This resale shop is located in a run down Shopping Strip. However, it is not runned down. It does smell a little musty in there? It's decorated nice in there. Arlington Resale has a large Christmas selection, Woman's Coats and Blazer's, a Petite rack, a large Men's sections, Children's Clothes and Toys and houseware items and a few furniture pieces. They even have Wedding Dresses! All there stuff is donated. The prices are good. Most of the stuff was from $4.00 to $8.00. The Cashier was nice and so where the shoppers. I would highly recommend this Resale Shop. It's got a great selection, a friendly Cashier and Shoppers. They have Restrooms but, you must ask for the key. It's clean and organized as well. Went today to Arlington resale and enjoyed my visit. They gave wonderful things and their mission is to help unplanned pregnancy not give thrifters the low ball price. They are a classy resale but a goodwill store that sometimes sells broken items and items that do not work. Arlington resale is NOT that. I have such mixed feelings about Arlington Resale. First things first, the inside is so nice for a thrift store- it's beautiful! There is a kids' boutique that is open now. It is on the left when you walk in. I find the prices at Arlington Resale to be quite high when compared to alternatives. That being said, I can swing a few extra dollars for a quality item. My issue comes from selection. There's just not a lot of clothing options, which is what I thrift for. It's very slim. I love dresses, there is not many there. Even going months apart, they still have the same dresses up. I'm just not sure if they don't regularly receive clothing donations or if it's a matter of stock not being rotated out or added? Another issue I have are the shoes. They have the ability to do sizing, there are plenty of shelves. Instead, they organize by color. I almost skip it entirely when I would usually check out the shoes. It's not easy to look through, and many of the shoes have sat for so long they have a layer of dust on them. I like their crafting section, which is why I am giving three stars. They are organized fabulously and well priced on crafting supplies. They also carry a good deal of home items, albeit they are overpriced. read more

I love this store and prefer it over the other two big "non profit" resale shops(cough cough good army and salvation will ). Granted pricing has become a problem no matter where you go, the treasures are still readily available. I've found $250+ motorcycle jackets here for $60. $150 leather vests for $40. An absolute amazing vintage Star Wars VHS($150+) for $25... I could go on. I'd rather shop here than the other places where I've found $10 Walmart jeans selling for $20. or the overpriced furniture(what's with the $300 used beds at salvation?). The fact remains, resellers continue to push these little good mines to use other means to sell their inventory and stock. This shop will always be on my list of places to stop and shop read more

The star is based on value to dollar. Great selection, packed full of mostly quality DONATED items to fund a nonprofit. 5 star for options, many,many items were overpriced. They priced a used bag $20 , saying it was online for $100. I showed them the $40 new tag online. It shouldn't have been more than $5. Decent comforters are over priced at 35-40. They had Knick knack stuff for $ 8-10, absolutely overpriced. I bought a nice solid wood dinette on sale in the past and and other nice items occasionally, but I believe their philosophy is to hold onto items until they sell at their higher price. Slash prices in half and reduce their packed stock. It really is packed for a donation store. I waited for 5 minutes for the manager to discuss the overpriced used bag,and her messenger told me the manager said she was too busy. WHY DID I BOTHER WAITING? I've donated here regularly since they opened. This is donated resale, NOT CONSIGNMENT. read more

I think this location lost sight of their mission to help struggling moms in need and instead is trying to be a high end boutique/antique store that markets to affluent families. Poor people like antiques and vintage too. Evidently Items are sold for the highest possible online price via EBay or Google without regard to condition or how many items actually sold at that price. Let people buy good things for cheap- you'll get a lot more business in the long run. read more

I've been to probably over 100 thrift shops and resale stores in my life and I'm pretty sure this one wins for worst prices. The building is large and the place is clean and comfortable, but the prices were astronomical compared to any other thrift store. A good example was a pair of Merona pants from Target that was new with tags. Target's sticker shows where it was clearanced for $6 and they priced them at $10. Shoes that would be $8 or less at any other thrift store were $30. You can cut every price in the place by 50% and it would still be overpriced. read more

