I've loved this brand for a long time, but after multiple bad experiences with online pickup and returns at this location, I don't want to shop at this store anymore. My first pickup experience was already frustrating. They couldn't find my order, and I waited about 20 minutes before the supervisor, Jessica, finally brought it out -- without even packaging it properly. The second time, the item I ordered was too small. I looked around to see if I could exchange it for something else, but couldn't find anything, so I asked for a return. I was then told they couldn't process the return because it would take "about 30 minutes," and they asked me to come back the next day instead. On my third visit, I brought the return item back again, only to be told by the cashier that they couldn't process returns because "the system was down." Then the supervisor told me I should just return it by mail. I understand that technical issues and mistakes can happen. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of apology, empathy, or basic customer service throughout all of these interactions. No one seemed concerned about the inconvenience caused to customers. It's unfortunate because I truly love this brand, but this store's service has completely changed my impression. read more

Aritzia has always been my favorite brand. I love their clothes, quality, and style. I shop there often and was excited to treat myself for my birthday. Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruined the experience. When I checked out, the cashier was kind and took time to fold everything nicely in tissue and bag it up. But as I walked out, the alarm went off because a security tag had been left on one of my items. Another store clerk came over and snatched the bag from my hands without saying anything. She pulled out my clothes, ripped through the neatly folded tissue, removed the tag, and just threw everything back into the bag, all crumpled. No apology. No acknowledgment. For spending over $200, that's not the kind of treatment anyone deserves especially on their birthday. It really changed how I feel about shopping at Aritzia. I still love the brand, but the poor customer service made me not want to go back. read more

Her initial response: I don't pay attention to that, but could be.....". I still don't like their fitting room that the mirror is outside. But good thing they add some chairs outside so people who are waiting, not sitting inside and look at your every time you walk out the room. I'm not sure why this store has such a low rating. I was introduced to this store less than a year ago and I am in love with everything I have ever purchased from here. Yes, it is expensive...but they have staple pieces you will be able to wear forever! The material is incredible and looks great even after washing and drying normal (usually with expensive clothes I have to hand wash and hang dry, but not with Aritzia). The customer service is also amazing. I am pretty clueless when it comes to shopping and Kira and Alyssa are super helpful! They are really good at recommending clothes to fit your body type and style. I love everything about this store and most of the time it's the only reason I go to the mall! Located on the 2nd floor heading towards the Target area. Store is pricey but the clothing is so soft! Buttery soft leggings almost had me at hello until I saw the price. I know the brand I prefer so I'll stick with paying that elsewhere! Signage in the store indicating Black Friday deals although I was a bit confused because I thought the sign said 50% off everything but the sweatshirt my daughter got was 30% off. Anyhow it was better paying the sale price for a plain sweatshirt. Again but sooo soft!! If you ask me about modern women's clothing brands, I have zero clue. But I'm learning from my wife. She's been awaiting the opening of Aritzia in Ala Moana Shopping Center for a while. Apparently it's a really popular brand. Based on the time of the reviews here, I guess it's been open for a few months, and never noticed. It's probably my fault because I usually take her through the third level. Aritzia is located on the second level, middle area, across from Longs, next to Madewell (another popular brand that I learned). At most women's clothing stores or women's section in a department store, the sales associates usually acknowledges my wife rather than both of us. It doesn't bother me because I feel it's normal already. However, when the sales do acknowledge the both for us and treat us with excellent customer service, I'll remember it. The staff here are all very friendly and courteous. We've been here twice already, and both times, almost the entire staff asked if need any help or said "Hi, welcome." My wife found some things, and at least five employees helped in some way through the whole process of trying on and paying. I was offered to sit on the couch while I wait, which was incredibly low and soft for some reason. My knees were almost passed my head! Or did I sit on a kids couch? Overall, the store is very organized and clean and cool. Top notch customer service. And the clothes isn't painfully expensive. read more

I was on vacation here this week. Yelp and Google maps states that this store closes at 8:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Nice, quality clothes. You can find styles from athletic, casual, business casual, work, and evening. The price point is a bit on the high side. Blazers are around $80, basic tops around $40, etc. I've purchased items in store and online. Most of the workers are really helpful as some you'd need to approach them. There is a nice, clean dressing room. I recommend trying on prior to purchasing since the return window for in store purchases is only 10 days for full refund and 21 days for store credit. Ordering online is super easy, it comes really fast (within 2-5 days), and its free. The only thing is I've never received tracking numbers but I don't mind if shipping is free and fast. Also I've never ordered during peak holiday season so delivery times may very. Although I like the clothes here, there are some flaws with this company. If you purchase something online, you only have 14 days from the time the item ships (not delivered) to return for a refund to original form of payment regardless if the item arrives within that 14 day window or not. Another major issue is they dont do price adjustments. I purchased a denim shirt online and it was too big so I happened to find a size smaller in store. I notice the tag was $10 cheaper ($88). The worker refused to adjust the price and said it was ringing up $98 so I had to pay whatever it rung up as. read more

