This place could not be better!!! The easy and most obvious attribute is the fantastic work Ark does grooming our dog Rey. She came home sparkly, shiny fully trimmed and looking beautiful. VERY REASONABLE pricing leaves plenty of room for their well deserved tip - but I would also recommend Ark's because he so clearly LOVES YOUR PET. Even with his COVID mask on, I could see that Ark was beaming with joy talking about my dog and the fun afternoon she had there. I really wanted to give full stars as the groomer, himself, was very nice! The woman who initially took my call honestly made me question if I should take my girl in, she was not the nicest however I stopped a lady on the side of the road to ask where her dog got groomed and she recommended Ark in addition to a friend. First time my pup went to a groomer. I didn't notice until I brought her home that her nails had been cut far into the quick and were bleeding. I was devastated as I did not know I needed to explain to a well recommended groomer to be careful with this. I have a chow that doesn't warm to people, as a rule. But when I pick my little Monkey up, he's running around with the other dogs (Ark has kennels, but I don't think he puts the dogs in them unless they need to be separated) and wagging his tail. Arkaidy is wonderful! His shop is clean, easy to get to and has plenty of parking. He has always taken wonderful care of my family's three dogs, never hurting or nicking them, even though two of them are very squirmy and do not like being groomed. They always come home happy and smelling great. He is a very nice, kind man and is always friendly. He even laughs it off when one of our dogs frequently makes a mess on his floor. Ark's a wonderful guy and does a great job with our dog. He's moved locations over the last year so this new location is getting renovated but has plenty of space for hair cuts and washes. My dog Quincy loves him (but he also loves everyone... haha!). I have tried many places for grooming and Ark's is one of the best. My dog is a shih-tzu/yorkie mix who has a lot of hair, is difficult to groom and usually comes out looking funny. Ark's always does a great and consistent grooming job that that is just the way I like. The prices are really reasonable. The owner is super friendly and flexible, unlike some other grooming salons where you have to call weeks in advance to get an appointment. read more

No explanation was given and I was in such shock that I didn't ask what the heck happened!