As far as thrift stores go this one is one of my favorite ones but it still has a number of issues that prevent it from always being a good shopping experience. The prices are a little all over the place with books being triple what they should be but then an ongoing deal for buy 1 get 2 others of equal or lesser value free that is always excluded from additional sales plus the clothes prices are jacked up to start twice a year when they get new stock but gradually go down and get really cheap when they clearance them out before replacement. Housewares and shoes frequently go on sale at 25% off but fashion items like jewelry and belts almost never go on sale. Like once a year the whole store goes half off but that is not as often as other thrift stores which do that like once a month. The DVD's are priced better here regularly and they have a nice selection of stuff for sale and the employees and volunteers are very helpful so overall the experience is pleasant but the hours are not great since they close at 6 every day which is too early for me. They have a way to get notified about sales via text which used to work great but for the past 6 months hasn't messaged me despite repeated signup attempts. This is location 1 of 3 which is bigger and in my opinion better than the other 2. Resale Two on Collins is tiny with less selection unless you want baby stuff, less sales, and less nice people. Resale 3 is only for furniture. It is setup beautifully but the prices for knickknacks are horrible and it too is small with limited selection. I did find a wonderful furniture piece or two I wanted but they do not offer delivery or hold them for more than 24 hours to get transportation arranged so I was unable to get the large items home meaning I couldn't buy them which still upsets me and takes away from my impression of this chain. Resale 1 is in a good location for me but you have to know it is there because it is not really visible from the road and for years I had no idea it existed even though I drove by it regularity. Overall I prefer shopping here to other thrift stores but I consider it a mixed bag and would give it 3 and a half stars if I could but I just can't quite give it 4 without a few improvements. read more

I love this resale store and its more boutique sister store further east in Arlington. I always leave with a pile of great clothes for very little money - there's usually a 50% sale going on as well. I've been to many thrift stores too, but these two stores don't have the mess and smell of the cheaper ones. I don't find junk here, just gently worn - or new - items. I'm not looking for the very cheapest I can find; I'm looking for clothes I will be please to wear. Since inventory moves quickly I don't always find what I'm looking for, but I keep coming back! read more

Arlington Resale! I love this place. There is a beautiful painting of a Bible verse on top of the ceiling when you first walk in. Every time I go in I am always greeted by one of the ladies and the entire atmosphere and vibe is peaceful and cheerful. There are true treasures to be found here. Of course it is a thrift store so you need to examine every item yourself to check if it is well-made or fits, but there are lots of good finds (and cheap!) every where you look. I always go straight to the dresses and most of the time can find a really cute and vintage number I can't find in any other store. There are so many things at this store and it's hard not to spend at least an hour here haha. I have bought CDs, books, jewelry, and even a calculator skin here. Every visit there is new stuff waiting to be discovered. Best part of all, the proceeds of your purchases go to a crisis pregnancy charity next door. :) read more

Arlington Resale isn't super convenient to get to, but there is a Tuesday Morning also in the parking lot if that helps. There is also a Discount Tire, so whenever I'm there I waltz over to the resale shop and try to locate some treasures. All proceeds go to benefit the Women's Pregnancy Crisis Center. The building is fancy inside because it used to be an upscale gym back in the day. There is a ton of women's clothing, some men's too, jewelry and lots of kids' toys. Once I even saw an accordion for sale, so you never know. There is a separate room off the entrance that has some furniture and antiques, not a ton, and there is a small room with frames and art off the main shopping area near the shoes. I use too drive out of my way to go to this thrift store now i only stop in when i am passing by which is not often since i live 45 minutes away. The prices are really high for donated items, yes they have some nice donated i end items but not worth what they are asking for them and is exactly the reason a lot of items have been in the store for years and years. Last 3 times i have gone in and found something i might of bought i ended up finding it on offerup or FB marketplace cheaper. read more

I enjoyed most of my time there,chatting with the older ladies by the housewares. I took my time to look around at all the different stuff. I mostly work 45 to 60 hours a week so I don't have time to do this most of the time. I don't dress up to the fullest on my days off,I just want to be relaxed. I am used to not wearing make up,and having a 70 dollar hair do on these days also.I didn't realize you had to be high class dressed to enter, i was checked out by a lady with short blonded hair,well let me tell you, I was judged by my appearance. I was standing at the counter a good 5 minutes, looking at the lady who checked me out, before she came over to me. she looked at me a few times. She was talking to another co-worker,and pointed at me once that I know of. when see came to check me out, said hello, there was no response. I tried to made conversation agian,I said I fell like I have been in here forever,no response,she just looked at me. I payed her in cash,when she gave back my change, there was no thank you,no do you have email,and shop here, NOT EVEN THANK YOU. Shame on you for judging people.I will make sure I tell my co- workers at Alcon not to shop here. read more