So my daughter went in with her baby and the employee told her she couldn't take the stroller in the dressing room. My daughter told them she's not leaving her baby outside so the employee asked her to lift up her diaper bag to see if she had anything under it. Also no one helped her and asked he if she need anything BUT they were bringing other customers things to try on! Before my first and last experience at Artizia I had never previously heard about the brand or gone into the store. The only reason I went into the store was because my friend had got me items from there for my birthday, but they didn't fit. I decided to return the items and do store credit. I went to look around the store to see if there was anything I liked. I was immediately thrown off when an employee showed up behind me asking me questions, trying to guide me throughout my experience. This is something you would experience if you have ever been in a Victoria's Secret store. I personally don't enjoy this kind of shopping experience, but the employee was nice and I didn't want to be rude. I picked out a few items and finally headed to the fitting rooms. To give the incoming situation some context, I do not enjoy shopping. I find it hard to find clothes that fit me just right and always feel bummed out when I put everything back. This is why I brought my girlfriend along for moral support. She is not very feminine and has a short haircut. I noticed that the fitting room had a bunch of individual changing rooms and one giant waiting room. My girlfriend was waiting on the couch in the general area and I asked if she could come into the fitting room area. She said "no". "HE isn't allowed". It took me a while to even register her response. I was already feeling overwhelmed and felt uncomfortable at the thought of explaining that she was actually a female yada yada yada. The employee pulls open my changing room curtain to hang up the items I chose and I immediately go "oh shit, there's no mirror in here". The only mirrors were on the opposite side of the big fitting room waiting area. I had to physically open my cherished privacy curtain and walk across the fitting room waiting area where other people were sitting and waiting in order to look at myself. I was so uncomfortable and upset. I shouldn't have to expose (and I don't mean that I was nude or uncovered), myself in order to look at myself in a mirror. On top of all this, of course, the clothes just didn't fit right. The employee kept coming back and asking me how things were fitting etc., but I just wanted to be left alone. I wanted to put everything back and leave. But when someone is asking you how everything is going and if everything fits ok, I felt obligated to interact and try on different sizes etc. I understand that their job is to "guide" you through the experience and sell clothes, but I felt isolated, pressured, and trapped. Not to mention that they put clothes in my room for me to try on and I didn't even pick them out. I finally told her that I was not feeling any of the items and I was ready to leave. I left the store and haven't been back since. Although I still have store credit, I absolutely dread the thought of being back. In summation these are the reasons behind my rating: 1. Too much "service". Some people want to shop by themselves and not constantly be asked questions by some stranger. In addition, I don't want random clothes in my changing room that I didn't ask for or want. 2. Misgendered by the employee. This one is self-explanatory. 3. No mirrors in the individual changing rooms. It is absolutely crucial that people have the option to try on clothes in the privacy of their own changing room with their own mirror. Not everyone wants to strut out of their room and across the waiting area to the mirrors in front anyone else that might be there. read more

I've been debating on even writing or saying anything about my experiences at this location but it has really continued to bother me. I've visited this store quite frequently recently and there is a sales associate who works there whose name is Victoria. I don't know what it is, but she is always talking to me like I can't afford to buy anything there. It is such gross, high school "mean girl" behavior. I'm sure she's a decent person but I personally don't deserve to be treated that way as a guest and I don't know if she treats others this way, but it's unacceptable -- especially when you're working in a customer service industry. No matter who your guests are, you treat them with common decency. It is because of her that I no longer want to return to that store location. It just takes one person to ruin your entire experience and that was her for me. Again, I'm sure she's a decent person but she needs to be aware of how she's coming off to other people especially when your job is about connecting and making basic relationships with others. Disappointed in their lack of professionalism especially for the price you pay at this store. I finished work after a long hard day of working in the rain and was discriminated against for how I looked. No one asked if I needed help and instead got dirty looks as I was shopping. The bare minimum conversation I did get was while I was at checkout. If you are charging extortion for your product the least you can do to make up for it is provide exceptional customer service while shopping inside your store. A "hi can I help you with anything" goes a long way. read more

