Earlier this week, I purchased on-line a Cooke S4i 12mm Single from E Prime Rentals for around…read more$20,000. I had agonized for several weeks over purchasing this new or used. New, it was an expensive lens. I had not purchased a lens from EPR previously. Were they a reputable company? Was their inspection comments to be believed? I then decided to give EPR a try since their return policy was commendable. So I sent them a wire transfer. The same day, I received an order confirmation, and shortly afterwards, a shipping confirmation. Boy, that was quick! Maybe this company was to be believed. Shipping was included, and there was no Texas sales tax ( at 8.25%) added to the cost. This was looking like a great deal. About 48 hours after order confirmation, FedEx showed up at my door with the lens. I immediately inspected the lens for any use and/or abuse. The lens mount was snug as it should be. The focusing and zoom rings were solid and firm without any sloppiness or wear. No dents or scratches on the lens body. The EPR inspection comments stated that there were faint scratches on the front lens elements. My inspection showed no scratches anywhere. Maybe the EPR inspector's reading glasses were dirty? In summation, I feel like I received a "NIB" lens that showed no wear or flaws. Will I buy my next lens from E Prime Rentals?....Yes! Would I recommend EPR to another serious filmmaker?....Yes! To E Prime Rentals, I want to say thank you, you have vastly exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to my next purchase from you.

Their team is quick to respond and their prices were more than fair. I'm a young filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, and I'm growing my business this year, so every dollar counts and I really can't afford to make bad purchases. I just purchased a set of Cooke S4i Mini's from E Prime Rentals, and I couldn't be happier with the transparency, speed of service, and price point. They also earned my long-term business for their quality and customer service. Long story short, I'll be using E Prime Rentals for quality used lens and camera purchases and rentals again (and again) on my film sets and media workshops across the US. I found them online and was able to add my digital prints from my disc and crop each photo the way I wanted. As well as what size I wanted each photo to be. Simple website to use and it emails you your order and you pay in store. I was so shocked to see they are one of the very few places that still develop film. I know developing film is a pain, for those of use who've taken a photography class know what I'm talking about. On my wedding prints, they printed out a cropped version and a none cropped version, obvi the cropped version some people got cut out of the picture. However, I had put in my order and had been so busy I didn't get out until a month after I ordered it online, and the had misplaced it or thrown it out. But they told me, they would reprint and it would be 20 minutes. So they did and all turned out just so amazing! Not only to the have a photo lab, but they also have a frame shop too. So any custom framing is done as well. I'm so happy I found this place! This is now my go to photo printing lab! No more having my prints done at Walmart, CVS OR Walgreens! They always turned out so blurry.

JB Effects did a great job and in a timely manner. We were so pleased that I took some old negatives to have photos printed in black and white. These turned out great as well. You expect the gear to be in good condition and the experience to be pleasant. That would make for a 4 star experience in my book. But, Doug went above and beyond the call of duty. From helping me pick exactly what I needed and nothing I didn't, to communicating with my insurance company to make sure they had all the information I needed in the right place so that I would be properly covered should something go wrong. I called the man at the last minute "You got a slider?" the answer was "Yup" and it was promptly picked up. My delivery guys dropped the ball so Doug brought the gear to my shooting location which was luckily not too far from his office but still, way above and beyond what I expect a gear rental business to do. The best way I can describe it is pride of work. I will ALWAYS rent from Pro Gear Orlando!
