New, it was an expensive lens. I had not purchased a lens from EPR previously. Were they a reputable company? Was their inspection comments to be believed? I then decided to give EPR a try since their return policy was commendable. So I sent them a wire transfer. The same day, I received an order confirmation, and shortly afterwards, a shipping confirmation. Boy, that was quick! Maybe this company was to be believed. Shipping was included, and there was no Texas sales tax ( at 8.25%) added to the cost. This was looking like a great deal. About 48 hours after order confirmation, FedEx showed up at my door with the lens. I immediately inspected the lens for any use and/or abuse. The lens mount was snug as it should be. The focusing and zoom rings were solid and firm without any sloppiness or wear. No dents or scratches on the lens body. The EPR inspection comments stated that there were faint scratches on the front lens elements. My inspection showed no scratches anywhere. Maybe the EPR inspector's reading glasses were dirty? In summation, I feel like I received a "NIB" lens that showed no wear or flaws. Will I buy my next lens from E Prime Rentals?....Yes! Would I recommend EPR to another serious filmmaker?....Yes! To E Prime Rentals, I want to say thank you, you have vastly exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to my next purchase from you.

I'm a young filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, and I'm growing my business this year, so every dollar counts and I really can't afford to make bad purchases. I just purchased a set of Cooke S4i Mini's from E Prime Rentals, and I couldn't be happier with the transparency, speed of service, and price point. They also earned my long-term business for their quality and customer service. Long story short, I'll be using E Prime Rentals for quality used lens and camera purchases and rentals again (and again) on my film sets and media workshops across the US.
