If you have the time. It's a good size shop and a bit messy in a good way. Not everything is on display and you're going to have to dig for that treasure. It's all set up like a typical thrift store just disorganized. Pricing is just about average if not a little lower on some items. There seemed to be a lot of people traffic the time I was there so take the now usual health precautions. So this being a humane society based thrift it allows animals and sells a lot of animal stuff...sweet. They did have employees or volunteers moving around working in areas cleaning, straightening and stocking from the back but I'm sure they would stop to answer your questions. Last words...bark...bark.

I give these guys all my clothes and shoes. They're the best and mostly because it's a cause I care about. I also hope to be making a will soon because I don't have children and I want to leave all my money to animal welfare. Come check this wonderful store out and don't forget to leave them a cash donation as well!

Apparently only aggressive bullies get their way here

I have two stars because I love animals and the $ they make goes towards helping animals. I visited the store this past Sunday, and found some pretty cool pieces! I was very excited, but, right now due to Covid, the employees do not assist moving furniture into customer vehicles. I didn't have assistance, plus my vehicle was full, so I didn't purchase the floor length mirror that I wanted. I called Monday morning 1 minute after opening, and confirmed the mirror was still there! Yaaaay!! I asked if they could hold it until 4pm, and I would pick it up as soon as I got off work. They agreed! Whooop whoop!!!! So excited! 3:50pm- I walk in the door, tell the nice person working at the front that I'm here to pay for the mirror. She says great, and takes my payment. We walk to the mirror and see my hold information stick to the mirror, along with a note staying "Sorry Ames, this mirror was already on hold." - along with a receipt of purchase. ??? WHAT??? So the clerk says no problem, it was on hold for you anyway. Ok great. We walk back to the register and I'm about to go get my car to load the mirror. As we're chatting, some guy walks in, grabs my mirror, and starts walking out! I tell the clerk- umm, this guy is taking my mirror, and I stop him and tell him- I'm sorry, I bought that mirror. He says- SO DID I!!!!! Whoa sir, calm down, no need to yell. He gets super aggressive with the young female clerk, so I tell him, hey, it's ok. She's just doing her job. There seems to be a problem, I put this on hold this morning at opening, and you bought it later. To which he said he bought it on Sunday, and it's his! Too much! The clerk asks for the receipt and he tells her- I'm not giving you anything! You're on her (my) side!! Super aggressively. So I tell the clerk to call the supervisor. Supervisor "Eric" comes up to the front, asks the guy what's going on- ignores me- let's aggressive guy take the mirror- THAT I PUT ON HOLD AND PAID FOR!!!! Turns to me and says sorry. He paid for it yesterday. As he said this the clerk looks at the paperwork and says- No, he paid for it today! At this point- my mirror that I paid for is gone, and Eric the supervisor- cowed down to the aggressive, hostile customer. I ask for the manager of the store along with my money back, and tell him that I understand mistakes, but to be totally ignored due to the fact that Eric didn't want to, in his words- put himself in danger- wasn't acceptable. This makes me want to remove stars just remembering all of this!! But I love the animals. I was accused of being aggressive and told I don't need to ask or know the management's names! Never have I ever been treated so poorly!!! Never have I EVER been accused of being aggressive! I left the store, incredulous at the- unfortunate biased treatment. Although I love the animals, I'll spend my hard earned money with a business that operated fairly. Enter at your own risk.

I really want to support this store. I donate ALL my stuff to them BUT...I am tired of the bathroom being closed. My mom loves thrifting and we usually go after having lunch which means... one of us will need to use a restroom. I hate that their bathroom is always closed! I have had a full basket of stuff and had to leave to drive to another location to use the bathroom. Open your restrooms to shoppers or I will take my business elsewhere!

