Some appointments I wait past assigned time but not more than 15 and the Doctor is usually quick to get in the room. Arklatex Derm is definitely better now than 5 years ago - I guess. I've read the bad reviews. I've had bad doctors and have a PCP right now that needs written up. I just advocate for myself better. I ask questions and no one will make me feel rushed or pushed out the door before I feel like it's time to leave. I prefer the Bossier clinic. The waiting room is always full, so I am not the only one who likes this place! read more

Definitely would not go. The doctor is so old she might just not make it another few years and does not really analyze the situation you are having and jumps to prescribing you medication without actually doing test or looking for other routes. Needless to say she gave me a prescription medicine that can cause complete failure of the adrenal glands and from reading the trials it happened to 8 out of the 10 patients and only 2 could gain recovery. She never said any of this to me I'm just thankful for being a bio major and being able to understand everything. For anyone wondering what the failure of the adrenal gland can do it basically can cause a decrease in cortisol production and possibly aldosterone which deal with the reabsorption of spurious and excretion of potassium along with the possibility of not being able to raise glucose lvl when needed. She definitely did not seem to care about my concerns and was just trying to get me out of there as quick as she could. If you go here good luck you will not get the help you want. read more

Ive been here for over an hour since my appointment time. Still not even in the room. People who got here 15 minutes ago already being seen. Who knows how long I will wait to even see the doctor once out of the waiting room. They take too many appointments for the same time and then you are left here forgotten. read more

I am a new patient and scheduled the earliest appointment available at 8am with Dr Baker. I arrived at 750 with pre printed paperwork in hand that I filled out at home before my appt. A lot of Others were being called back before me, and I was finally called back at 8:48. The receptionist and the nurse were both annoyed with me that I asked why it took an hour to be called back for a first scheduled appt. I waited as long as I could in the exam room before I finally had to leave to get to work. Now I'll need to call back to see if I can be refunded my $45 copay. I will not go back to this clinic, and I would not recommend this clinic if you like to have timely or courteous service. read more

I went in for issues with getting my skin to get cleared up. I checked in and the wait was not too long before I was taken back. Granted I do appointments first thing in the morning. Doctor was right in and gave me a few options and a prescription to try with a follow up time. The whole process was very smooth and efficient considering all of the extra thing doctors offices seem to have to do with COVID. read more

Slow as hell ask you to arrive 30 mins early so you can sit on your ass watching everyone else wait. Would not recommend

Went in for an appointment. Waited way over an hour in the waiting room. Once I got back to the exam room the nurse was running around like a chicken with her head cut off telling me that they were trying to keep the doctor on schedule because she had a flight to catch. This was not how I wanted my first appointment to start. When the doctor came in she too acted very rushed, did not ask me any questions like what products I used, and just hurriedly prescribed me oral medications. I told the nurse in the beginning that I did not want to be on oral medication, that I would like to try something topical. I left with no answers. read more
