They also have a homewear section with includes bathroom accessories, bedding, lighting and general finishing touches such as photo frames etc. The store is well layed out and it is easy to see items. The stock is usually quite good and so you are likely to find items in your size. If not the staff are very helpful and will check at other stores for you. They have a good selection of shoes and hand bags. There is plently of parking outside the store which is handy, especially when buying larger items. There are good changing rooms available. The staff are friendly and helpful and any queues are kept to a minimum. They have several sales each year where they slash goods to half price or less. These are very popular and you can find some good bargins if you can stand raking through the rails with a pile of other shoppers.

Johnston's has been granted both Royal Warrant of Appointment for Manufacturing Estate Tweeds, Knitwear and Woven Accessories and The King's Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2024. And they keep bees, just because it's in line with their environmentally conscious, B Corp rated way of thinking. I admit, the tour we took was not high on my list of things to do in Scotland, but that was before I took the tour. It was very informative and educational, and I so enjoyed seeing the production end of things. I took a ton of pictures and geeked out a bit about midway through. The items in the shop are high end, meaning pricey, but so clearly way above average and of exceptional quality. I happily succumbed.

They are well trained in a range of areas from bra fittings to car seat fittings. The toilet area at the back is the easiest in the Retail Park to access with a small child and buggy. There are toys in this mothercare but i don't think it classes as an ELC outlet as in some of the larger Mothercare's in other parts of Scotland.

They have a large lingerie section up the back where you can buy nice sets or even some socks. The shoe area is quite small but if you ask for something specific it may be a case that they don't have room on the shop floor and they will get it for you from the stock room. Usually the sale rail there is huge, and there is always a bargain to be had. I was even impressed by the tidiness of it all as usually you go in and it looks like a bomb has hit it at sale times!

Of course it's a bit pricey, but I think for an occasional treat that's ok, and the quality really was good. I probably won't return to Brodie country fayre for anything but food, but don't let that put you off. If you can spare some time and you're in the area pop in. And if the word saga often appears in your holiday choices, this is probably something you would REALLY enjoy. I'd recommend it.

There is a variety of types of clothing and styles, but sometimes I have to admit that they style does not always fit with the present fashion, and sometimes I find it hard to go in there and find some nice clothing. Granted there are some really lovely clothing but some of it is a little bit outdated. Prices are not really competitive, as they are around the same prices as m&s and next, but not necessary the same quality. Of course you can go in here and get some cheap clothing, but I do find for the larger lady it is a bit of a struggle especially as most of the clothing for larger ladies are not very stylish. Overall though the whole selection of the shop is positive, and around christmas time the selection of christmas stock is outstanding, and will take your breath away, some really unique items.
