of them first. When I asked a nurse to take my mother to go to the bathroom because she's been sitting here for hours she says It's right there, I can't go with her with major attitude.. I said she can't walk. The walls are spinning. Nurse replies and I quote "nowhere on her file does it mention vertigo." I said what are you talking about? The nurse looks at me pissed off, and says why are you taking this out on me? I said excuse me? What do you mean? There's no vertigo on her chart? That's why she's here. Why do you think she's here? She said food poisoning! I said food poisoning??! You haven't even seen her yet, and you have her diagnosed?? She doesn't have food poisoning. She had an episode this morning. It went away, and then it returned this afternoon. It's been happening for hours. She vomited again on the way in the ambulance. The walls are spinning still 4 hrs later. With a full waiting room at one point one gentleman asked the nurse how much longer because his wife was due for dialysis at 9 pm and it was now 11 PM? He had been there 3 hours. They continued to wait another hour. They nurses don't care. Another hour went by and finally we left. I wheeled my mother to the curb at 200 am and helped put her in the car.I've never seen such incompetent, unprofessional staff in my life. The lack of compassion and urgency is mind blowing. The nurses don't even know how to assess a patient on why they're there, certainly are incapable of triaging them accordingly. I have never seen anything like it. I was at lunch today, and overheard people in the next booth say they were at Lowell General ER yesterday after 12 hours, and finally left because they were never seen. They kept asking how much longer, and kept taking people before them. The woman looked to be in her 70s with bronchitis. Unbelievable.Do not bring your loved one to the Saints campus of Lowell General's ER. The nurse was totally unprofessional. They clearly are incapable of documenting why a patient is there correctly. Nurses don't care that you're sitting for hours. Just give you attitude when you ask how much longer?Don't bring a family member here cause they'll die before they're ever seen. The Billing Manager Judy hung up on me when the call got heated and stated she didn't have a boss and I couldn't talk to the owners. This please is a practice I would advise anyone in it to leave and anyone going to it - relook at other options as they will over charge you and dismiss you if you can't pay.
