Booked on 08/02 for tonight 08/06. Followed rules and showed up. No one was there, empty. No response on the phone either calls or texts. Sent message on Facebook still. Completed dispute with my credit card. Don't waste your time, most of all YOUR MONEY! The email, text message link and Facebook all say the address we went to. NOT the address on Yelp. read more

I wish I would have looked here before booking. like others I booked online showed up and was told they closed. tried calls and left messages. someone called me baclose and left a message but now I can't get them on phone. they won't answer texts and my email messsges received a return email that it couldn't be delivered If they are closed they should not take your money. if they are open they need to answer texts and call me. small amount but I will reach out to bbb since this is fraud or theft or something wrong. read more

Booked an appointment and paid in full for the appointment. Arrived 15 minutes early to an empty building in an industrial suite. Could not reach the business through any of their recommended avenues. Do not book. Your money just goes into a black hole. read more

We had such a great time at Axe Haus. The owner gives you a lesson and coaches you as you throw! It's BYOB so that's an added plus. This would be perfect for a group of friends or date night! Excellent service and experience! read more

Established in 2019.

Founded by Eric Von Wade, veteran radio and news broadcaster with over 26 years experience, who took his passion and experience in hand making leather products, knives, traditional bows, and more then developed manufacturing sources to produce the highest quality, performance, and savings. After traveling Texas and Louisiana for 2 1/2 years branding and market testing price one dealer asked to have assistance opening a store front but became ill and Eric decided to add the hottest start business activity in the county to the handmade gear for outdoors, axe throwing. Having already become a North American wholesale dealer for AMSOIL it presented diverse business model that targeted different components of a large demographic of outdoor enthusiasts. And thus it begins... "There is no equal." Eric Von Wade.

Meet the Business Owner: Eric Von Wade W.

Eric Von Wade, Corpus Christi native and veteran broadcaster in radio and television news with 26 years experience as the youngest host of the longest continual running talk radio show in the cities history. In 2017 Eric made the decision to persue another life long passion for the outdoors in making his Damascus steel, designs, leather craft, and other knowlwdge into global resource manufacturing of superior handmade gear for outdoors. After traveling to brand his products across Texas and Louisianna and sales through the e-commerce website, opening a physical storefront is the next phase in progression. Combining an axe throwing facility and pub is another first for Corpus Christi and the only one south of San Antonio Texas as of 2019.

They were able to accommodate this (for an extra fee, about $3) and hand make a personal pan pizza with toppings of your request. We certainly weren't expecting it to be as big or as good as it was either! We did not ask, though, if the gluten free pies were all you can eat as we only ordered the one. As for the regular buffet, it is smaller compared to Gatti's past but still had enough options to satisfy my nostalgia, the food tasted just as I remembered, which for me was fantastic. Heck, even the plates are just like I remember! When we arrived there weren't too many people, but I can definitely see if the place was full (the movie room, the sports room, and the cafe) how the buffet would be far too small to accommodate the masses. But when not at capacity, there is no issue. The staff were kind and attentive, and the game room was surprisingly fun! Also small, but has enough variety to make it worth it. Going up to the prize counter was just as exciting as it was when I was a kid! This was such a fun little treat to find and I had a great time!

It has a swim up bar that provides adult beverages for your consumption. They also have a small food court to order food and enjoy it as well in a shaded seated area. There are three slides...one which is opened which you can slide down on a mat, and the other two are somewhat enclosed you slide down on tubes which is actually pretty fun. It also has a lazy river and an area for some surfing. Can't forget about the kiddos fun zone. They have packages and seasonal passes for all your family needs. Cole Park is an excellent amenity to Corpus living!…read more It is located just South of McGee Beach where Shoreline Blvd turns into Ocean Dr. Most visitors and tourists ignore it because it is not the beach, but once you get familiar with the park, you'll see all it has to offer. And it is quite large and currently under redevelopment with more improvements I remember when lockdowns ended in 2020 and public amenities became accessible again. This was one of the first parks I started to frequent again. I often go downtown for dining and work events, and find myself going for walks here afterwards.

It was a cute little beach and didn't have many crowds thankfully so can enjoy it in peace. The sand wasn't too bad honestly though there was some trash along the shoreline which is unfortunate. When you do walk into the water there are shells and rocks that maybe hurt to walk in but once you pass that small section, you just feel nice soft sand on your feet. Just wear water shoes if needed. My nephew did find some little hermit crabs but they never bothered us and we're cool to look at. No issues with any animal thankfully. There are different types of birds flying around we saw including seagulls and a blue heron. If you decide to bring food be careful they will definitely try to get some. Overall it was fun experience. Not the best beach out there but still had fun.

Absolutely an awesome place to hang out and get a good work out!! It was so much fun especially when I hit that bulls eye! Never having picked up an axe before in my life, it comes down to technique plus having Eric as my teacher! You guys are the best. Zach is quiet at first, but I got to know everyone my first time there. He is so sweet and respectful. Jason is so down to earth and his parents were the sweetest people. I think Eric and Jason have opened up an excellent BYOB Activity of Axe throwing where you can go chill with your friends and participate or just sit back and watch your partner participate. The staff here is so so kind. We came here with our 4 boys and the gentlemen helping us were so awesome at showing them how to do what they needed and even some tricks too. One of the gentlemen sold one of our kids a wand he made out of an old axe for more than half off what he usually sells them for. I can't say enough good things about the people running this place. Finally an axe throwing establishment in Corpus Christi! Staff was friendly and fun. They taught my wife how to throw an axe in three tries!!! Had a great time.......I'm thinking about joining the World Axe Throwing League which they are apart of........you never know I could be the champion some day........I would totally recommend this experience to anyone....great atmosphere.........the perfect place for a first date or children's birthday party......see you there! read more

This place was awesome. At first when you walk up, it can be easy to miss. But once you walk inside, you know you are in the right place!!!! Me and my daughter have never tried ax throwing before, but they were very patient with us, and before long we were throwing with confidence. Several bullseyes as well. Most amazing, new, original, and fun thing anyone has done in Corpus Christi! I never knew throwing an axe could be this much fun and the coaches took me from zero to hero with my throwing skills! Whole place is Viking theme made from salvaged wood and hand carved and or painted. It's cool just BYOB and hanging out taking pictures. Addictive fun!!! read more
