I needed a bridesmaids dress refitted, I went in on a Monday needing it by Friday and she said no problem. This dress has a lot of lining and layers to it so she said that affected the pricing. She told the price up front for pulling in the bust letting out the waist and fixing the chiffon skirt so I didnt look so wide in the hips. She also let me know she only accepts cash and checks. She told me to come back on Wednesday in case it needed to be fixed and it did. It was pulled in a little too much at the bust but the rest of the alterations were perfect. She said sorry and to please come back tomororw (thursday) in case anything else was wrong I could still be ready by Friday. I went in and it fit beautifully so I paid her the previously agreed price and walked out a happy customer. She is a sweet old Chinese lady with broken English but she communicates very well and smiles a lot. She even made a few jokes about when was I getting married. When I first went in at 8am I did not realize that they did not open until 10am. She was doing morning chores and her husband was watching tv. She stopped everything cleared up, shooed him to the back room and let me in. I felt terrible for interrupting their morning but she was friendly and welcoming. The space is crowded and covered with clothing, fabrics and sewing machines and the dressing room curtain is a little too small but you can tell she works hard. I will always go back to Mrs. Lang!

That was at 5:15 my appointment time. I called and a stranger answered and agreed to let us come in to try on the dress. The dress was crooked and unfinished and he said she'll call you, maybe you come back 8,9 or 10 tonight. After waiting in my car 1 1/2 hours I called again and said I don't do business this way and he became rude saying you want dress for some money/cash. The work was amazing, and the dress ended up the perfect length. I drove in from State College for the alterations, and she was kind enough to give me recommendations for things to do in the area while she worked on the dress.
