Great doctor and office staff! I've been going here for over 10 years and I've always been treated well and taken care of.

Got an appointment very quickly and was told that they were sending in a script - 4 hours later and…read morethey have never sent the script. Why are people so incompetent and not doing their job? If this was an example of their service, I can only say it sucks.

TL;DR - I was given bad info and significantly overcharged for my procedure…read more I received a Mohs surgery at this location. I have 3 main complaints: First, I was given misinformation about the procedure: I was told by a nurse this was a simple procedure that would heal quickly and not involve stitches. I found out on the day of the procedure that was false: it involved multiple stitches and several weeks of recovery. Second, I was assured by a nurse that the procedure would be covered by my insurance. I found out afterward that was not the case. Nothing was covered, I was simply sent a bill for thousands of dollars which I am now paying in installments, and will be for more than a year. Lastly, it took them two passes to remove all the cancer, despite it being a relatively small area (smaller than a penny). Same visit; I never even left the chair. But I found out later I was charged for two Mohs surgeries. Why I should have to pay double because they failed at their job is beyond me. In any other situation, if you pay for a service and the service isn't fully rendered, they make it right at no extra cost. So if you go here, plan to do your homework. Maybe get a second opinion. Google what to expect. Get any information you're given in writing. Call your insurance company yourself and ask if your treatment will be covered. And be aware that if they make a mistake, you're the one who will pay for it.

To say that the appointment was brusk would be an understatement. It was three months before the…read moredoctor could actually see me. When I did, I saw her for less than two minutes. She did not introduce herself, nor did she conclude or ask me if I had any questions. She walked out of the room literally while still giving directions (whether to me or the nurse, I don't know). The nurse spent more time with me, but she spoke really, really fast and talked about various things I might need to do - soaps, make-ups, etc. - that she said the doctor would address but did not. When I broached the subject of how brief the appointment was, the receptionist asked me, "Well, didn't she look at your face?" The receptionist could tell that I was somewhat shocked by the brevity of the experience, so she put me back in the exam room. The doctor arrived again, told me to sit on the exam table (rather than the chair in the corner as I had at first) and asked me if I wanted to put on a gown so that "you'd feel like you had been seen." She seemed put-out by having to deal with me again. I asked her questions that I had about make-up and sunscreen, but the doctor insisted that I just use the cream she was prescribing and come back in a few months. She did not mention how many months and, given how long it took me to get in for my initial appointment, I went ahead and made a follow-up appointment for three months out. I will not be keeping that appointment and will be seeking treatment elsewhere. Side note (though not a complaint): They only accept cash or check for co-pay. I was prepared for this, but given the length of time between making the appointment and actually being seen, I imagine many people forget this.
