If you're looking for insurance or advice on insurance I would highly recommend Art and Team…read more Here's why: 1. Very easy to communicate with - they answer my texts, emails, calls promptly 2. Are not pushy or salesy. Listen I'm in Sales, I get it. But these guys are great. I tell them what I need and they deliver 3. Super nice! They sent me a baby gift when my 3rd was born, I mean who does that? (Thank you!) I recently worked with Isabel on changing over my car insurance and she was amazing! Fast, thorough, and the process painless! Thank you Isabell. I buy my home, car, and a few additional policies from Art and Farmers and I feel like I get TOP quality coverage and a professional service team. It's like concierge service for insurance at a super competitive rate.

I began having problems with an audit of our workers comp policy (for which I never filed a claim). After the audit we were told we owed nearly double what we were quoted with little to no explanation. It took months of back and forth with often incomprehensible bills and fees, to find out that they has misquoted us due to their lack of understanding of Illinois insurance law. That is fine, we all make mistakes, but as someone who runs an organization when I make a mistake I take responsibility for it. This company is kind and courteous, but I have found that when there is a problem they would delay, defer, or at times seemingly downright ignore the problem which is pretty unfortunate when your major service is being there in times of trouble. I do workers comp through my payroll company now and pay far less,

Allstate Insurance.....it is kinda like guys that work on your car...you just keep going back to…read morethe same folks...though you may not always be happy with them...it is sometimes easier to suffer through the same person than suffer through trying to find someone new because in the end the price and service "seem the same everywhere you go"...and Frank Catanzaro was an agent....I've only dealt with 3 AllState Agents (One in Raleigh NC...which was great...one in Cincinnati...for whom I still deal with and love still......and Frank) in the 15 years or so I've been doing business with them (Allstate as insured every one of my houses, rental properties, mutliple cars, motocycles, rental insurance, etc.). But my time with this particular office was "fine" though the thing that bothered me the most was the stupid letters and emails I would get from this office/agent saying how much they had valued my business over the many years...when in fact i was only in Chicago 2 years and with him less....I really can't stand when local offices just don't get it right....and they didn't....I know I'm "number" but I'd prefer for business to not come right out and tell me I'm one when they make such stupid mistakes. Did they get my insurance right.........yeah sure..but then again that was mainly the main corporate head quarters doing that....Frank on the other hand couldn't figure out if I was with him 1 year or 10 years? I'm in another State and still with Allstate............AND.....thankfully an agent that doesn't make those kinds of blunders.

Great customer service from everyone in the team too. I moved out of the state a little while ago and unfortunately couldn't keep him as an agent because of it. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh. That's me breathing a big sigh of relief that my…read morewhole ordeal with this insurance company is over. They screwed me over moneywise and were horrible to deal with, but it's done. On April 10th, I was stopped at an intersection and hit by a guy - I saw in my mirror he was reaching to get something off the floor of his passenger side and bam! Smacked into me. It wasn't hard and when we got out, there wasn't much damage. We were at quite a busy intersection though, so I said to him - let's drive to the next light and pull off to call the police. He rolled his eyes and said Really? That's hardly any damage. I said We still need to call the police and there is a bit of damage. He agreed grudgingly. I pulled to the left turn lane of the next light and the guy kept going, not pulling over. I immediately dialed 911 and was determined to catch up to him. He had the advantage over me as it was rush hour and we were on a 6 lane street so he could lose me in a second. I was on the line with the dispatcher who tried to convince me to pull over but I hadn't even wrote down his plate! I had to catch up to this guy and darted in & out of traffic at rapid speeds if nothing else, just to get his plate. After driving about a mile, I could see him up ahead. The light in front of us turned yellow and thank goodness the car in front of him decided to stop & he had no choice but to also stop. I was able to get diagonally two car lengths behind him & read his plate to dispatch. While at the light, he saw me and I'm sure knew he would be way more screwed for a hit and run so he pulled in front of me & pulled off at the gas station with me. I didn't get out of my car for fear of screaming explicits so I stayed on the line with dispatch until police showed up. I had two of the nicest Schaumburg cops ever help me with the hour long write up of a report. The guy who hit me lied to the police telling them we agreed no damage & not to pull off. I have a big issue with lying and couldn't believe that someone could lie like that, especially to authoriTAHS! Respect their authoritah! Anyways, he continued talking smack to the cops and they nearly cuffed him. The cops thought I was badass for chasing this dude because they were saying I didn't know if he had a gun or what could have happened. But yea, Sarah don't play that. So this guy was using his GF's car and she had this insurance. It was called something else that my State Farm Insurance had never heard of but when State Farm called them to open up the claim for me, they outsourced to this more local insurance. Everything with American Leader Insurance was a joke. The rep assigned to me never picked up his phone once in 30 or so phone calls I made. I always had to leave a message. Every time I followed up with this insurance company, they had an excuse for why they didn't return my call most of which they reused many times - they had my number wrong (most used excuse), they weren't hearing from their insured, they called but couldn't reach me, they didn't get my message, and on & on. It was seriously like some bad TV movie where the kid forgets his homework for school and it's a gamut of half ass dog-ate-my-homework-esque explainations. So just to break things down - April 10 - Hit by this guy. Claim opened by State Farm with American Insurance for me. April 15 - Rcvd in the mail forms to fill out which I did immediately, drew diagrams, included a police report, and mailed it back on April 16. Many phone calls, American Insurance saying they couldn't reach their insured, tons of excuses why things weren't progressing. May 24 - Said I needed to download an inspection app to assess the damage. I didn't get the information on the app & tried calling a few times again to follow-up. June 1 - I received the app and completed the app's inspection. Heard nothing, then after 2 weeks I started calling once a week up until~ July 21 - Finally got a VM from them saying they were mailing a letter for me to sign on the damage. July 25 - Rcvd a letter explaining the assessor evaluated the damage at $189. I could either take the money or go to a shop to have them access it & submit that to the insurance company. According to my car friend, the damage was in no way as low as $189 but I was so sick of everything I decided to just take the check and move on. I sent the letter back signed agreeing to accept $189 on July 26. August 4 - $189 check received. This insurance company seems to be one that strains those that try to make claims. They do this so much so that in the end you are so absolutely exhausted from the process you'll take what you can get. I sure did. I'm sure their car insurance is way cheap because they just seem like a shady bunch. If you don't follow-up with them stalker style, you'll never hear a peep. Save yourself the hassle & get insurance from a reputable company. I'll give you my State Farm Rep's #. #yelptherapy
