First red flag should have been the fact that when I tried to rent a unit and move my stuff in, there was no one physically in the office nor anyone answering the phones even remotely to answer questions and clarify things. Second red flag was that after moving in, the front door's security was broken and literally anyone off the street could access the building. But I desperately needed a place to store my stuff. At the time, I was told the price I had was what would remain for the duration of my renting the unit and the reason that I couldn't get a better price was that it was the summer, and that the lower prices are in the winter. Accordingly, I was shocked to find my price increased, and more so, without any warning. I was told a notice was mailed, but to this day, I NEVER got such a notice. I called customer service, the national number, and was told to get in touch with the physicial store I was at because they don't have control over that. I asked, what is the purpose of the customer service line if they can't help provide service or resolution to issues, they said "we're just here for security issues." the fact the price increased during the winter months, which are notorious for having cheaper prices, makes no sense. Speaking with other customers at that location, who had rented units for over a year, they told me their price they had never changed, so it's incredibly out of the norm that my unit increased. Also, this is more than likely a health hazard. There was a dead bird in front of one of the units that was there for a couple months, indicating no one is cleaning the floors or doing any sort of inspection in the building.

It's been 2 weeks the AC is still leaking bc the woman in the office told me they can't find anyone to fix it for what they are willing to pay. I have repeatedly asked to speak to their boss Jason and was told he will not speak to a customer. They locked our units bc I refused to pay them when my stuff is getting wet and moldy and laughed in my face that my 73 year old husband sat back there with a wet vacuum for 4 hours trying to save our stuff. I have filed a police report and I am still trying to get a hold of someone other than the two women in the office who have told me multiple lies it's not even about the fact they aren't doing their job as human beings you should be ashamed of yourselves.
