I prefer to patronize local businesses in Lake Havasu. I have been going to All American Battery…read morefor six years. I have eight vehicles and have purchased many batteries from them. One of the reasons I go here is because they always clip on a backup power source to maintain the electronic settings. However, today I needed a battery for my 2006 Corvette. It has aftermarket electronics that lose all programming upon power loss. When the technician began removing the cables, I asked him if he was going to connect a backup power supply. He said, "It isn't worth the time" (My time or his)? When he was finished, he said that the price of the battery was more than he had quoted but that he would do me a favor and charge me the price he originally quoted. Not only do I have to reprogram the electronics, but the electric windows have to be re indexed. At checkout I told him that the reason I come here is because they use the backup power supply. He then said that "The power supply they had, had blown up and the Boss hadn't replaced it" They charge a premium price here that I didn't mind paying in the past because of the service. By the way, All American Battery is now Motive Energy. It appears that All American Battery had sold. I tried to leave a review on the website for Motive Energy, but they don't have a place for that. This battery is not even six months old charged correctly taken care of correctly and go out to use it and it's dead.. the warranty says under six months so if this lasts so long, why is the warranty only six months. Do not buy deck of batteries from this place they are junk and the owners know they're gonna die. That's why they don't offer a new battery even if the batteries eight months old it shouldn't be dead. They won't honor it. They know they're gonna die so they're selling junk intentionally and recommending it. That's the worst knowing that they're not gonna honor the piece of junk that they're selling. Go to AutoZone and get your batteries there a reputable, reliable honest company. Stop giving our money to these greedy companies that don't give a darn about you or the quality of the junk they sell.
