I have been a patient at their Thorndike St. location for around 5 years. Have never been to their other locations. About 1 year ago I had my 2nd seizure within a year, so I gave up driving. Luckily I live in walking distance of this location. So I have always mentioned that since I can't/don't drive I can only go to the Thorndike St. location. This week I had a appt there. But when I went to check in was informed that the appt. was for there Pawtucket Blvd. location. And they try to make it that was my fault for not requesting to be seen at Thorndike St. As I have said I have only been to their Thorndike St. location in 5 years and do not drive. There should be some place in my personnel info. that I need to be seen ONLY at Thorndike St. read more

Communication and mannerism needs to improve. I have been informed multiple times that I'll hear back from a doctor or someone but it's been 10 days and nothing. There is no patient care at all since they can't even speak to the patients. Office staff doesn't care and they aren't welcoming when you get there. I've reached out through the portal since that's there only way to communicate and nothing. I've called and no call back. Already looking have a new primary. read more

I went to Mill city Medical because of my insurance, and what a mistake I made. Dr Thom and her assistant Alexis treated me horrible, and left me without my medications and medical care for weeks before my vacation. I was punished, because Dr Thom requested me to come in for my sleeping pill refill, and I didn't feel that I need an appointment for that. I was using the same pill for a long time. I didn't come, but a week later I asked for an appointment and medication refill, and never got one . I also called many times and e mailed her lots of times without a response From her. He assistant Alexis called me about a week later , and told me that Dr Thom is refusing to see me. I also have Medical Degree, and don't feel that patients should be treated like that. I have been a patient of MCM and always raved about it until now. They have accepted so many new patients it is nearly impossible to make a sick visit in a reasonable amount of time. Ex. I left a voicemail yesterday after THEY contacted me asking me to call in and schedule an appointment. No one got back to me. I left the voicemail rather early as well. I had to call back in today and I stated I left a voicemail and no one got back to me the day I called and according to them I needed to schedule a particular visit. The woman who answered the phone said "well I don't know who you are or who sent that to you" like ok? I didn't say this but I did not ask who sent the message to me and they didn't ask my name as soon as I called they only stated the office name- so as a normal conversation would go I stated the reason I called. The person said why was I giving them an attitude when they had a rotten attitude at the very beginning for no reason. Absolutely ridiculous encounter just trying to make an appointment. Then she had the gall to hang up and I had to call back for a third time just for an appointment. I'll be looking for a new dr's office as I'm not dealing with this type of attitude at my healthcare office. read more

I was able to get an appointment with only a week lead time for a wellness/physical. The staff were efficient helpful and addressed all my health concerns in one concise prompt and thoughtful visit. I found them knowledgeable and pleasant which is increasingly rare in a time where the local doctor you trust is often an extreme rarity seems they're keeping up the tradition. I've been going to Dr Chemaly for years. I'm a high risk patient with asthma and a kidney transplant. She is always reachable and kind. Just now, I'm on vacation in another state and my asthma is acting up and i called the 24 hour on-call doctor line, and she was the doctor to return my call. She googled hospitals in the area in case I needed the ER and 24 hour pharmacies to send prescriptions to. Even when there was an issue with the pharmacy, she fixed it quickly on her end. Besides being efficient and kind, I just love having her as a doctor. As someone who sees a LOT of doctors, she is pleasant to speak with and engaging and listens. The staff is always kind and helpful. Highly recommend! read more

I was a returning patient of Mill City Medical and was instructed after my first visit to utilize the MyTufts app for my communications. I made a last minute appointment at 8:30am since I woke up feeling unwell and arrived at 8:15 (very easy as I live in the same building as the office). Before my appointment, I was instructed to check in online for faster service, so I did. I did notice another patient checking in at the counter, but overhead that he was a new patient so I didn't think anything of it. I waited until 9am and still hadn't been called. When I spoke to the receptionists to ask for an update, I was told that I was never checked in and that I was unable to be seen. I understand that transitioning to a new system can be difficult, but what was extremely frustrating was the dark haired woman who immediately asked me why I was "SO LATE" to my appointment and how I expected someone to see me when the doctor was booked. I explained that I was there 15 minutes early and was instructed to check in online. One of the new nurses mentioned that she saw my name and asked someone to check for me, but no one checked to see if I was in the room since I wasn't checked in. I understand that I should have double checked sooner, but the blatant disrespect from the dark hair middle aged receptionist was awful and unacceptable. Before I even asked about the wait, she IMMEDIATELY greeted me with "I'm busy and in the MIDDLE OF SOMETHING." It's one thing to be busy, but another to be completely dismissive and rude to your patients. Since my PCP is at this facility, I will be going back, but I'm hoping that this receptionist either fixes her sour attitude or is no longer there. Extremely disappointed. read more

Mill city medical has the most patient focused, driven by medicine, truly want you to succeed staff, doctors, NP/PAs ,and assistants. I have never felt truly comfortable, let alone laugh and understand at the doctors office ever in my life!! The way they treat me, respond, make me feel is absolutely astounding. Literally, THE WORST. Unorganized. Unresponsive. Irresponsible. I needed a referral for surgery. They did the referral for the wrong doctor (some random dude with the same last name) so my insurance billed me for things I didn't really owe (because the claims were processed incorrectly due to the referral error). Two months later and I'm still trying to get those bills straightened out. Also, their inability to coordinate with a specialist and get me an appointment in a reasonable amount of time is going to cost me about $1,000 in deductibles and co-pays. I called the office several times and left multiple voicemails- none of which were returned, until it was too late. When I finally did get someone on the phone they told me that "it wasn't their fault"; and that they "did everything they were supposed to do", which is a blatant lie. The lady was rude and unapologetic; and basically implied that it was my fault. Do yourself a favor, stay away. I'd rather be sick. read more

Have been seeing Dr. Tsirigotis for years! Absolutely adore her! Had a terrible experience with oncall Dr. Peter Bradshaw who actually hung up on me during his "on call" shift telling me he could help me in the morning after he "gets some sleep". I have had REPEATED problems getting the necessary referrals. The group is more concerned with keeping money within their network that they refuse to setup referrals. You cannot talk to anyone for referrals, all you can do is leave your information and hope for the best. They even go on to say in the recording that you will not be called back. Twice, I have incurred costs because they denied the referral AFTER I had already been on the appointment with the specialist. I have since left the group even though I did like my primary doctor there. read more

Please don't select Mill City Medical Group. I called them a day for doctor appointment when I was in pain. They said neither my doctor or nurse is in office that day. And other doctors are booked. When I asked for the next day appointment they said they can get me a doctor appointment only after 2 days . And this happens every time, you can see the doctor only for yearly physicals and rest every time they will you appointment of nurse and that too you may or may not get it on the day you are sick. Please avoid this facility and look for another who can treat you when you are sick ,not after 2-3days. I wont recommend this to any of my friends or family. read more
