He is very good at keeping the class engaged with his stories and hands on exercises. For those who fidget in class and get antsy, don't worry; Dr. McConnell has all kinds of gadgets on the table for you to mess with! The staff at Excella were nice and welcoming. We had access to their coffee machines and they also validated our tickets for the parking garage. Breakfast and lunch were included with this class, and the food selections were decent. I saw that trait in our Project Manager (Andrey) and knew that it's a good fit. It also helped that Andrey came out to meet us in person in NYC before the project began. After that meeting- we knew we wanted to work with CodeBright team- they will get the job done and done right. Since we haven't done this before (develop a mobile app from scratch)- we had to learn a lot of the things along the way. A few days later I was caught off guard by an automated email telling me that "[my] resume was not selected to be moved forward for this particular position." The email stated that, even though I didn't get the "position," my resume would be stored if another opportunity arose. Pretty confusing since I was seeking career help, not a particular position, and I had followed the employee's instructions for the email to a T. The message was signed "The Staff of Gaskins Search Group." There was nothing about career advice or even the mention of a recruiter. I was really surprised by the lack of professionalism, especially after the person I spoke to made it seem like they were willing to help. My advice is not to waste your time with Temporaries Now.