The customer service here is impeccable. From the dressing rooms to the cashier, every employee at their respective stations were friendly, knowledgeable and ready to assist. Georgia helped me and she was incredibly patient and helpful. She opened a dressing room for me while I shopped, checked in on me when I was trying things on and gave recommendations. All in all, probably the best service I've ever had at an Aritzia nationwide. The only suggestion I have is this. I would have the staff reconsider allowing men into the waiting area of the dressing rooms. There are no mirrors in each of the dressing rooms so you have to step out to use the mirrors. At one point I was in the smaller dressing room to the left, sandwiched between two girls who were obviously friends. They brought in a bunch of young guys who sat in the waiting area and they all hung out for a while chatting about random things. It made me feel uncomfortable coming out in a dress to an audience of teen guys, especially if since I was going bra-less. I literally had to wait until they left to see if the dress fit. Terrible rude service. I feel like you get judged right when you walk in that store. You have to be young and look and dress a certain way to get help. If not you'll get totally ignored. If you do get help, they'll size you up and judge you. I asked for a certain shorts that I needed in another size. She left me to look for one and never came back. Another was rude when I told her that I needed a size 6, she looked at me and said a 6 very rudely. Okay maybe they go by odd sizes?? Well excuse me for being that size and not a petite. Shopped at this store while my visit in Canada. And I love love love the quality and style of clothing. Sooo I was in delighted to see they had opened up at Ala Moana. Located behind Morton's Steakhouse on the 2nd floor...you can't miss it. Space is huge. They actually took over where Banana Republic used to be. I gotta say, place is easy to shop as it's is very organized. I must say that the customer service is a bit over the top...not saying it's bad, they just need to tone it down a notch. Clothing ranges from athletic to business to evening wear. As I've mentioned, quality is great but price is a bit steep! A bit more than Banana Republic, I would say. I walked into the store not so long ago, just to see if anything would caught my attention, not really aiming at anything, when I was approached by one of the sales person. Her approach was very direct and violent, I was like ok let's she what she has to say, and right away she started picking up things for me to try on without asking me for my size, I ended up in the dressing with all of this clothes that fit me big because of course she just ASSUMED that I was a certain size according to my looks. This whole experience made very insecure on my body. I'm a healthy person that enjoys life and I take care of myself, the fact that you just assumed which size I fit in it's pretty fucked up. I looked up other reviews and it seems like this happens often at this stores and it's really unfortunate because the products they offer are really cute, I would only be buying online from now on. First of all, all the negative reviews would come from those "Elite" yelpers! They have no problem being a self proclaimed bootleg "journalist-reviewer". Ignore them. They have no problem ruining businesses and are impossible to please with their ignorant ability to wreck shit on their bad days lol. You can't please them ever. When I got to my changing room my rack was filled of clothes that she chose; I loved EVERY single piece! In fact I ended up purchasing every item she chose and left the few items I picked behind. Everything I tried on fit so perfectly and were all VERY comfortable and super chic in it's own right. It amazes me how many items I went home with... I'm usually not a shopper because a lot of styles just don't look right on my body. I have shoulders that can run thru a wall and an ass that gets in the way of pants lol. I went in just to "look" and walked out with a huge bag of 14 items lol. My guy won't be happy but I'll rip the tags, hide it and pretend I've had them forever like every sane woman does LMAO. Nice clothes! Gives me skims (affordable) vibes. Unfortunately, I had to return a dress because it didn't fit my body type. Normally, I would try on before purchasing but I had just left the gym & was still a little sweaty. I was told no worries, I could return it up to ten days. When I tried it on at home, the tag broke off as I was trying it on. Not a big deal, it was just a clip so I could clip it back on. I returned it the following day & was told since the tag was not in its usual spot, they couldn't accept it back since they knew I removed it. Doesn't seem reasonable at all especially since A. That's not what I was told the day prior B. The dress has never been worn & was in brand new conditions. The associate wasn't the nicest & seemed frustrated--- mind you I wasn't acting out or seemed angry at all. I simply just asked to speak to the manger. Manager was a lot more pleasant & wasn't able to give me a refund but did offer a gift card with the amount that the dress costed me. I'm not a difficult customer so this sufficed for me but I'm not sure this fix would work for every customer so be aware. read more

My wife bought a pair of pants and tried to return the next day and they wouldn't take it because she cut off the tag. We never had this problem anywhere else, they usually give refund or store credit. They told the rules are in back of the receipt. Does anyone ever read the back of a receipt before? Words can't describe how amazing she makes every experience for every visit; I usually tell her the occasion for what attire I'm specifically looking for when I come in whether it's for business/casual/vacation.