They pick up and are very polite, reliable. They require at least 5 boxes of donation for pick up. Great charity for the animals

Having personally experienced the care hospice provides, shopping here felt deeper than just finding great deals--it felt like giving back. The store offers everything you'd expect from a thrift shop--housewares, artwork, furniture, clothing, jewelry, and even essentials like diapers and Depends. But what sets it apart is their boutique section, featuring higher-end items at fantastic prices. On top of that, they run additional discounts based on colored tags--I literally had to take a picture to keep track of all the deals! The organization here is impressive. Clothing is neatly arranged by size, and even the shoes are sorted the same way, which makes browsing so much easier. The displays are classy, giving the shop an elevated, boutique-like feel rather than a typical thrift store vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. They have one restroom, which was clean, and three fitting rooms. The fitting rooms are a bit on the tight side, so it may be challenging for wheelchair access, but they are functional. Overall, this shop has such good energy--great finds, thoughtful organization, and a meaningful mission. It's one of those places where you leave feeling good about what you bought and where your money is going.

The store is very well organized, and all of the staff will greet you with a smile and offer to help you find whatever you are looking for. Deals are clearly marked on multiple white boards within the store. So many affordable items so little time. You'll find yourself starting with a couple of items, then a handful, then you'll ask where the shopping carts are (they are up front). Happens every time. I was just in yesterday with a few minutes to browse before they closed. Walked out with 21 DVDs and three Star Wars novels. I first found out about White Dove from my late grandma. She recommended the one in Phoenix near where she lived. Been going to many of the Valley stores since. This one just happens to be within walking distance of our house in the East Valley. We have seen this store thrive in a spot which used to rotate different businesses in and out every few years. Nice to have some stability in our neighborhood plaza - and one which raises money for Hospice of the Valley. We have not only seen them do well, but years ago they even expanded. The store has a very nice addition to the West side of their store with larger items, paintings, and collectibles for sale. Highly recommend White Dove for your thrifting adventures.

There is no "up and down." This place is a labyrinth designed by someone who said, "What if we hid Narnia behind every dresser?" I got lost at least three times. Possibly four. At one point I genuinely forgot: What I came for, which direction I entered... who I am as a person. Every time I thought I found the "main path," I'd turn a corner and BAM! secret pocket room. Hidden alcove. Side quest unlocked. Now, to be fair, if you are someone who enjoys treasure hunting, rummaging, discovering trinkets you didn't know you needed, and time traveling, this is your Disneyland. There is stuff. So much stuff. Trinkets. Bobbles. Whatnots, galore. Things your grandma had. Things your grandma refused to have. I went in looking for one very specific item. I did not find it. I did, however, find three existential moments and mild spatial disorientation. Did I have a good time? Yes. Did I leave with what I needed? No. Did I briefly consider dropping breadcrumbs to find my way out? Also yes. Three stars because it's impressive, chaotic, and an adventure... but if you go in with a mission, be prepared to lose it. Possibly along with your sense of direction. Would return. With a map.

We've been to this store several times over the past couple of years & every time I'm lucky enough to find something amazing yet half the time my choice is in the locked cabinet..... lol! This store is extremely large so you can definitely be there for a few hours because they have everything that you can imagine! The store is also well spaced out for as big as it is & it's not cluttered like some antique stores can be! On this last visit I completely lucked out because I've been eyeing a figurine in a glass case & it was still there! Well once they took it out & put it in my hands I knew I wanted it.... a Giuseppe Armani figurine so delicately made, I fell in love & the price.... Could not beat! Then on another visit in another locked glass case there she sat.... This gorgeous Sweden " Strombergshyttan " crystal vase of a girl holding a bird cage, underneath the vase is signed & numbered. Yes I basically walked away with a steal, my husband had to tell me to stop smiling! I just love this store, there's such a large selection to choose from for all tastes out there! Mind you it's not in that fancy zip code but do not let that discourage you because sometimes when you drive out of those zip codes that's where's there'll be some extra treasures lingering around!

Now, I'm rating this location in comparison to another DESERET Industry store I gave five stars, and the only reason this one lands at four is the air quality. There's a noticeable mustiness--more of that classic thrift store smell--and oddly enough, I found myself sneezing while inside, which wasn't happening before I walked in. I will say, the toys and home goods sections do lose a bit of that polished feel. Like the other location, those areas lean more toward slightly disorganized--nothing wild, but enough to break the otherwise clean, curated flow of the store. Aside from that? Solid spot. Great organization overall, easy shopping experience, and definitely still worth the thrift trip.
