I was also told this has happened with her before. On top of all this, Ms Kim thought my 7 year old son was 41 because his birthday was entered in wrong. I thought she was joking and she wasn't! Then she proceeded to say he was 4!!! This is after I told her he was 7 about 10 times. She couldn't figure out the dosage for him so we sat there and watched her google it for 10 minutes on her cell phone. And it ended up still being wrong to the point where Walgreens told me it could have damaged his heart! The whole experience was insane.

Between the initial office visit and one set of labs, I've already spent over $1,000. I was told the labs would "usually come back fairly reasonable" through insurance, but $725 is far from reasonable. I was also told there was a cash-pay option of $900, which is equally concerning. I'm not sure what standard of "reasonable" this clinic is using, because these costs feel excessive and out of reach for many people. It gave me the impression that this practice may only be accessible to those for whom cost isn't a concern. Additionally, my experience during the in-office lab draw was concerning. The staff member who attempted it seemed very inexperienced, she removed the tourniquet before even attempting to insert the needle and then tried to reposition the needle after insertion. Another staff member had to step in and was able to draw the labs immediately without any issues, which was frustrating given that I've been told I have easy veins. On top of that, I would have had to pay another $219 out of pocket for a follow-up lab review that was supposed to happen within 7-10 days, but the earliest available appointment was a month out. At that point, I decided to cancel and take it as a sign. I would not return and cannot recommend this clinic. I would hate for someone else to end up in the same position, especially when you're already not feeling well and just trying to find answers, only to be left with an unexpected financial burden on top of it.

After three months under their care--and over $150,000 spent, she left with tumors that had increased in size and had spread throughout her body. Her cancer had metastasized. She received very little actual medical care, and, shockingly, no tests were performed to monitor whether the treatments were working. While visiting, we learned that her lead "doctor" was not a medical professional. We also learned that the cost of the care was based on the length of stay. It became clear they were more interested in prolonging her stay than helping her heal. There was no housing support, compassionate guidance, or real oversight. It was deeply disappointing. Tragically, my sister-in-law passed away. From the moment she walked out the doors of Envita, there was complete silence. No one followed up to check on her condition, to ask how she was doing, or to inquire about results. Not a single call, email, or text. We believe her time and money were taken advantage of during the most vulnerable period of her life. I urge anyone considering treatment at Envita to proceed with extreme caution. We went to Arizona General on Ellsworth and Elliot. From the minute we walked in to register until I left there was pleasant helpful staff. We arrived around 9pm, Emily at registration was kind and quickly got me registered. About two minutes later I starting receiving text updates about my wait time. These texts continued throughout my stay in the ED, keeping me up to date on my progress. AND, this morning I received another text offering help to find a PCP and make a follow up appointment!! The Triage team saw me within 20 minutes, and about 10 minutes later I was called back to a room. Dr. Okafor came into the room, listened to my symptoms, and immediately told me he would be ordering a CT scan and blood work. All the tests, blood work, CT scan, were done so quickly, I was truly astonished. Gratefully, nothing was seriously wrong, and I was informed I'd be going home. Karla, RN, explained all my discharge paperwork instructions very clearly, my IV was removed, and we were on our way home. This entire process was so quick and efficient! We arrived around 9 pm and we were back in our home at 12:03 am, this is including our drive time. It took over an hour to be seen and I had to leave without being seen , when I tried to reschedule. They wouldn't get me back in for three weeks, after bilateral pneumonia!!, how was that follow up? For three weeks they can't get me to listen to my lungs for a five minute follow up. I think the doctors are great if you can get past the rude front office.
