Been coming here since 2023. I have to admit, I still don't know many people here--mostly because I haven't gotten as involved as I probably should. But in the two years I've been coming, I can honestly say that in the preachings/teachings, I haven't seen or heard anything that goes against Scripture. I feel like they do preach sound, biblical doctrine. However, repentance and turning away from sin have been emphasized in very few occasions--Yes I have heard the topic mentioned, but not quite often. The pastors--all of them--are genuinely authentic, especially in their preachings. They can be very transparent in their preachings and I appreciate that honesty--we need more of that in today's world. I love that each pastor brings their own unique personality and style to the message, which makes it so refreshing to hear. I especially appreciate when they share their raw, unfiltered testimonies making every sermon feel real and relatable. I absolutely love that the lead pastor doesn't always take the pulpit every time, but he gives space for the other pastors to preach & teach, and I enjoy being able to hear from each of them. Both my kids (elementary & middle schooler) love this church. The children's pastor, Marilee, along with the kids' leaders, are incredibly passionate about all the children. Another person who really stands out to me is the pastor's wife, Ada. Although I don't know her well, every time I see her, I can sense how full of love she is--her heart for people truly shines through. There's something about her that blesses me each time she passes by me and smiles & say's 'Hi"; it's so genuine and full of God's love. I could say alot more about the rest of of the leaders and so much to say about this church--from the worship, to the healings & deliverances that take place, to the teachings, etc. We are blessed to have found this church. We've been attending Arise Church of Brandon since moving to the area in 2018, and from the very first day, it felt like home. Even though we helped launch, and currently attend Arise Southshore , they're both the only places we've been where we truly and consistently feel the presence of God. That alone sets it apart, but it's just the beginning. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family, and that culture of belonging hasn't changed in all these years. Every Sunday, every event, every gathering is soaked in authentic worship, Spirit-led leadership, and genuine community. What we love most is that our lead pastor prioritizes God's presence above all else. As parents, one of the things that moves us deeply is how Arise invests in the next generation. We even have a large house in Nepal called, "Elsa's House of Hope" that takes in girls who were caught in human trafficking, and are able to give them love, compassion, and a place to grow and learn. ARISE Church has truly been an answer to my prayers! My family and I moved to the area in 2023 and immediately began looking for a new church home!! (We had a church home in KY for 12 years) Once stepping foot into ARISE it was immediately home for my husband and 7 children! (We met almost every pastor the first day- they were so friendly, outgoing, loving and helpful I honestly didn't realize they were pastors immediately) We have 2 teens that have loved Youth from their first Wednesday visiting and they love Sunday service with adults too!! My family started coming to ARISE several years ago and on my first visit I knew this was home. The kids church and the youth truly live out the truth that there is no junior Holy Spirit and they encourage the kids to hear from God for themselves and encourage them to seek a personal relationship with God because you can't ride the coat tails of someone else's relationship with God. We have been to another church that looked badly on my marriage due to it being a mixed race marriage but we have only felt accepted at Arise. We have really made lifelong friends through the small groups that are offered and the church offers so many areas for you to grow in your relationship with God, those around you, the local community and worldwide missions. My husband and I are regular attendees of the Sunday morning service but I enjoy attending the Arise India service, there is also a Spanish service, Saturday morning service and a later Sunday morning service. This has been such an amazing year for us. When we first started at Arise we were met with genuine warm smiles and community. I was skeptical as we had been seeking a true community to settle in and grow but every time we started to settle in, things were exposed and we felt it was not a growing place. But not at Arise. From the children's Pastor approaching me after a few weeks to see how she could partner with us to help our kids feel safe and comfortable, to us experiencing a free flow for the presence of God to touch people. We knew we were home. My husband has grown, I've grown, my children have grown and we aren't being used for what we have to offer but they have such discipleship for the whole family, in every season to heal and grow. I can't say enough from the greeters to cleaners everyone is there to encourage one another in their walk and to not just stay the same. When we moved to the Brandon area in 2019, we were looking for a small church that was truly serving and following the Lord. We never expected to walk into a large church like Arise and feel right at home. Each time we went back, people remembered us and it always felt like a small church. The kids program is fantastic and it didn't take long for my kids to beg to go, especially for kids week during the summer. All of the pastors and staff are amazing. If you are looking for a church filled with love, community, healing, and JESUS, this is it! We moved twice and drove over an hour to go for a couple of years before we moved out of state, but we still fly or drive back for some of the conferences and to visit. We have been to dozens of churches, and few compare to Arise. The best part--- in 2023 the church broke out in revival and my husband got saved. The holy spirit is invited in at Arise and MOVES like I've never seen before. I wish I could give 10 stars! read more

Our family has truly found a home at Arise Church at Brandon. We've been attending for 4 years. Both sides of our family now attend, and we couldn't be more grateful. Funny story. I visited this church in 2022 for special services or events (Easter, brother's graduation) at that time I wasn't going to church. Only visited because of my family. Those times I visited, even if I didn't want to admit it, I felt a presence that was calling me out of the world. I kept ignoring it. Fast forward to Jan. 2023, I decided to start going to church and reconnect with God. I am no stranger to church. I grew up in it and unfortunately experienced, what we now call "church hurt". I am so thankful my kids were invited to ARISE Kids. We had stopped going to church because of a previous negative experience at another church where one of my children was being bullied. ARISE welcomed my children with open arms with no pressure for me to attend. Eventually I did start attending and it has had a life changing impact on our family. Hearing the Word Of God peached in an applicable way has been instrumental to the growth of my faith. It's like I'm hearing God clearer and now have a hunger to know him for myself. I travel for work and not only were people praying for us but also offering to help when needed. My parents soon joined us and my father attended until he was no longer physically able. Arise has been a true blessing to our family!! If you want to grow spiritually this is the church!! We have 7 kids & all of our kids have grown so much spiritually in the past year attending Arise church. When we are at Arise church it feels like a small version of heaven. I have been attending Arise since January 2025. I was invited by my primary care physicians MA. I started attending the church after separating from My husband of 15 years searching for a place where I could be accepted, feel the presence of God, grow in my faith and heal.
